Hotel fantastico con grande personale.Le camere dell'hotel sono senza spot e con tutto quello che ti serve.Il cibo è stato fantastico, così come il servizio e anche ben situato per visitare Keswick.Personalmente ho pensato che fosse sotto prezzo e avrebbe pagato di più.Parla al manager e al manager. altri dipendenti che erano molto amichevoli e di aiuto.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in una classica più camera. Bella stanza, ma niente di speciale. Avevamo una bella vista sulle montagne. Purtroppo, nella stanza poteva essere aperta solo una piccola finestra, ma fortunatamente c'era anche un ventilatore. L'hotel dispone di un buon bar e un sacco di spazio dove si può sedersi. Nel bel tempo anche terrazza fuori con splendida vista. Buon colazione. Ci sono molti membri del personale che si girano intorno a ciò che è amichevole, ma spesso può essere un po' attento. Abbiamo mangiato 3 notti nel ristorante. Buona cena e grandi porzioni. Hotel è una buona base per una passeggiata/vacanza di passeggiata. Hotel è sicuramente consigliabile.

I cannot say enough postive things about Armathwaite Hall......... What a welcome we received last Saturday - Wow ! A group of 25 Supercars ( Bumblebee1000) doing a driving tour of The Lakes, whilst supporting ' Little Blue Heroes', stopped for Lunch at this fabulous Lakeside Hotel & Spa. The welcome was something special :- Cars all parked efficiently on the doorstep. Group photograph taken for us. A Superb 3 course lunch over looking Bassenthwaite Lake. The staff service was second to none, such a professional, attentive and friendly group of people. We were made so so welcome by Richard and his wonderful team, their attention to detail and passion to deliver an excellent experience for their guests was very much appreciated by all. Simply perfect and memorable. Thank you

On arrival in the pouring rain 3.45pm door to inn was locked, knocked on the door and lady shouted we are closed, come back at 4pm, 15mins? I said we are staying she said we are not ready. Ok! But no apologies just a bit rude, so we went for a coffee Came back after meeting up with my young family, my son and fiancé and 2 boys 3&5, my daughter 7 months pregnant husband and toddler 2 We requested a table for dinner and after some discussion were shown to the family side of the inn, very nice. We checked into our room while the family settled in to order for kids so not too late(5.30) Ordered drinks and a full family meal for 6 adults 3 kids which was lovely kids well behaved, at 6.30 popped upstairs with the toddler and boys to put PJs on. they were staying at the camp site 5 mins away that’s why we booked the Trout beck Inn, to be close to them just down the rd We had just finished dinner and the weather had changed to strong winds, so bad there was a weather warning announcement, we asked could we book 2 more rooms and were told no! although they were available they couldn’t access the booking system? So we suggested we booked tonight and paid tomorrow as weather so bad to go back to camp site with the kids Still no compromise a NO I total understand policy and procedures but this was handled all wrong even a phone call could have been made to possibly get permission surely it’s about sales! And filling rooms So we suggested my daughter pregnant and the toddler stay in our room and we would stay at camp! For their safety Again we were told NO toddler not insured? Ok understand but to say no to my day couldn’t stay 7 months pregnant, ridiculous and unacceptable ……morning - We were told on arrival please fill in Your breakfast form the night before and with all the fuss with room request and bad weather getting everyone out safely we forgot , so in the morning - breakfast served 8-9am on website, We asked at 8.30 if we could have some breakfast and lady said NO you didn’t fill in your form ! Honestly ridiculous attitude, we were told - We cook to order and buy in per order the night before ? Really So I’m not sure how that works for an Inn who can provide full evening menus unannounced but breakfast is a no go! How can a property who is providing accommodation and food as a service not have eggs, bacon, sausage,mushrooms or even cereals etc on site. 🤔 She did eventually offer toast but not with a smile Just unbelievable service and attitude, I can say one man from the bar helped by getting ice for us when the lady said she didn’t have any left so thank you to that gentleman. Seems so short sighted that the Inn itself is lovely rooms are good, but the rest is all desperately disappointing and unacceptable front of house service was uncaring and just not guest friendly really let the Inn down. A lovely warm welcome at this stunning location was what I and my daughter experienced Aug 2024. The house and gardens are beautiful. The room was really beautiful. Warm decor made a really cosy feel. Its the little touches which actually set this stay above the rest. Real milk for the fridge, bathrobes to borrow and fluffy towels. The breakfast was delicious with a huge choice. It was so well presented and tasted amazing!

Fantastico piccolo Inn. Rimase per una notte tra le attività del distretto del lago in onore e buttermere. Circa 30 minuti di auto da entrambi. Sulla strada dal lago bassenthwaite che era perfetto per rifrire dopo un giorno attivo. Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera 25 che era deliziosa! Perfetta per una famiglia di quattro. Bello piccolo giardino comunale con un banco piquenico. Parcheggio facile. Personale carino, e cibo era grande! Sicuramente tornerà!

We had a stopover here on the way from Scotland to Lake District, and we were impressed by the rustic and peaceful environment, as well as the charming vine-covered buildings. Our room was clean, and WiFi was good (considering that we were in the countryside). The breakfast, included in our room rate, was excellent, with generous servings. Try not to bring too much luggage when staying here, as there is no lift in the building and there are multiple doors along the corridors and stairs. The price here is very competitive, compared to hotels in the Lake District.
