Amazing hotel and spa Amazing hotel, the reception manager was very welcoming. I visited in January (very quiet month in torquay) but he nevertheless offered to turn on the sauna and the whole spa just for me! I would highly recommend, rooms are spacious and clean, free parking onsite was ideal. I have visited torquay many times but I will always come back here!

Il personale è brillante, grazie speciali a Karolina sulla ricezione e Charlize sul bar, non menzionare Katie e Owen (direttore Ops) il personale del ristorante è anche brillante e molto utile. È possibile godere le vostre bevande sia nella grande zona bar o fuori sulla bella terrazza che guarda il mare. La cena è sorprendente che si può mangiare ancora nel ristorante o nella zona bar. Il colazione è stile buffet e estremamente buono. La mia stanza era un singolo e tutto funzionava. Senza sostanza pulita e molto comoda. Scrivo molte recensioni e cerco sempre di mantenerle accurate. Un punteggio di 10 è molto raro da me, di solito trovo un nigger da qualche parte, come in morto ho qui prima. Ma in questa occasione, un punteggio di dieci è ben meritato.

Unfortunately for us , our stay at this hotel was marred badly by the dreadfully dirty room we had ; I am sure it was a health hazard . On arrival, the room we were allocated was very small, but more to the point it was MOULDY - walls, windows etc . :( I went to reception where the lady there was so lovely, she was very apologetic and sympathetic and called the Manager , who was equally as pleasant and helpful and very considerate . She showed us another 2 rooms , one of which seemed light and more airy - we thought . Sadly, upon further inspection, which came to light when I tried to open the windows for some air as it was very hot and stuffy and as I am asthmatic, it would have been good to get some fresh air through - but oh dear, this was not to be .The window frames were thick with black and we could not open any . The bathroom was very , very grubby , the bed frame worn right through, the bedroom chair full of dust and grime - we were not sure if we could see mites on one side of the chair- it was so dirty we would not sit in ti and the whole feel of the room made you feel cringy , like you needed a real good scrub! I could not believe it, it ruined the stay . The shower slip mat was mouldy , the windows rattled every time traffic went by . The pillows were biscuit thin . The bed was the worst I have ever slept in - hard, lumpy, could feel the springs , no mattress topper . :( Goodness, I didn't htink rooms like this existed in this day and age !! Absolute health hazard x 2 !! We had tried twice!! There was so much grime in the bathroom , I cringed having to wash in there. We would never use this hotel again ever, and that is a shame as their facilities are good , evening entertainment good , Bistro gets our vote entirely as all staff in there were lovely and friendly, and the food in there was excellent and very good value for money - I highly recommend ! But when you are staying, your room, to me , forms your home for the week, and ours , despite the hotel's efforts , was dreadful. Such a huge disappointment . I am not a person who would normally have this much to say - but our stay was, as I say , runied , knowing we had to go back to this awful grime ridden room each night . I did not see any point asking again - what would be next ?? So, sorry , Derwent , but keeping just your public area's clean and negelcting rooms to the point we had, we will not return, nor, so our 3 friends who were with us , say neither will they . We even considered going and booking another hotel whilst there but that would have meant, of course, we would have paid double for a stay ? Never seen such dirt . Food in restaurant = mmm , presentation not good, sloppy looking meals , tepid temperatures. Bistro food and service = 10 / 10 - Thank you , Aztec Bistro !

Dopo aver letto alcune delle recensioni precedenti, mi sono sentito piacevolmente sorpreso dal nostro breve soggiorno qui. Non avevamo previsto di andare da nessuna parte quest'anno, poiché stiamo ristrutturando il nostro appartamento, ma abbiamo tutti bisogno di una pausa. Essendo stato estremamente ultimo e il fatto che ci fossero sei di noi che non avevamo molte opzioni, Tor Park aveva messo in comune le recensioni, ma abbiamo scoperto per il prezzo ragionevole che rischieremmo. Siamo rimasti per due notti in due camere familiari, all'arrivo il nostro sat nav ci ha portati direttamente all'hotel. Fortunatamente abbiamo avuto un parcheggio, il check-in ci ha preso un po' di tempo, ma il gentiluomo che ci ha affrontato era amichevole e professionale. Le nostre camere non erano come le foto che gli altri ospiti stanno caricando. Erano pulite, niente era rotto e direi in un stato giusto che è quello che si aspetta di pagare i prezzi che pagano. Le letti erano abbastanza comodi, tutti dormivamo bene. Una stanza era molto calda, ma forniva fan. Andammo a Torquay in entrambi i giorni, che era una passeggiata piacevole, se dovessimo restare da qualche parte a Torquay, certamente pensavamo di tornare.
