From start to finish this place was amazing. I spoke with the hotel owner Regan in February prior to booking explaining it was my wife’s 60th birthday and I wanted it to be special, and neither he or his wife Emma didn’t disappoint, brilliant hosts, providing fabulous hospitality. The breakfasts were all very good (we stayed for 4 nights) the breakfast room has all been redesigned and refurnished, as had the room we stayed in which had a picturesque view over the mountain which the hotel overlooks at the front. The hotel now called the Ty Afon - River House is situated within a pleasant 5 min walk from the centre of the village. Nothing was too much trouble and his staff we also equally friendly and accommodating. A really enjoyable stay and we shall definitely return next year, thank you for making my wife’s birthday so special🙏

Siamo in una posizione eccellente a piedi del Monte Snowdon, offrendo diverse rotte di cammino al vertice e punti di interesse vicini. Catering per individui, famiglie, gruppi scolastici come. Letti a basso sono un po 'piu', ma molto confortevole a questo. Le camere sono dotate di camere single-sex, insieme a camere familiari/private. Le camere sono anche disponibili per il magazzinaggio dei valori - ricordate di portare una chiave e una chiave, tuttavia, non sono offerte. Se si basa sul trasporto pubblico per raggiungere il centro, allora si dispone di una selezione di servizi di autobus da scegliere, dato che Pen-y-Pass offre un centro locale di autobus nella zona. C'è un ufficio locale vicino, se necessario, suggerimenti/informazioni aggiuntive sul campo locale - anche se l'ufficio è aperto solo a determinate ore durante il giorno/settimana. La YHA offre una cucina completamente funzionale, auto-catering - è necessario essere ben organizzata per portare cibo dall'esterno, dato che non ci sono negozi/spot nelle vicinanze. I negozi più vicini sono a Llanberis, e ci sono negozi agricoli anche nelle vicinanze. Se non sono interessati a cucinare, allora la YHA offre anche una buona selezione nel menu, a prezzi accessibili. Questo posto offre alloggi puliti, confortevoli e economici per uno e tutti - altamente raccomandato.

My husband and I stayed at the lovely Porthmadog for a week. We weren't really planning on coming here but after visiting a dreadful pub in the area, the only bad one, we retreated here for a drink and found it an absolute haven, phew! We received such a warm, friendly welcome and the bar was stylish, super clean and really fresh and comfortable with a good choice of beers. Although we didn't stay here and only came in for a drink I had a little peep around and spotted a lovely garden area and dear little courtyard rooms with benches under a covered area so would more than happily stay here.
