Without a shadow of a doubt this is the finest , cleanest and friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at . The food was varied and ample to say the least . Well cooked well presented and tasty . All of the staff and entertainment went above and beyond what we expected to guarantee our stay was enjoyable. The cleaning staff deserve a special mention keeping our room well serviced and fresh . This hotel is even more appealing as it is still independently owned by the Clifford family and has an interesting and inspiring back history . It is in an ideal position to visit nearby attractions throughout the area . Cannot recommend highly enough ! Well done all for maintaining the excellent standard and level of hospitality originally set by Mr Peter and Mrs Zan . Top marks!

From the time we checked in until we left, the friendliness of the staff was apparent. On arrival, check in was quick and as we were on the first floor, they even offered to carry our cases up to the room. Breakfast and dinner meals were very good, with a nice variety of food available. The room was very clean and neat and the bathroom had good large fluffy towels which is a bonus. We had no complaints as the 3 days spent there were amazing and relaxing. The grounds are so large and there are plenty of walks around the hotel to explore the forest. The staff were very welcoming and treated us like important guests.

We hired the Parliament Room for our party. Laura and Alisha arranged everything we asked for, from the room layout, to the amazing food for the night. We had lots of comments about how good it was. We are so pleased that we chose The Tawny as everyone had an amazing evening. Thanks again to all the staff involved. Kev & Caron xx

Grande pasto, prezzo ragionevole, buon servizio. La maggior parte delle tavole erano riservate, ma ci hanno ”squazzed”. L'ordine è stato preso rapidamente. Il menu aveva una buona selezione. Era un ritardo nel ottenere il cibo, ma valeva la pena aspettare. Ha avuto i pizzicatori e godevano ogni pezzo. Prezzo decente. In generale, una buona esperienza e verrà a tornare per campionare le specialità.

Benvenuto, bella stanza, delizioso letto confortevole. Il Highworth è una gioiello. Mi sono salutato da Katie che, dall'inizio al termine, era così accogliente e utile. La mia stanza era enorme, con decorazione deliziosa, bagno pulito, grande, con pressione idrica eccellente, grande illuminazione, e una bella vista di Highworth High Street. Localmente, c'è una buona scelta di posti da mangiare, negozi, un bel centro città, un campo di golf locale, e si è sul bordo dei Cotswolds. La colazione in arancione era deliziosa, il cuoco lo fece ordinare per le 8:00 sul pozzo perché dovevamo andarcene al lavoro. La giovane donna che ci serve e ci controllava era calda e chattata. Grazie speciali a Katie, per essere così gentile, genuino e proprio carino! Molto consigliato

This was my/our third stay at the White Hart and that alone tells you that it is such a fabulous Hotel. too many accolades to write but everything was above and beyond expectations. The rooms were much bigger than expected and beautifully appointed. Easily on par with the Premier Inn chain but a little bit more special in every way. The Hotel has style, class and character, which is sadly lacking in the larger chains. The staff are simply wonderful and you can have a good chat with them, regardless of the time of day or how busy they are. The restaurant has an eclectic menu but everything is freshly cooked, so you really do get the best meals. The restaurant isn't a bland space, you do feel as though you are in a much classier restaurant and it is always busy. Free parking and quick access to the major routes makes the location ideal for all clientele. We will most definitely be returning for multiple stays and will be looking forward to it. We are having our bathroom renovated and as we live in Highworth, wanted somewhere close to home. For what we paid we didn’t expect perfection. We were greeted with a smile and shown up to our room.On entering the room we could see it was ‘tired’; in need of a good refurb. Saying this, it was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a peaceful nights sleep. The bonus was having our own en suite facilities. The shower was powerful ( power shower) and nice and hot. Gorgeous smelling toiletries were provided. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to and would recommend this hotel. We didn’t eat here so cannot comment on food.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per qualche motivo. In primo luogo ha detto che aveva un parcheggio. Poi due giorni prima del nostro soggiorno, hanno scritto per dire che il parcheggio era limitato e potremmo dover parcheggiare altrove. Il parcheggio è molto facile, e ha 8 posti per l'intero hotel. Dovevamo ottenere un sconto mentre restavamo all'hotel, ma gli hanno detto che il sconto non funzionava. Poi gli ascensori non funzionavano, quindi dovevamo portare i casi al piano superiore! Dopo aver portato il nostro bagaglio su 15 voli di scala (che non erano carini e che avevano rubato nella scala), abbiamo trovato che ci avevano messo in una doppia e non in una gemella. Mio marito è 6ft 4 così abbiamo sempre prenotato letti gemelli, perché non possiamo adattarci in una doppia ...e questo è un piccolo doppio. Non hanno un telefono per chiamare la ricezione, quindi ho dovuto scendere 15 voli di scala per parlare con la ricezione. Anche se hanno commesso l'errore, hanno agito come se fossimo un vero scontro, ma ci hanno trasferiti ... alla stanza gemella vicino alla porta, che significava un altro 15 volo di scale per me. La mattina dopo il colazione era pazza e avevano sbagliato la maggior parte delle cose. L'hotel ci ha fatto sentire molto meglio, ma abbiamo dovuto aspettare circa 20 minuti per arrivare a un cuttery. Il personale non era amichevole o utile, non c'erano strutture e doveva affrontare la sporcizia e la gola, l'hotel non si sentiva pulito. Preferirei pagare un po' di più e stare da qualche parte molto meglio.

FREEZING FRODE. La finestra non si chiude. E non hanno nemmeno messo un riscaldamento aggiuntivo nella stanza per aiutare. La finestra è stata chiaramente come quella per un po'. SORTETE. Grazie. Ho avuto un terribile sonno notturno e mi sento come volevo i miei soldi indietro.
