I had the misfortune to use this B&B some weeks ago, except that, I am not quite sure you can even call it a B&B. Instead, it is simply a chap, looking to make some extra money on his big house – whilst still wanting to retain the benefits that come with not opening your house to strangers, and paying ones at that. So, here is my warning to anyone interested in renting a room in Leafy Suburban Bed & Breakfast (LSBB). It is in effect a sort of scam that is misleading, and here is why. Do NOT even try and rent this property if… You like B&Bs that are fully transparent in their advertising and you get what you paid for courtesy of your hard earned money You (and anyone that comes with you) do not want to suffer the indignity and embarrassment of having to take off your shoes upon entry (stuff a private owner may demand of you but, a place, intended for public rental changing you also?). I wonder why this is not stated in the his glitzy ads? Because he knows, if he did, nobody would even look at his so-called B&B You want a bit of privacy when using the bathroom/toilet. LSBB advertises its nice looking bathroom/toilet on accommodation seeking websites. What they do not tell you is that, you’ll be sharing with several other tenants. In short, you will need to be dressed appropriately and have to peep out into the corridor each time you wish to use it, to ensure nobody else is using it You like to get what you pay for and get the little things that typically come with a B&B (such as cups or glasses perhaps, coffee making facilities perhaps, etc.). You do not get anything with LSBB – just a small room and nowt else! You want to be close to civilisation such as public transport and some shops maybe. This place is in the middle of nowhere and to even find the place, you had better have a degree in place finding. There are no signs on the long and badly lit road it is on. The lovely looking and spacious kitchen and garden (advertised) are nice, no doubt. However, they are largely for show. During my unfortunate stay there, at NO point was I invited to use either, and although I did not use the kitchen, I have since read on here that, its more one of, it’s all DIY (Do-it-Yourself) in this poor excuse for a B&B. Do not use this property also, if you want to be able to talk (at normal sound levels) in your room whether on the phone or to your companion. We were asked to keep our voice down, which I thought was rather rude. The prices he charges are even MORE than many quality hotels that offer 10 times better service. For one search, he was charging £64 a night whilst many hotels were either the same or less. In short, this is an owner wanting to have his cake and eat it. Someone wanting the best of both worlds. Charge the peasants to have a room in his sumptuous house and keep their money whilst, on the other hand, wanting all the benefits of a private house owner with NO visiting strangers. He needs to understand what letting out an

L'ambiente è tranquillo, pulito,  Nessuno di noi è lontano dalla metropolitana, ma vale la pena vivere. Il personale può facilmente immagazzinare i bagagli gratis e mandarli a secco, e mangiare bene.

Le camere erano spaziose e senza spazi, con decorazione madura in tutto. Il nostro giardino era al secondo piano, e la camera non era cattiva, pulita con letti bianchi di crisp. L'hotel offre colazione come tassa aggiuntiva. Il personale era attento e si è allontanato dal modo in cui ci si trovava a buon agio. Non c'era nulla di troppo disturbo. Purtroppo, non ricordo i nomi dei due membri del personale mentre rimase lì, ma il servizio clienti era impeccabile. Sicuramente consigliere questo hotel per affari o piacere.

Hotel in casa principale molto più bello delle camere da giardino, solo andato alla reception poi in alto, receptionist molto benvenuto. Non molto altro non c'è nessun ginnastica ecc. È tutto bene per fermarsi in

It’s a very nice hotel, good location, and ambiance. I had two beds in my room which was nice. But, I was disappointed with their service, I had to stay at the front desk for a while before o could check in, and this was down to not enough stay working. I couldn’t even buy a cup of coffee because the person serving at the bar was cleaning and couldn’t sell coffee for me first before going back to their cleaning. This was very disappointing for me and made me have a bad impression of the hotel from that point.

Quick booking we arrived at 7pm had to check-in at the reception next door holiday inn very quick and smooth, was confused as its within the hotel itself and opened the doing to a beautiful spacious apartment we bought food from a local restaurant was lovely to eat and use the kitchen with a dishwasher too! The bed was huge but rock hard... the only thing we disliked was the stifling heat absolutely no air and no air conditioning whatsoever! There was a tower fan and a normal fan provided but didn't make any difference whatsoever although it was July it was torrential rain outside English weather so wasn't hot outside I had to have 3 showers and kept having to go outside during the night to get air , didn't have a comfortable sleep whatsoever and tge fans on all night long either side of the bed with the windows open only around a cm because that's as far as they would go, but if there was aircon this would of been my favourite stay ever ,the local shops restaurants and town centre is a 10 min walk away and parking is £8 per night even with a disability badge. Your able to use the facilities in hotel for food and drinks but we used the local restaurants nearby and used the fridge for our own bought alcohol because it was raining outside... staff was above and beyond.

Located near the Watford Junction, in walkable distance to the High Street. Carpark charged at £8 which is very reasonable. Room size is bigger compared to the hotels nearby in on the same street.

Great location next to tube station, 30 mins to central London. Clean, comfy hotel with pleasant staff. Parking is secure at an extra charge. My go to hotel when visiting London.
