Siamo arrivati in hotel per sentirci dire che non eravamo lì perché erano pieni. Dopo una telefonata siamo stati mandati in un hotel convenzionato, ci hanno detto che non eravamo nemmeno lì ma un nuovo appartamento di fronte al mare!!!
La signora che ci ha fatto il check-in ci ha accompagnato all'appartamento, a 5 minuti di distanza, e siamo rimasti molto colpiti!! Abbiamo trascorso una notte meravigliosa lì, così confortevole e lo consigliamo vivamente. È al 4 ° piano, quindi aveva un'ottima vista sul mare. Il parcheggio è sulla strada ovunque tu possa trovare un posto.
La mattina siamo tornati al Four Seasons per un'abbondante colazione gratuita. Dopo la confusione iniziale, siamo rimasti totalmente soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno.

The Glengower is on the front facing the sea with many bar tables outside ready for the sunshine. The hotel staff are friendly and really helpful as are the staff in the bar and restaurant. Our room was on the second floor. It was smartly decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was compact and very clean with modern fittings, all of which worked well. Breakfast is well organised with help yourself cereals, youghart, fruit, jams etc and the cooked items are served quickly on hot plates and nicely presented. We also had dinner twice in their restaurant because there are many interesting dishes on the menu and again the food and service was excellent. There is no lift and parking is on the local streets but those minor aspects should not deter you from having a lovely stay at the Glengower.

Grande casa di ospiti, check-in amico, utile foglio di fattura di posti suggeriti per mangiare e ottenere colazione. Dritto sul fronte con parcheggio immediatamente opposto. Camera confortevole buone attrezzature e doccia eccellente. Mi piace stare in una tavola nella finestra della baia con il mio partner guardando il mare la sera, tutto meglio per i bicchieri di vino corretti forniti dalla casa degli ospiti. Molto consiglia e attenda di rimanere di nuovo lì.

Inizialmente ci siamo prenotati per andare al nuovo anno, ma a causa di un'emergenza familiare abbiamo dovuto riorganizzare, che l'hotel era felice di fare a causa delle circostanze, che apprezziamo molto. Eravamo un po' premurosi per le altre recensioni e, onestamente, solo prenotati come il cane era amichevole, ma ci sorprendevamo molto, abbiamo trovato un parcheggio nel parcheggio molto piccolo, quindi credo che siamo stati molto fortunati a questo proposito. C'era un check-in gratuito e ci fu dato una stanza in un edificio separato, che era idealmente vicino al parcheggio. Una sola scala, la stanza era enorme! E molto caldo. Il letto doppio era più come un super re e il letto singolo era una buona dimensione. Ovunque era pulito e teso. Il bagno era davvero buono e la doccia era potente e calda. L'hotel è a due strade dal mare da una posizione così grande. La mattina dopo, la colazione era bella e calda, e potevamo anche sederci in sala per prendere il cane. Il personale era piacevole e ospitante per tutta la nostra permanenza.

We called yesterday for Sunday lunch while shopping in Aber,we hadn't booked but the barman told us we could have a table for two in the restaurant or the bar,we opted for the bar which had a lovely atmosphere,we both ordered the Sunday roast which was quite reasonable at £13.50 each, we didn't have to wait long until it was served.The food was excellent,fresh and tasty and the staff were very helpful and friendly and the manager couldn't do enough for us.The guiness was probably one of the nicest i've tasted and the price was not too bad at £4.40 a pint which is £1.10 cheaper than the inflated price we pay at our local hotel and pubs down the road in New Quay,we will definitely call again.

This was my fourth return visit to this hotel which is always clean and supported by friendly staff. The accommodation block is set across the car park from the restaurant/pub which means you are not disturbed by noise in the evenings. You can access the hotel without going through the one way system in Aberystwyth if you wish but the centre is still within very easy walking distance. Will be coming again no doubt.
