After reading some horrendous reviews of The Loch Long Hotel, I thought it would be amusing to stay there for the one night. This is what happened........... I booked one night, arriving on Saturday 12th October. I paid £60.00GBP for room only, and I made a reservation for the Hotel Restaurant for 6.30pm. We looked at the Menu for The Restaurant Online, the Theme for The Restaurant was Italian, I was Looking forwards to a Carbonara. My Wife and I arrived in Arrochar a few Hours before check in, (Check In is at 3pm) We decided to have Lunch in Ben Arthur's Bothy, this was a Five Minute walk from The Loch Long Hotel. I had The Steak and Sausage Pie and My wife had the Burger and Fries. The food was delicious well cooked and presented, at a reasonable cost. After lunch, at Ben Arthur's Bothy, we thought we would go to the Hotel an see if they would check us in One and a Half Hours Early, walking up to the Hotel, on my right, I could see the Sauna and the Hot Tub. The Steam Room , looked like a decompression chamber, we were sent a message, when we booked the room, that the Hot Tub was out of order. No information regarding the Steam Room The reception area was clean and tidy, and I felt a little less nervous about stating the night. I went to the Reception, too see if I could check in early, The Receptionist, was not the most enthusiastic, receptionist that I have encountered, but she did check us in early. I noticed a small pool table in reception, so I decided to have a game of Pool then go to my room. Although, the Pool table was free, there was no chalk so, there really is no point in playing Pool, without chalk. as, my wife and I were playing Pool, a couple went over to Reception and was asking the Receptionist the same questions we were asking about the Steam Room, and was given a different answer to the one we were given. so, we just went to find our Room. I was in Room 108, no views of Loch Long as we were at the back of the Hotel, overlooking the staff accommodation. Room 108 is a small room, with a small Double bed, right next to the en suite toilet and shower, on the plus side there was a Bath over the Shower, but with the Bed Being so close to the Toilet, you could hear everything going on in there ! On the plus side. The room was clean, the en suite facilities were clean I was very pleased to discover Welcome biscuits and Tea and Coffee, in proper ceramic mugs. What let down Room 108 was the Bed was very uncomfortable, there was some sort of protector sheet under the Valance sheet but it was quilted so, it made for a ”Lumpy” feeling when you were trying to sleep in it. My last complaint was the Pillows ! Cheap Hollow Fibre pillows, very uncomfortable ! Later that Evening My Wife and I decided, to go to the Bar for a drink, before we went to the Restaurant for our 6.30 Reservation. At 6.15 we made our way over the The Restaurant and it was closed, all the lights were off. so, I went to The Reception and asked a man in a

Rimasto per una notte in una camera di vista a due laghi con en-suite. La vista vale la pena. Il personale era amichevole, la stanza era pulita, facile da controllare e da controllare. La posizione era facilmente segnalata e parcheggio disponibile. 5/10min Passeggiare a pochi negozi di chip locali un bar e negozi se necessario, nonché accesso al bar e al ristorante sul sito. Abbiamo soggiornato in un domenica di giugno, che era tranquillo. L'edificio è un edificio più vecchio così molto grigio, ma è molto parte del fascino. Il tè/caffè e la caldaia sono forniti in camera e un piccolo trattamento scozzese per i cookie. Perfetto fermo per ulteriori viaggi a nord o qualsiasi altra situazione. Certamente rimborserò.

Great to get back to the Tarbet Hotel. Great view from our spacious room towards the Loch and Ben Lomond beyond. Good location at the junction of the A82 for Fort William & Oban and A83 for Cowal & Kintyre destinations. Although we didn't dine there for our evening meal, we did have breakfast which was delicious.

Amazing hotel in the most beautiful and relaxing location by Loch Lomond. I enjoyed the nearby hillwalking and catching the local ferry from Luss Pier to explore Loch Lomond from the water. Room, couch and bed were all very comfortable and cosy, with the benefit of a private balcony. For food you can simply walked down to Luss village or have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Colquhoun's restaurant that is located in the hotel with spectacular views of Loch Lomond to inspire and remind you to appreciate the small things in life. Found the menu choice balanced and of high quality. Will definitely be back A +++++

Un hotel super buono è stato raccolto accidentalmente! Il miglior hotel del villaggio! Super piccolo fresco!La nuova manutenzione è molto buona!La stanza è molto calda! Molto tranquilla! La vita è molto comoda! È molto profumato!L'hotel è ben riconosciuto, confrontato con la piccola città del lago Lomond e della montagna di neve, il miglior hotel, il segno di mento è ben riconosciuto. Il ricevitore è buono, il segnale della città non è buono, e insegno la password WiFi, e la ricevi presto dopo la prenotazione di Trip.com.La prenotazione in loco è buona! La cena e la colazione sono fantastici!Il ristorante è fantastico nella piccola città di vacanza!!!!La colazione scozzese è così deliziosa! Se sei passato qui per rimanere nel lago Lomond, non perdere questo hotel!Super buono! La neve è uscito di notte, il piccolo argento è davvero bellissimo! Il più importante è la debole colazione 🥐!E'la stessa cosa del ristorante dell'hotel, la stessa cosa della famiglia!E' davvero deliziosa!E' deliziosa di qualsiasi pepe mumbai in Europa!Non posso mangiare così deliziosa perdere questa famiglia! Molto consigliato!

We had a wonderful stay in the Red Maple self catering lodges at Forest Hills. The lodges were very spacious, clean and well equipped. The decor was cosy and quaint with a nostalgic feel. Beds were comfy and the view was stunning. We used the spa each day and the children loved the swimming pool, table tennis, play area and pool tables. The children also enjoyed picking a film from the dvd list at reception each night. Staff throughout the whole complex were pleasant and helpful. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay. Stunning location and access to local mountains to explore. I was worried when my husband booked this as a surprise due to the previous reviews I had read but please ignore them. Forest Hills is a quirky, comfy and tranquil resort with a wholesome charm. We will be back.

In a quite delightful location, this Hotel on reflection is undoubtedly a wedding venue, and in that I would suggest it worthy of consideration. For us we were bed and breakfast guests for one night and although the accommodations were most comfortable and the catering very good ably provided by mine host Jas, the facilities mainly were quite large and more befitting the wedding venue status. The staff were most friendly and certainly helped make our stay. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and we commend the cooking skills of Jas.

Ho pranzato nuovamente all’Oak Tre Inn dopo più di 10 anni dalla prima visita e non posso che confermare l’opinione positiva che già ne avevo: cucina ottima e servizio velocissimo, cosa fondamentale se si sta percorrendo la WHW e non si ha molto tempo a disposizione (si può ordinare e pagare tutto tramite il proprio cellulare, cosa che ho trovato comodissima!). In una bella giornata di sole, ci si può anche sedere fuori e godersi il paesaggio.
