Opinione sul soggiorno al Temperance Inn. Come già detto, questa è la mia opinione onesta sul nostro soggiorno recente al Temperance Inn sulla Lake Road, Ambleside, nel quartiere del lago.. Il soggiorno è stato per cinque notti nel settembre 2023 e è stato per un paio. Le camere sono buone con letti confortevoli e una doccia eccellente, con asciugamani forniti. Non c'è parcheggio in loco, Se non hai una macchina o se non vuoi usare la tua auto, allora la stazione di autobus è molto vicino, proprio intorno all'angolo. Le tabelle di orario degli autobus sono facilmente disponibili nella biblioteca proprio al di là della stazione di autobus.

The Regent Hotel which we have been visiting for many years is no longer and is now named Wateredge Rooms connected to the Wateredge Hotel over the road. As usual we stayed four nights and the Breakfast experience on the first morning was one not to be repeated so we walked into Ambleside to other Cafes for the rest of our stay. There were only 8-10 people in the Breakfast area when we entered all Buffet type arrangements and certainly not inviting. Coffee and Toasting arrangements totally inadequate for large numbers and accidents will occur. I did complete the Inn Collection Survey and contacted them by email. The response was one of little interest and said they were ”continuously training staff to be the best they can be”. It wasn't a staff issue they were fine its the fact they have brought two Hotels together to reduce costs without any consideration to customer service. We certainly won't be returning.

We visited the Rothay Manor in February 2024. This was our second time visiting the hotel since 2019 and it was even better than the first time. The room was spacious and comfortable and the hot tub was great especially after a day’s walking. The food at breakfasts and dinner in the evenings were delicious and the staff were lovely - kind, helpful, attentive whilst remaining professional at all times. Our golden retriever accompanied us and she was treated like a princess by everyone. If you have a dog, the boot room and dog shower are a fantastic addition since the last time we visited. All in all, visit the Rothay Manor if you can - you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait until our next visit.

Neu renovierte Zimmer direkt am See. Abendessen und Frühstück kann man bequem im Pub, erneut mit Seeblick!, einnehmen. Es ist sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich. Sie gehen auf Wünsche ein. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall. Pier Ambleside direkt gegenüber mit vielen Bootstouren.

We arrived looking to do very little during our stay and that's what we got thanks to the staff at the three shires. We were greeted on arrival by Julie who was friendly and easy to talk to. Our room was clean,well decorated and there were some fantastic pictures on the walls. We were very impressed with the bathroom,even down to the heated sensor mirror . The bed was extremely comfortable. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was delicious and we were able to relax in the lounge afterwards. There is a great choice for breakfast and Julie was a pleasure to talk to. We ate out at the Eltermere Inn the second night which I regretted as it wasn't as welcoming as the three shires. I would recommend this place to friends and family and we will be visiting again in the near future.

State a posto presso il B&B Rothay Garth! Siamo stati nella stanza 17, che è una stanza angolare in fronte. E 'vicina alla strada, ma sinceramente non ho mai sentito molto rumore stradale. La stanza era grande e confortevole, e bellamente luminosa e aria. La camera da letto era bella, ma un po' piccola. La posizione non poteva essere più perfetta ..... facile passeggiare al centro della città e solo mezzo chilometro al lago. Il colazione era eccellente, e aveva entrambi un grande colazione inglese tradizionale, insieme ad altre scelte più piccole. Inoltre, potresti regolare il grande colazione in qualsiasi modo ti piacesse. Tutti i dipendenti erano molto amici e di aiuto. La sala di soggiorno frontale è un grande luogo per rilassarsi, anche se attualmente non offrono il drink dopo-domani annunciato sul loro sito web. Il parcheggio è anche un grande vantaggio. Mi piacerebbe stare qui di nuovo per la prossima visita.

UUtente ospiteOur 4th stay now and as good as ever! We always try and book room 1 with the bay window if it is available and this time it was even better with a Christmas tree in the window! It’s the most friendly, warm and cosy place to stay, and in a brilliant spot for walks, shops and restaurants without needing the car. Steve and Caz are wonderful hosts who really care about their guests and you can tell they have thought of everything to make your stay as good as possible. So many little touches which make all the difference, and really fantastic breakfasts. We were there the first weekend in December when Ambleside saw a huge amount of snow in one day and you could tell that Steve and Caz were really doing all they could to find out information for their guests about road conditions etc. Steve and Caz, we hope you have a lovely Christmas, and very best wishes for 2024… we hope to see you again then! UUtente ospiteWe arrived looking to do very little during our stay and that's what we got thanks to the staff at the three shires. We were greeted on arrival by Julie who was friendly and easy to talk to. Our room was clean,well decorated and there were some fantastic pictures on the walls. We were very impressed with the bathroom,even down to the heated sensor mirror . The bed was extremely comfortable. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was delicious and we were able to relax in the lounge afterwards. There is a great choice for breakfast and Julie was a pleasure to talk to. We ate out at the Eltermere Inn the second night which I regretted as it wasn't as welcoming as the three shires. I would recommend this place to friends and family and we will be visiting again in the near future.

UUtente ospiteWe visited the Rothay Manor in February 2024. This was our second time visiting the hotel since 2019 and it was even better than the first time. The room was spacious and comfortable and the hot tub was great especially after a day’s walking. The food at breakfasts and dinner in the evenings were delicious and the staff were lovely - kind, helpful, attentive whilst remaining professional at all times. Our golden retriever accompanied us and she was treated like a princess by everyone. If you have a dog, the boot room and dog shower are a fantastic addition since the last time we visited. All in all, visit the Rothay Manor if you can - you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait until our next visit.

Rrachel sStaff are always welcoming and can’t do enough to make your stay the best it can be. The hotel rooms are spotless with really comfy beds. Breakfast was nice and a good selection for anyone’s taste. Hot foods can be ordered when you sit down and there is a good selection of fruit, yoghurt, toast, cereal to help yourself to as well. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Ambleside with good parking. We didn’t need to move the car once we had arrived as everything is in walking distance and we spent our days exploring the many walks which you can take from Ambleside. We are regular visitors and this is our favourite place to stay.

The waiter bought us a selection of teas in for us to look at and make our choice. We loved the fact that the tea came with a timer to maximise the brew. The presentation of the food was excellent with the sandwiches presented in a book. A great afternoon of high quality food and service

E 'vicina alla strada, ma sinceramente non ho mai sentito molto rumore stradale. La stanza era grande e confortevole, e bellamente luminosa e aria. La camera da letto era bella, ma un po' piccola. La posizione non poteva essere più perfetta ..... facile passeggiare al centro della città e solo mezzo chilometro al lago. Il colazione era eccellente, e aveva entrambi un grande colazione inglese tradizionale, insieme ad altre scelte più piccole. Inoltre, potresti regolare il grande colazione in qualsiasi modo ti piacesse. Tutti i dipendenti erano molto amici e di aiuto. La sala di soggiorno frontale è un grande luogo per rilassarsi, anche se attualmente non offrono il drink dopo-domani annunciato sul loro sito web. Il parcheggio è anche un grande vantaggio. Mi piacerebbe stare qui di nuovo per la prossima visita.

UUtente ospiteThe Regent Hotel which we have been visiting for many years is no longer and is now named Wateredge Rooms connected to the Wateredge Hotel over the road. As usual we stayed four nights and the Breakfast experience on the first morning was one not to be repeated so we walked into Ambleside to other Cafes for the rest of our stay. There were only 8-10 people in the Breakfast area when we entered all Buffet type arrangements and certainly not inviting. Coffee and Toasting arrangements totally inadequate for large numbers and accidents will occur. I did complete the Inn Collection Survey and contacted them by email. The response was one of little interest and said they were ”continuously training staff to be the best they can be”. It wasn't a staff issue they were fine its the fact they have brought two Hotels together to reduce costs without any consideration to customer service. We certainly won't be returning.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed in a pod for a night, breaking up our long journey from the Scottish Highlands to Derbyshire. We have stayed in all types of 'alternative accommodation' at YHAs up and down the country, and to be honest the pod was very basic- there wasn't a chair and table inside for example for when we wanted to play a board game. We played outside but were swarmed by midges! A foldable one under the bed would have been a good shout. However, first impressions didn't count, as we had an excellent night's sleep, very comfortable and cosy. We also had tea there and the food was wonderful. The shared facilities were so clean and the lounge area was lovely too. To top it off, the lady who greeted us on arrival was so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be at work, we felt warmly welcomed! Thanks YHA.

Cambia il biglietto al punto di vendita, e poi andrà alla piccola casa bianca accanto (cioè il Cottage di Dove) per fare un giro guidato, e il personale sarà guidato per un tour guidato.Il giardino vicino alla casa bianca è molto resistente, il sole è in giro, e voglio entrare e guardare il libro per tutto il giorno!

Si consiglia di guardare la casa del ponte sulla superficie e avere un aspetto di costruzione generale.La superficie delle scale è molto piccola, si deve stare attento.

TTodemmySono tutti gli uccelli che sorridevano e sorridevano. Sono attrazioni molto interessanti. Non ci sono molti turisti. È possibile stare a piedi per guardare i fiori, un grande senso, il bosco e l'erba crescono e crescono e l'aria è anche molto fresca, vale la pena!
