Siamo arrivati molto vicini alla fine del servizio nel ristorante, ma sono stati molto accolti. Il personale era amichevole, informativo e attento, mentre abbiamo persone intolleranti al caelio e al glutine nel nostro party. Il nostro unico vero disappunto. Dopo aver offerto i prodotti di glutine come pesci e chip e dopo aver cercato di rendere la batteria libera di glutine, poi cucinarlo in modo stupido nello stesso frigo come altri prodotti di glutine. Il personale si è reso conto rapidamente e giustamente anche questo ci renderebbe malati. Il vostro personale potrebbe offrire chips per diversi pasti, mentre li cucinavano attentamente nel forno. Un piccolo frigo frigo di glutine separato o addirittura un frigo di aria isolato vi darebbe così tante opzioni aggiuntive per offrire ai vostri clienti. So che la farina di glutine è più costosa ma acquistata in bulk, potrebbe essere usata per tanti pasti, aprire nuovamente la scelta per i clienti allergici e così attrarrli al vostro ristorante. Come con pesce/chips tutti i clienti potrebbero mangiarla. Non perdere gusto. E la farina utilizzata in quantità aggiungerebbe penny o frazioni di penny al costo del pasto. Attraversi le persone che soffrono di allergia, si porta anche a tutte le loro famiglie e amici e si guadagna una reputazione per trarre nella loro custodia e diffondere la parola che si cura particolarmente bene per le persone che soffrono di allergia, nonché offrire una varietà di buona qualità cibo delizioso, Spero che apprezzi questo feedback perché mi piacerebbe tornare come atmosfera, posizione e servizio è stato eccellente

Lovely hotel and spa . Only let down was the car park attached to hotel only has one way in , no exit very very dangerous there was four of us grid locked inside it. Lucky we were all good drivers and managed to exit . There is a public one outside , but hotel car park is very limited and dangerous hardly any room inside , weird old shape and reverse driving more than forward . Hotel are cash less and there attitude was.... ah na , sorry cashless system . Shop up road. that's all they could offer don't give a dam how you park. Also took 160 deposit and will return sometime after. At later date. That was the real letdown reception staff.. .. not my problem attitude was poor. While the people that did get in hotel carpark was lucky to pay at reception off there deposit. Such poor service for such a lovely hotel. Apart from that the rest good.

Amazing. I love this place so much. It's not a far walk from the train station so when I got in late at night it was quick to walk to. The bed was so comfortable. I don't know if I was just jetlagged or what because once I hit that mattress and those pillows, I instantly fell asleep. I was just so cozy. It felt like I was staying in a friend's home. The staff was so wonderful. I felt bad, I was just this clueless American hot off the plane and didn't know what was going on. They were so patient, kind, and accommodating. I loved chatting with them. The pub downstairs was an experience to behold. This is a pub I would hang out at. I wish I could have stayed longer so that I COULD hang out at the pub more. The breakfast that was included was delicious. I can't speak any better words as to how wonderful my stay at the Westgate was. I just wished I took more pictures of it!

The hotel is well located in the centre of town however parking and access by car was a big problem; we had to park a mile away. Our room (and those of other travellers) wasn't ready on arrival. The room was in the main building; the bed was comfortable and the room had usual amenities. The shower was a little dated. We used the bar which was comfortable although overly busy due to two large parties booked in for events that evening. The bartender, Micky, coped really well with the large number of customers from the events. Breakfast included a good choice of hot and cold options and service was good. We felt the hotel tariff was over-priced even allowing that we visited for the Christmas market in December.

We have just got home after having our wedding at the hotel, staying the night before and the night after, having breakfast each morning. Overall, we were delighted with the experience although there were some minor issues along the way, all of which were resolved. We started the wedding planning with the hotel in January, booking rooms and so forth. Between then and our wedding there were changes in staff that led to some issues but these were resolved swiftly by Louise, the hotel manager who was very proactive and efficient. The process of arranging the civil ceremony, the flowers, photography and cake was simpler because the suppliers all knew and had worked with the hotel beforehand. Communication at this level was really good. The choosing of menus and food was straightforward and we were able to customise with no problems. Come the day and everyone was impressed by the hotel team. We have to mention and praise Sennen, Minty and Izzy who worked non-stop to keep us and our three dozen guests fed and watered. We had the service in the Lombard Room which was light and airy with a lunchtime buffet in that room and dinner in the Winery, as well as post service drinks and canapes before the buffet. The chefs did a great job for both the lunchtime buffet and the evening sit down meal. Food arrived promptly and hot. The wines were generally praised as well as the food. Breakfasts were universally praised. You have to appreciate that this is a Georgian, listed building so there are constraints on what can be done. We were at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet. I found the air conditioning controls less than intuitive (an instruction sheet would be useful) and its always a shame when windows can’t be opened. We were delighted with the whole experience and would have no problems recommending the hotel for a wedding venue. If you want just a cheap bed for the night, then it isn’t going to win that competition. But that is not what this hotel is about and if you recognise that, then we think you will enjoy it.

Il personale era di prima classe, gentile, ben addestrato e utile. Un cambiamento totale ad altri hotel che abbiamo provato in città. Molto consigliato se si desidera essere curati e guardati brillantemente.
