Excellent hostel! Great common self-catering facilities; there were two full kitchens with plenty of tables and seating so multiple parties could be cooking at a time. Staff were very helpful and let me leave my bag before check-in and after check-out to accommodate my bus times. The room (4-bunk female dorm) was very spacious so plenty of room for sorting through my bags. Bunk was large and included a USB plug and power outlet there. Room had large attached shower and toilet rooms.

We stayed here for a long weekend and had a much better experience than other people who have left reviews. We stayed in room 14 and everything felt brand new (may have been done recently.) The walls are thin, but other guests all went to bed at a reasonable time so we slept really well. The location is great for a base to explore Loch Ness. Would definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you for your warm welcome!

Non ci sono poche camere in un hotel, un po'come un popolo, come vivere in una casa rurale inglese.La stanza non è grande. Ci sono cose da fare. La casa non ha elettricità e il bagaglio deve essere spostato.Nel commento precedente, non c'è acqua calda, l'hotel può essere stato trasformato, ora l'acqua calda è piena e la pressione idrica è grande. La cena è un problema, la posizione del ristorante dell'hotel non è stata prenotata raramente e si ferma a pranzo alle 8:45.Guardando che c'è un ristorante cinese vicino, in realtà è un negozio di vendita al dettaglio cinese, non lontano da camminare, e la coppia di capo è fatta di cucina cinese. Abbiamo risolto la cena con la loro tavola. E'un piacere conoscere i suoi compagni nella sua città!

My travel companion and I have tried to ‘find fault’ with any element of our stay and have failed. So, the only comment is that it would be nice to have fresh milk (perhaps in an insulated container?). Moot point for us as we don’t actually take milk. Jaro and the team provided amazing service and hospitality. My expectations were extremely high as I’ve wanted to stay here since I was a child and saw the lodge from a boat on Loch Ness. That expectation was fulfilled!

La stanza è molto piccola!!! La colazione è buona!Ma se il tempo è troppo lungo, il tempo di prepararsi per uscire in pensione influenzerà un po'. Vivere solo una notte è accettabile!Il negozio di regali è pieno di stili!

Located five minutes outside of Drumnadrochit, but the owner gave us excellent directions and we found it without a problem. You do need to drive to find somewhere to eat (and there’s very limited choice in the evenings), but the owners recommended the Loch Ness Inn which we dropped in to before arrival and the food and beer were excellent Warm friendly welcome by the lady of the house, showed us around and explained everything. Room was excellent – very spacious and all controlled by Amazon Echo (including the heating). View from our window was across Loch Meiklie and there were even binoculars in the room for a better view. Coffee / tea making facilities with an array of snacks to help ourselves to if we wanted. Bathroom was great with large walk in shower. Bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental only, but it was stunning. Wide range of pastries, cereal, fruit etc with a selection of cold meats and different cheeses – one of our favourite breakfasts of our two weeks in Scotland. The hosts Stu and his wife were first class – excellent conversation over breakfast Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in this part of the country.
