On arrival, the hotel sort of looks very grand but as you walk in you’re back in the 80s. I’m guessing the hotel hasn’t been decorated since then, it’s very outdated and could do with some refurbishment. The reception staff were very nice and check in was easy. The room itself was again, very outdated but I can’t fault the cleanliness it was pretty much spotless and the beds were very comfy. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room too which is always an added bonus. I did have an issue with the TV not working on the first night and reception did move our room for us, but it probably would have been easier just to swap the tv? Nonetheless, we were grateful for him solving the issue so quickly. The welcome booklet in the room is really (I mean REALLY) detailed, down to describing the carpets in the corridors. I think if the bar didn’t charge £7 for a bottle of kopparberg, the bar area would have a few more guests in having drinks. The lake view was nice from the bar but again not worth sitting out there for the price of the drinks. We didn’t eat anything so can’t comment on the quality of food but the menu looked quite expensive. All in all I’d stay again as it’s close to the venue we visit but it seriously needs an update if there are to be more than four guests staying at once across the hotel.

La moglie ci ha prenotato per tornare e come si aspettava, eccellente servizio e bel hotel. Hotel è fresco e moderno E' certamente uno dei miei hotel preferiti di marchio. E non si disapprova mai. Le camere sono eccellenti bellissime e il personale fresco è stato molto accogliente, mia moglie ha deciso di portare un bicchiere di vino nella stanza e lo ha sprecato sul letto. Le due giovani ragazze che si occupavano di casa erano più che felici di cambiare il letto per noi e ha fatto tutto al massimo. Allo stesso tempo, non c'era nulla di molto problema per loro! Il personale di ginnastica e il personale di ristorante sono anche esemplificanti. La cena era eccellente. Guardando in attesa di rimanere di nuovo.

Farnborough is an odd place in that we never found if there was a shopping area! The Falcon hotel is near the [private] airport but is not affected by it to any degree. The hotel has had mixed reviews and there is much to commend it. The staff and reception are friendly and the rooms and general surroundings are spotlessly clean. Of course the individual arrangements will influence any review; some rooms might be better and some worse. We had what is described as a superior room and it is difficult to identify any features to deserve that. The room had a large bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and a small desk. It was crowded and cramped. There was one chair [not an armchair] so nowhere comfortable to sit to watch TV. The bed was comfortable if a little low for me with a duvet [which had been tucked in, why?]. My main beef about the bedroom is that the curtains did not black out the light so the room was light by about 400am. Why do hotels not realise how essential this is for comfort. The bathroom was OK except that the door would not stay closed. The toilet was cramped and the seat was loose [needs a special fitting] and the shower which is over the bath was difficult to use as the taps took only a quarter turn from ”off” to ”full on”. There is a safely handle to aid getting in and out which is vital. Breakfast is served in a spacious and spotless restaurant with fresh linen table cloths. The diner fills in a small sheet with choices which was fine. The price is reasonable - about £85 for a double with breakfast.

Struttura molto curata e bella , a cinque minuti dall’aeroporto . Personale molto professionale e gentile . Nella mia lunga sosta ho provato tutti e tre i servizi di ristorazione . Al piano terra si trova un pub con circa una ventina di posti a sedere . La responsabile è veramente simpatica e molto professionale . Nello stesso piano si trova il ristorante . Anche in questo il personale è attento alle esigenze dei clienti . Nello stesso , alla mattina viene servita la colazione , molto ricca . Al primo piano , si può mangiare allo SkyBar . Il menù è identico a quello del pub . La mia camera molto bella con vista aeroporto , per niente rumorosa . Peccato una sola cosa ma a mio parere molto importante … le pulizie sono state veramente inesistenti ( vedi foto ) . A parte il bagno sempre pulito la camera è stata trascurata . Il cambio lenzuola , forse è stato fatto una sola volta . Ma la cosa più fastidiosa è stata la polvere … Ci ritornerò sicuramente con la speranza che il personale delle pulizie sia stato ripreso , se non fosse stato per loro avrei dato il massimo del voto , peccato !

Breakfast was the only good part. Originally booked this hotel as it took dogs and didn't end up taking the dog in the end. It had really good reviews and two rooms available. One for me and my husband and another for my mother. Checked in via the door code given. We were upstairs to the front of the property. As I was upstairs I heard a voice downstairs from a male who at the time shouted up are you OK. I now know that male to be the owner. To which I replied yes I'm collecting items from my car. He never introduced himself so I assumed he was a guest. Went straight out to visit family and came in about 9pm. Tried to have a shower and it wouldn't turn on. Probably due to the limescale build up and even my husband couldn't get it switched on. The room as per the pictures was old fashioned and the carpets were well stained all over. There was cobwebs on the ceilings that hadn't been touched in years and on the side lights as per the pictures. The single paned windows which were all wooden. Well only 1 opened and they need some tlc as paint was coming off and some wd40 needed for the one that opened. Old wooden furniture and a fan that looked like something from the war. Bottles in the bathroom not labelled and other people's hair on tiles and bath floor. Plus mould all over the bathroom ceiling. Not a good night's sleep with boy racers and moped flying up and down the road. On ********** it says the hotel has soundproofing which it doesn't. The following day went down for breakfast and my husband made the male owner aware to see if we could move to a back bedroom. The husband refused and said that he didn't believe we would be happy anywhere. He was very argumentative and aggressive and that was before I mentioned how dirty the room was. One minute he said that I was lying about the noise as he stayed there. Then next minute he changed his mind and said that he only occasionally stays here. He mentioned that he has cleaners in and by the state of our room I would sack them. Stayed for breakfast which was the only nice thing about the hotel. Ended up leaving after that night and found a clean hotel. My mums room was nice but again single panelled glass windows so she didn't get a good night's sleep. Would I recommend this hotel definitely not as the owner doesn't agree with anything you say and at one point I thought he was going to assault my husband who was just trying to see if another room was available. Pay abit more and go to a better hotel where they will lookafter you. Only positive was after the owner calmed down was he gave us a refund and we found a better hotel. So if you do stay here don't give him any negative feedback because you will be wrong!

Would not recommend staying here had a later check in at 9pm and the reception staff were rude and unhelpful. The room were nice but the beds are very hard and the pillows had no support your head just hit the mattress so this resulted in a awful nights sleep then down to breakfast not the best to be honest plain old cooked breakfast but not much else. For an expensive posh hotel I expected more.

Absolutely great weekend, very nice stay. Food was good from the main menu, breakfast sausages weren't our favorites :D Special mention to the girl/lady on friday(30th/06), she reeeeeeeeeally helped me out, i had a big trouble, ha-ha. Also must mention Prabin? (Sorry i left the card what you gave) to serving us for 2 nights with a very kind and professional manner. (He was working friday, saturday nights, make sure he will know that he made us feel good.) Thabks for everything.
