We attended a wedding reception there and thought this looked as wonderful place to stay as well and so booked a room. We duly arrived at the hotel at approx. 4 o'clock and was looking forward to using the pool and the spa facilities. So we arrived at reception, to book into our room. All seemed good with the reception staff initially but as we booked in, all went quiet and the lady, asked us to wait for a minute, while she made a call. Bearing in mind, we arrived late, as you can book in from 3pm, we just thought that she was sorting out the room. 10 or so minutes passed and she came back saying the room was not ready. I said, well if it is not, please put us in a room that is, to which she replied, none of the rooms in out area were available at this time, as the housekeeping were running late due to, delays in checkouts. Bearing in mind it was now 4:40pm, I asked to speak to the manager. She said, go to the bar and I will call you as and when the room became available. I then unfortunately became more upset and insisted in speaking the manager. After a further 20 0r so minutes and the receptionist, going off to find him. he arrived, with little or no sympathy. He offered not apology initially but eventually accepted the fault. He then went into reception and I m not sure where this room came from but we were given the key. this was at 5:30pm, so we had been there for an hour and a half and had only just been given a key. We thought that at least we could got in there and have a little time for a swim before the reception but unfortunately, this was far from finished . When we entered the room, it was horrendous, ceiling looking as if it had had a leak, stains all over the floor, water marks all over the carpet and a view of a wall outside the window and a timber sheet to the left hand side. By this time, my wife was very upset, as was I but, I was also very angry. I went back to the reception and spoke with a different receptionist and explained the issues. All he could do was apologise and gave us an alternate room straight away, It was smaller but ok, so we moved. By this time approx. 6:15pm, it was too late to use any of the facilities and so we got changed and went to the reception. We had a great night with friends. As to the hotel/estate however, we will NEVER return.

Tutto ciò che serve per un soggiorno di notte con un bel colazione cucinato al mattino.

Io e mio marito sono appena tornati da un meraviglioso soggiorno di una notte a The Grove. In primo luogo, grazie a Alex Bowman, Monika e Mia per aver organizzato il nostro grande soggiorno per il mio compleanno, e dopo la festa dopo aver legato il nodo alla fine dell'anno scorso dopo 33 anni. C'è un'ottima approccio al complesso hotel attraverso il prestigioso campo da golf, e all'arrivo abbiamo ricevuto un caldo benvenuto alla reception, e congratulazioni da Ioan ( scuse per la scrittura) che ci ha controllato e spiegato dove tutto era. Hotel bellissimo con decorazione deliziosa. La nostra camera è stata anche fantasticamente arredata con vista sui giardini splendidi . Dopo la disimballaggio, abbiamo vaporizzato e bubble le nostre cure alla stanza a vapore e al jacuzzi nella elegante Sequoia Spa situato nel terreno dell'hotel. Sentindoci freddi, siamo tornati nella nostra stanza per preparare una cena eccitante a The Glasshouse. (Ho esaminato questa esperienza sulla pagina Glasshouse) C'era un piccolo trattamento di cioccolato e carta di compleanno felice in camera nostra, pensandomi lasciato per me, che era un bel gesto. Dopo un buon pranzo, siamo tornati nella nostra stanza per sbatterci, solo per trovare che la fata era stata la volta in basso, e abbiamo messo a punto e rinfrescato la nostra stanza pronta per il nostro ritorno. Dopo aver dormito una notte molto tranquilla, ci svegliamo per la gioia di sapere che abbiamo avuto colazione per guardare di nuovo in Glasshouse. Dopo un altro delizioso pasto, purtroppo abbiamo dovuto prepararci per tornare a casa. Abbiamo avuto un caldo addio al check-out da Kiri e Nishat. Viviamo quasi tre ore, ma la mia buona volontà era di visitare questo posto. Grazie tante a tutti i team di lavoro molto duro a The Grove, che si assicurano che i loro ospiti hanno un vero soggiorno di qualità. Fino alla prossima volta. Prendi cura di tutti.
