Sadly not a good experience for us. Have tried on three occasions to discuss with the hotel, one whilst on site and was assured by Reception that the Operations Manager would contact me, I’ve filled out a generic form and emailed directly- still no response! Room 154 upon arrival had large brown stains on ceiling and bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Water marks on tiles, floor, glass & mirror. Dusty & very marked floor. The towel rail needed a good clean. Bar area chaotic even though not particularly busy. We were happy to take our own drinks outside was told we will bring them to you. Waited 15 mins & had to return to bar as they had forgot our order. Staff admitted they forgot us and still had to wait at the bar for ages for them to sort. Finally given drinks only to be given the wrong wine. Arrived at Restaurant for our booked dinner at 6pm. It was not set for dinner and looked pretty hectic with the staff doing the best they could to get things straight. Even though staff very sweet it looked as though Management were missing and lots of new staff were not sure on what to do. Managed to order food but no one asked for our drink order - we had to flag a waiter to get a drink ordered. Our main course was forgotten! After an hour from finishing starter we asked ‘how long for main course?’ Told kitchen had lost our order. Looking round the restaurant think other diners were waiting for various courses too. We really wished we had not paid for our dinner upfront with our booking. The worst thing about our stay was room 154 in the Stables is next to an extremely noisy plant room adjacent to the building. The constant noise from machinery sounds like you have air con on in your room full pelt. Resulting in myself having to wear ear plugs and my husband not being able to sleep. On our experience I would not recommend this hotel - such a shame as grounds and main hotel are lovely.

Mi sentivo malato a casa da Cambridge, e dovevo fermarmi alla Break Welcome. Anche se lì, mi rendei conto che non potevo continuare il mio viaggio, perché non ero abbastanza bene da guidare. Ero fortunato che il Days Inn fosse con vista. Ho passato un po' di tempo a Cambridge, a un letto e colazione molto mediocre, e mi sono sorpreso e sollevato alle tariffe molto ragionevoli di Days Inn, la semplice qualità e comfort della stanza, ma soprattutto quanto Joe fosse estremamente utile alla ricezione. Al di sopra e al di là della chiamata di dovere, andò a cercare un po’ di ghiaccio per la mia gamba molto gonfia, e portò un coperchio per il mio letto, come mi sentivo sventurato e freddo. Sono così felice di aver deciso di rimanere in casa, perché non l'avrei fatto a casa in sicurezza. La mattina seguente, ancora in dolore, ma pronto a guidare a casa, ancora una volta c'era un grande servizio dal receptionista di notte di Skift Sanjeev. Certamente, cercherò un Days Inn se, in futuro, devo rimanere in un hotel a prezzi ragionevoli, e sarò deluso se non c'è uno in quella vicinanza!

This is such a beautiful building, with all the features you would expect from an older establishment. It has an excellent location within walking distance to town. Food is delicious and varied. However, the real excellence is the dedication, hard work and attention to detail that every single member of staff take to make you as welcome and comfortable as possible. Everyone we encountered was ready with a smile. On a personal note, The Lismoyne have just hosted our wedding and we couldn't be happier. They accommodated our requests without hesitation and easily made this an amazing experience, for both us and all of our guests. Big thanks to one and all but especially Kim and Sheila.

Ottimo ubicazione, personale molto amichevole. La stanza era molto pulita, la doccia era grande! Colazione inclusa nello alloggio che includeva una serie di cibo decente, hanno anche dovuto “Andare” bagagli e tazze che pensavo fosse un bel toccaggio! Perfetto per un viaggio d'affari!

Ho dovuto salire su un piccolo cazzo nel bagno della mia stanza. Il sedile del bagno era libero e scorreva fuori il buco quando mi sedevo su di esso. L’ho riparato, che era sgradevole, ma piuttosto facile. Il giorno dopo che la stanza era stata pulita, era di nuovo rotta. Il puliziatore lo sa, ma non si preoccupano di risolverlo. È un po' troppo difficile per il personale. Hai qualche grido? No, signore, ridendo gentilmente a se stesso, abbiamo venduto. Il giorno dopo? La stessa risposta. Le notti che ho soggiornato coincidono con due grandi funzioni: uno sembrava una festa di compagnia, l'altro era un matrimonio, e quindi non c'era mobili nella maggior parte dei luoghi pubblici. Il bar aveva otto sedie a disposizione di tutti gli ospiti dell'hotel che non erano parte della funzione. Due strati in trappola. Uno scappava. Non era stato sostituito - ancora una volta, l'uomo gentile rideva sembrava pensare che fosse una richiesta risibile. La colazione - meno diceva meglio. Il cibo era buono, ma il problema era la quantità. C'era una tazza o pomodori grigliati, alcuni uova scramblete e tre marroni di hash in tazze, su un buffet. Circa sei persone fame che si spostavano intorno, aspettando il rifornimento. Dopo cinque minuti, usciranno alcuni salsicce. Cinque minuti dopo, alcuni salsicce. Quindi la gente si carica e lascia. Ora non ci sono marroni di hash, nessun salsicce, nessun bacon, nessun fungo, nessun bacon. Cinque minuti dopo arrivano alcuni salsicce. Sembra impossibile servirti un colazione pieno dal buffet se non vuoi aspettare per 30 minuti. Il personale sembra di 16 anni e non ha idea di cosa fare - non si sente giusto lamentarsi a loro. E'la cucina che non può tenersi in piedi. Tu cammini nell'hotel e l'intero posto non puzza bene - vapore, strano, impuro.
