Booked this hotel through “my hotel breaks.com” on a B&B basis. When we arrived the reception staff were very helpful at check-in and we had free parking for 24 hours. Room was big bright with en-suite and plenty of storage. There are enough portals for mobile phones and lights for reading. The bed was very comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. We were able to have a coffee with biscuits first thing before going down stairs for breakfast. The breakfast room is light and airy and the breakfast food was lovely, staff were so helpful and attentive in the breakfast room and we both had plenty to eat before setting off for a day in Dundee and Broughty ferry. Thank you Queens Hotel we will be back 😀

On checking in, we were listed as room only when it was B&B with an email to confirm this. We were allocated room 123 but found it already occupied when we got there, fortunately there was nobody in the room at the time. Reception were apologetic and gave us room 134, a further 2 flights of stairs for my arthritic knees to contend with. When I attempted to iron a shirt, the ironing board completely fell apart and I had to place the board across a chair - I reported it and a replacement was in the room after dinner. We then discovered the TV didn't work 'no signal' came on the screen. I informed Reception the next morning and was assured it would be fixed. Returning to our room after 4pm the TV still was not working and we phoned Reception who sent somebody up after about 20 mins. He was no more successful than us but reassured us that we could watch You Tube if we liked. He gave a ludicrous explanation that the aerial couldn't cope with the demands of all guests TVs and mobile phones. The next morning having washed my hair, I switched on the hair dryer which worked for about 5 seconds then stopped but made some alarming noises so I switched it off to avoid any potentially fatal mishap. On checking out, a half hearted apology was the best the Receptionist could offer. A letter of complaint to the Manager has gone unanswered after 10 days but I'm sure the adverse nature of this review will provoke a response.

Ho recentemente prenotato questo posto per il servizio funerale e il tè di mio padre, e mentre l'hotel stesso era bellissimo e la cena era eccellente, purtroppo ci sono stati problemi con il servizio bar che hanno messo un po' di abbattimento. L'hotel era bellissimo e la qualità della catering non poteva essere sbagliata, ma un membro del personale del bar, in particolare, si è sposato il giorno con la sua atteggiamento non professionale. Egli si rifiutò di servirmi perché ho cercato di comprare una bevanda per il mio nipote di vent'anni che ha presumibilmente sbagliato era sotto i 18 anni. Sebbene comprenda l'importanza di rispettare le restrizioni all'età, questo membro del personale è stato brutto e si è rifiutato di servirmi, per me stesso o per qualsiasi altro membro della mia famiglia, molto più di 18 anni. Questo è stato ritenuto inutile e disrespecto in un giorno così significativo per la nostra famiglia. Grazie a Dio, la gestione superiore ha intrapreso e risolto la questione, che apprezziamo molto, ma una tale esperienza deludente e evitabile in un luogo diversamente bello.

Siamo stati in una camera doppia, privata, condivisa, bagno condiviso. La stanza era pulita e spaziosa, con un letto confortevole e un radiatore di lavoro, potevamo regolare. Non c'era TV, ma buon WiFi nella stanza. Ci sono molte bagni nell'edificio, quindi non era nemmeno un problema, e sono sempre puliti e ben riforniti con la rulla di loo. La posizione è eccellente - nel centro di Dundee, e abbiamo visto la strada alta. La cucina era l'unica cosa fastidiosa: ci sono sempre 3 o 4 persone, qualunque sia il tempo in cui siamo entrati, e quasi sempre persone che vivono e lavorano all'ostello, piuttosto che ospiti. Ciò significava che cucinavano ”mangiare bene”, piuttosto che cose semplici che si aspettavano dai bagagli o dai viaggiatori, e che dovevamo lavarci le pannole, eccetera, prima di mangiare, se qualcuno li avesse bisogno. Erano studenti internazionali o persone anziane.Sarebbe meglio se il personale avesse la propria cucina, perché la cucina non è grande - c'è una caldaia, una microonde, un tostapane. Ci sono due forni e due cuochi, ciascuno con quattro forni. Ci sono segni di lavaggio, asciugatura e smaltimento, ma le scarpe di legno non sono ”secchi” con un asciugamano, quindi sono in assenza nei cavi. Se non possono fare una cucina separata per il personale, Suggerirei di aggiungere alcuni semplici apparecchi a una delle molte camere da letto, come una caldaia, un tostapane e una microonde, per almeno poter prendere il colazione rapidamente senza lavorare in modo brutto intorno a tutti in cucina.

Bello hotel, la decorazione è molto stile, la stanza è buona, ma la vista fuori dalla finestra è un po'scura.Il servizio della ricetta è buono, è stato gestito in anticipo, in generale è buono.

The room is really nice but the location is just a short walk and there are buses going to the train station. The staff could be a bit friendlier to be honest. Breakfast is good selection . But they will ask you for 50 pounds deposit which I was not aware of as I booked pre-paid here on trip.com. Will defo stay there again. The down side is only shower but no bath tub for this kind of room as a suite .

Un posto davvero bello per stare mentre scopri Dundee. Un posto meraviglioso vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e alla stazione di autobus Seagate, a soli 4-6 min passeggiata. La stanza era abbastanza buona con tutte le strutture essenziali per stare in piedi e era grande e confortevole per un grande relax.

Il hotel Dundee- Hotel è stato a pochi passi dal centro della città, il personale era carino e molto utile, e la stanza era grande e senza spazi. Le colazioni erano molto belle, anche noi siamo riusciti a ordinare cibo caldo dal menu, e si è goduto di tutto quello che si può mangiare buffet continentale. In generale, consiglierei questo hotel per un soggiorno a Dundee.

Another pleasant stay in the Landmark, the only downside is the spa changing rooms they could do with a little refreshment. The hotel could be warmer in the public area’s but that is my opinion.
