La camera era senza spot e ben attrezzata con il letto più confortevole, la camera era grande e ci erano bianche tovaglie (ma non c'erano bagni come descritto), le viste erano magnifiche e era molto vicino a Durham. La zona del soggiorno era bella e accessibile tutto il tempo....Il colazione era stile continentale autoservizio e noi (e l'altro coppia rimanente) caricati e messi sul lavastoviglie che non abbiamo mai fatto in un B&B prima! La camera è all'interno di un conservatore e era così calda. La nostra ultima notte abbiamo chiesto un fan perché non potevamo ottenere una brisa dalla finestra, mentre la porta conservatrice era chiusa la notte. Il fan ha fatto un sonno migliore di notte e suggerisco che le camere ne abbiano una per sempre. Nella conferma e-mail ha detto che le camere degli ospiti non erano garantite senza rumore. Forse un toccamento di un sottovalutazione! Possiamo sentire l’uomo vicino alla porta con un buon vecchio gioiello e se non ci parlavamo, potremmo sentire le loro conversazioni. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Usavamo i nostri buoni BuyAGif per il Natale e, mentre ci siamo fermati una terza notte, abbiamo pagato la differenza di £230! Recently stayed in Durham for work and stumbled across The Townhouse and am I so glad I did! Spectacular place, I stayed in The Jardin which was a very comfortable and stylish room (with a hot tub), after commenting about the room while enjoying a delicious breakfast I was told about some of the others and was lucky enough to be shown another room which had a massive round freestanding bath with a huge TV! Would 100% stay again, June was lovely on reception, made me feel instantly welcome and her enthusiasm was infectious.

Was not my first choice but booked this hotel for my graduation at Durham University since all other hotels are fully booked. The hotel is relatively old but clean and has all the amenities needed (including an iron and the ironing board). Nice and friendly staff at the reception, who kindly assisted with the printing of some documents. Good location because it is within walking distance from the Durham Cathedral and the campus
