We stayed at Octopus Resort for 2 nights during our honeymoon and it was amazing. We stayed in one of the beach front bures and the view from our room was unreal. Different activities on offer which were fun, our favourite one was visiting the local village. Snorkelling was amazing! So many fish. Staff were mostly happy and welcoming. Food was good, only complaint we felt a bit rushed - we were still eating our first course and they were bringing out the next. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and we would visit again if in Fiji again.

Fun activities available such as reef snorkelling, hiking and village visit, or just relax in the hammocks and go snorkelling right off the beach. Delicious Fijian food with lots of gluten free options. The team go out of their way to share their beautiful culture and island home. Fantastic option for those who are content with a simple holiday and wanting to connect with Fijian spirit. We really didn't want to leave! :)

I spent 5 nights here, in one of their “glamping” tent bures. Lots of room, comfy queen size bed , ceiling fans in both sleep area, and, the bathroom. No AC, but, the bures are right on the beach, and, the winds were delightful! They charge a flat rate for 3 meals a day, which was very reasonable. Bar prices were reasonable, too. Great snorkeling right off the beach. Staff were Fijians who lived on the neighboring island. Everyone was lovely!! Nice hike to Summit for an incredible view. I did the Bull shark dive; exciting and well run. Wi-Fi was available in the reception and bar/restaurant area only. They had 4 types/levels of bures. One type accommodated 10 in bunk beds!

Il migliore 👍🏻 della cultura esterna è un buon servizio, qualcuno è dolce e molto buona spiaggia. Sento che tutti i dipendenti si girano intorno. Ci sono buoni insuli vicini 🪸 un buon terreno di immersione, cioè, una barca è lontana dall'isola principale. È possibile andare al porto di Denarau con il numero del Pacifico meridionale. Non è necessario prendere un elicottero. Una piccola barca vicino a ～ ha un ristorante diomakasa giornata. Il chef Mark è molto serio, Abbiamo seguito Sam e siamo andati a Soso Village, abbiamo imparato la storia locale, le chiese e le scuole, e abbiamo avuto una grande esperienza.

Il resort era in una bella posizione, ma è un po’ stanco, comprensibile dopo la cova. Anche dopo qualche e-mail che chiedeva un letto doppio vicino alla spiaggia non avevano una radice per noi, ci avevano messo in un Bure up the hill. Ho tendinite alle ginocchia, così non avrei mai funzionato.Alla fine, mi hanno messo mio marito e io in un gabinetto con letti gemelli più vicini alla spiaggia - non romantico! Il piano di pranzo era davvero costoso, ma il cibo era abbondante, purtroppo il ristorante era in collina, quindi era un doloroso sforzo per me per ogni pasto. A differenza di altri centri che abbiamo soggiornato in questo centro, è stato richiesto un aumento giornaliero del carburante e abbiamo dovuto pagare un canone di affitto per le fine. Non hanno fatto viaggi a raggi Manta nei due giorni in cui ci siamo fermati, anche se ci sono stati raggi Manta in entrambi i giorni. Fortunatamente abbiamo prenotato notti anche al Barefoot Manta Ray Resort, così si è concluso nuotare con le mantas che erano la nostra unica ragione per andare. Per essere giusti, altri che si trovano al MRIR hanno detto che erano stati presi in viaggio di Manta prima della settimana, quindi non ho idea perché ci hanno detto che non ci erano mantas nei 2 giorni che ci siamo stati - Barefoot Manta Resort ha detto che in uno dei giorni Infatti, c'era 7. Questo resort è molto più di un resort bagagli, anche se l'elevato costo del piano di pranzo darebbe alla maggior parte dei bagagli un secondo pensiero.

Barefoot Manta was amazing! We spent 5 nights and had the best time. The staff were incredible, especially the resident marine biologist Rob who was a mine of information and enthusiasm. There are 3 different beaches to snorkel from and the snorkelling was the best we have ever seen, it is a protected marine reserve and we participated in coral planting which was great. The Manta Ray trips happened on 3 of our 5 days, it is a bit of an uncontrolled bun fight with various resorts sending their boats to see the mantas but the Barefoot Manta crew were educated and respectful. The resort is beautiful and has a lovely vibe, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a double Bure on the sunset side, it was a permanent tent and it was all that we could have wished for, right on the beach. The meal plan is really expensive by our standards, I would have preferred an al a carte option as I have food restrictions and I found that eating salad and rice for almost every meal was boring and repetitive. The staff did try though, however $40 Fijian for salad and rice was a bit on the nose. Bring snacks! It would have been good if they could have made the tea/coffee available all day and maybe had something available for afternoon tea as it is 6 hrs between lunch and dinner. We do recommend this place.
