I have stayed at this hotel before with my wife for a short break. I often come to Falmouth on business and decided this time to stay over rather than do down and back to the Midlands. They did me a very good deal indeed - I arrived late so missed dinner but the check in was so welcoming my ”chitty” was there waiting and I was offered a lift with luggage. Room 228 for the night sadly but understandably not overlooking the sea was lovely very clean and superbly appointed. Breakfast was good lots of staff on duty and as usual nothing was too much trouble. I think the hotel has been refurbed and updated since my last visit - it's presented delightfully and of course has this fabulous position. All in all it was like being wrapped up in an old familiar warm blanket and I will come back as soon as I can.

Ho pagato per due notti per rimanere qui e sono stato pagato $300 anche se mi hanno dato la stanza. Ho dovuto cancellare per un momento due hotel per un'emergenza familiare che si è risolto rapidamente grazie. Quando ho cercato di tornare la mia stanza dopo meno di 24-hours, (a differenza dell'altro hotel) non ho ricevuto una risposta per ore e ho dovuto prenotare altrove per riprenotare la mia tour. Mi dissero infine che avevano già ripreso la mia stanza, ma che avevano un'altra stanza più grande che potevo avere per più soldi. A quel tempo era troppo tardi per cambiare. L'altro hotel di Exeter ha rimborsato tutto il mio denaro, dal momento che la stanza era ripresa. Questo hotel ha fatto $ in entrambi i conti e era pieno. E' davvero in grado di perdere così tanto denaro quando l'hotel era solo invidioso e non aveva denaro affatto. Ho parlato con il manager che ha detto che non poteva fare nulla. Almeno sono rimasto in un posto molto più bello. Un amico della tour mi ha mostrato la sua stanza al piano di sotto - era vecchia, buia e disgustosa. Mi ha ricordato un triste fondale che un studente combattente avrebbe vissuto. Non dovevo voler stare. Aveva una bella stanza luminosa e fresca con una bella decorazione e una vista sull'oceano - per lo stesso prezzo. E lì i miei soldi mi pagavano per una stanza per rimanere!
