The room was spacious and comfy beds. It comes with free breakfast, which is good. Breakfast was alright, the same food every morning. The only thing that lets us down is one of the staff in the restaurant. We sat there for ages waiting to be served. Because he won't be serving us not until 8pm. So we've waited patiently, because we have just arrived that night and was very hungry. This man was serving other people, but not us. So my husband and I were wondering what's going on. So my husband went to the till and queued up. But when it's my husband's turn, he asked, ”Who's next?? Obviously, my husband was in front of him. Then, when my husband asked if we could order now, he looked at him and me and saying ”Oh, just wait to your table, and I will get your order from there. . Maybe because I am the only Asian there. I feel like there's a bit of racism to be honest. We went back to our table and waited to be served again. But he didn't turn up and served the next table beside and served some other customer who came after us. I was so mad and upset. But I don't want cause a scene. So we we just went out and looked for another restaurant outside the hotel. We're so disappointed, and we didn't expect to be treated like that. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I just forgot his name. But the one at the restaurant is not nice at all. He ruined our family holiday. We won't be coming back anymore there.

It was wonderful getting away from crowded city life's usual hustle and bustle. The welcoming sight of horses grazing across the road, farm buildings from the Middle Ages, and a stable brought forth the welcoming farm-home atmosphere. I loved the quiet, the people minding their own business, and the staff recognizing each individual visitor for who they are—cherished guests! I will surely visit again.

Absolutely spotless and finished to a high standard. Decor is modern and appealing throughout. Staff are helpful. Lovely restaurant and fantastic coffee served there. The only slight issue I would say, is that you can hear guests in the next room very easily and this isn’t desirable for obvious reasons. We sadly ended up with very noisy guests in the room next to us the first night we stayed and this caused considerable disruption to our sleep pretty much all night. Saying this, we didn’t notify the staff though (so they may have been able to help) as there was no phone in the room. The next night was fine and completely silent so this would be dependent on who you have staying near you.

Ho dovuto pagare 20 sterline di surcharge per i miei cani e non sono stati ammessi nel ristorante - che è molto ragionevole, ma devo dire che erano meglio comportati che gli altri animali che non erano obbligati a pagare alcun surcharge o non obbligati a seguire qualsiasi norma di base in materia di comportamento. In occasione del check-out, non mi è stato nemmeno chiesto se avessi un piacevole soggiorno, ma suppongo che il personale non volesse confermare la loro cattiva gestione. Se questo è il tipo di stabilimento usato ma Trip.com, allora posso solo dire che le prime impressioni vanno da un lungo cammino e in futuro mi aderisco ad altri broker alberghieri.
