Top notch accomodations and service in a 16th century Manor house. Spent one night here in November before returning home overseas. This is an upscale resort that also caters to small private groups. Two issues to be aware of, due the authentic restoration of the Manor building. There is no elevator in this building, and the both the floor and stairs are uneven. The charming architecture meant in our 3rd floor room, angled timbers made accessing the bed from one side problematic. If you have mobility issues, request a room in a lower floor, or in one of the cottages. Second, we did not notice any HVAC vents- heating was through traditional radiators. Cooling may be an issue in hot weather- you might want to confirm how rooms are cooled if visiting in the summer. But overall, this hotel was wonderful.

We booked Les Jardins de Deauville because we wanted to stay close to friends who live in the area. We thought we would just park our bags, visit our friends and then head up to Deauville for dinner. (We've been to Deauville on previous trips - it's lovely and certainly worth a visit.) However. When we arrived at the property, we had a ”pinch me” moment - the grounds and landscape were stunning. We were personally greeted on arrival by the owner and his amazing staff. He gave us a quick tour and showed us the gorgeous swimming pool before we headed to meet our friends for lunch. We booked a triple room which was very spacious and stylish. On the way to lunch with our friends I asked my family if they really wanted to go up to Deauville for dinner. Our teen said ”Can we please just go back and chill at the hotel?” So we did. The pool is really terrific and I loved that the staff came around and offered orange wedges as a light refreshment. Service at the pool was amazing. Service everywhere in the hotel was amazing. They have considered pretty much every detail and how to balance excellent service without being too stilted. We had an incredible dinner that night but do book ahead on weekends - we had a late seating, which was fine but they do fill up. I had booked the hotel because it was close to our friends' house. I had no expectations - I just wanted a convenient place to stay for the night. It was such a happy surprise to find such an inviting, chic hotel. It's a great base if you do want to visit Deauville but it's also the perfect place to just go and chill for a weekend and think about nothing. Truly love this special place and am so glad we found it!

Che buona accoglienza di questa gentile dama che cucina, si riceve e si dà l’amore di rimanere più a lungo per scoprire questo splendido luogo che è la Normandia. Raccomando vivamente con l’idea di venire a passare un buon momento perché è l’essenza e di lasciare i mini dettagli che si vede sui pareri di certi che vi rompe la magia di coloro che si mettono in 4 per voi. Passate di buoni momenti a 2 o più per condividere l’ubicazione in cui una piscina è in progetto su questo bellissimo parco ombrato. À. Notre arrivée lieu d’apparence charmant . Jolie vue sur la mer. Beau jardin . Accueil chaleureux de la part du personnel . Mais à la découverte de la chambre supérieure avec vue sur mer là clairement ce n’est pas digne d’un hôtel 3 étoiles . L’ensemble de l’hôtel a besoin d’un sérieux coup de rajeunissement . Dans la chambre la douche est sale avec des joints de carrelages encrassés , des portes de douche jamais nettoyées , la robinetterie pleine de calcaire , une cuvette de toilette sale … des prises non fixées correctement au mur dangereuses …. Un frigo sale et non fonctionnel …. Des portes bruyantes qui ne peuvent se fermer qu’en les claquant …. Aucune prise presente de part et d autre du lit donc impossible de brancher son tel …. De plus les chiens sont acceptés et nous ont réveillés par leur aboiements le matin … incroyable mais ces même chiens sont acceptés dans la salle des petits déjeuners …. L’hygiène l’hygiène et encore l’hygiène …. La piscine chauffée manque clairement de degrés une fois dans l’eau la clientèle se colle contre les sources d’eau chaude et ne bouge plus tellement l’eau est froide !! Les douches de la piscine ne sont pas nettoyées et le savon jamais rempoté !! Bref cher pour un hôtel vieillot qui pourrait avec de la volonté et de l’investissement être un super club de bon niveau . Bien à vous

Positivo: - la suite jacuzzi è grande e confortevole per 2 adulti e 2 bambini. - La piscina scoperta è piacevole - il parco permette di rilassarsi con i bambini. (Attention cependant aux crottes de chien ...) - nombreux places de parking - proximité de Deauville/Trouville (un paio de minutes en voiture) Negativo : - l’ensemble est vieillot - le maison des chambres est sommaire (pour la mie un réfrigérateur daté, sale et pourvu d’une odeur infectée ... oubliez en l’utilisation.), nombreuses tâches douteuses dans la salle de bain, odeur d’urine dans les toilettes... - le service en restauration est juste supportable. Pas désagréable mais pas pro. - il piccolo dej: si deve amare le ambienti flunch... servizio a piastra, tavoli non arredate, set da tavolo, bicchieri in cartone... tutto è industriale... non vale 17 euro. Il quadro è a lui triste e non accogliente. - L’aile sinistra non è mantenuta - la piscina interna è impraticabile per grande calore, si crederebbe alla municipale. In relazione alla clientela, l’hotel non li scelge ... invece accettano i cani, ont donc une responsabilité pour obliger les propriétaires à les garder en laisse et leur rappeler de recueillir les déjections. Interdire l'accès à la piscine (ce'est écrit mais pas respecté) J'aime les chiens, j'en ai ... ! Ma non al bordo della piscina ... scusate! Se avete letto tutto, capirete che ci sono gravi lacune (e ancora, ho tenuto alcune sorprese!) ma la posizione e il rapporto qualità/prezzo possono compensare i difetti... ognuno vede mezzogiorno alla sua porta ... Non più di due giorni per me!

This is a very basic budget hotel and the room is quite small. I stayed two nights in January so the price was exceptionally low. Room had a chair, small desk, full bed, two small pillows, a TV, hooks and rack for clothes and a tiny prefab bathroom, as is the case with out locations. The shower is very hard to maneuver in and only hand soap is provided in a container. Wifi worked fine. There's no AC. Heat was OK. Water was hot. Staff was friendly. It was about two miles from the beach and a little over a mile from the city center and train station so the location isn't great but it's safe. There are several gas stations and grocery stores nearby but dining options are limited. Clientele seemed OK and the grounds were clean. For the price or a comparable one, relative to the time of year, I'd definitely stay again.
