Il mare è molto bello e molto bello.Questa piccola isola è lontana ma vale molto.Ci sono molti pesci che si immergono nel mare, l'acqua è pulita come il fruttacolo. Impianti: la stanza è grande e due divano grandi sono molto comodi.Ci sono frigoriferi, caffè e vasche da acqua calda.Il bagno all'aperto è molto caldo, molto raccomandato!Clima e ventilatore non sono caldi a mezzogiorno.Ci sono porte indipendenti per entrambi i bagni e non interferiscono con i piedi. Ambiente: la strada rispetto all'ecologia originale, molte piante.Il piccolo cortile con il vento e il vino sono molto comodi a bere la notte.Anche se si prenota una stanza di vista del giardino, può andare alla spiaggia per circa un minuto. Servizio: il servizio è molto entusiasta!Il primo giorno di prenotazione è stato sbagliato pensando che abbiamo sei persone, ci abbiamo dato quattro piccoli letti, e ci ha aiutato a fare grandi letti dopo averlo detto.Ogni giorno c'è qualcuno che pulisce l'igiene.Ci canta anche addio quando partiamo. Ci sono due ristoranti, uno dei quali è la cucina giapponese e ci sono molti frutti marini nella sua cassa.La cena è buona, è più deliziosa di arrivare all'isola principale!

Il resort era in una bella posizione, ma è un po’ stanco, comprensibile dopo la cova. Anche dopo qualche e-mail che chiedeva un letto doppio vicino alla spiaggia non avevano una radice per noi, ci avevano messo in un Bure up the hill. Ho tendinite alle ginocchia, così non avrei mai funzionato.Alla fine, mi hanno messo mio marito e io in un gabinetto con letti gemelli più vicini alla spiaggia - non romantico! Il piano di pranzo era davvero costoso, ma il cibo era abbondante, purtroppo il ristorante era in collina, quindi era un doloroso sforzo per me per ogni pasto. A differenza di altri centri che abbiamo soggiornato in questo centro, è stato richiesto un aumento giornaliero del carburante e abbiamo dovuto pagare un canone di affitto per le fine. Non hanno fatto viaggi a raggi Manta nei due giorni in cui ci siamo fermati, anche se ci sono stati raggi Manta in entrambi i giorni. Fortunatamente abbiamo prenotato notti anche al Barefoot Manta Ray Resort, così si è concluso nuotare con le mantas che erano la nostra unica ragione per andare. Per essere giusti, altri che si trovano al MRIR hanno detto che erano stati presi in viaggio di Manta prima della settimana, quindi non ho idea perché ci hanno detto che non ci erano mantas nei 2 giorni che ci siamo stati - Barefoot Manta Resort ha detto che in uno dei giorni Infatti, c'era 7. Questo resort è molto più di un resort bagagli, anche se l'elevato costo del piano di pranzo darebbe alla maggior parte dei bagagli un secondo pensiero.

Barefoot Manta was amazing! We spent 5 nights and had the best time. The staff were incredible, especially the resident marine biologist Rob who was a mine of information and enthusiasm. There are 3 different beaches to snorkel from and the snorkelling was the best we have ever seen, it is a protected marine reserve and we participated in coral planting which was great. The Manta Ray trips happened on 3 of our 5 days, it is a bit of an uncontrolled bun fight with various resorts sending their boats to see the mantas but the Barefoot Manta crew were educated and respectful. The resort is beautiful and has a lovely vibe, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a double Bure on the sunset side, it was a permanent tent and it was all that we could have wished for, right on the beach. The meal plan is really expensive by our standards, I would have preferred an al a carte option as I have food restrictions and I found that eating salad and rice for almost every meal was boring and repetitive. The staff did try though, however $40 Fijian for salad and rice was a bit on the nose. Bring snacks! It would have been good if they could have made the tea/coffee available all day and maybe had something available for afternoon tea as it is 6 hrs between lunch and dinner. We do recommend this place.

We stayed at Octopus Resort for 2 nights during our honeymoon and it was amazing. We stayed in one of the beach front bures and the view from our room was unreal. Different activities on offer which were fun, our favourite one was visiting the local village. Snorkelling was amazing! So many fish. Staff were mostly happy and welcoming. Food was good, only complaint we felt a bit rushed - we were still eating our first course and they were bringing out the next. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and we would visit again if in Fiji again.

Kuata Island is a 1hr 30 min ferry ride from Port Denarau, and represents the first island of the Yasawa's with unique scuba experience, namely diving with bull sharks. The dive, itself, is very manageable and although it was the low season, there were 8-10 bull sharks in attendance for the 'feeding performance'. You really do get a sense of the size of these animals, and their relaxed cruising style. Its only if they do 'sprint' to grab a fish head, do you appreciate the speed of a predating shark versus that a relaxed one. Other than this dive, there is good snorkelling trips to see black tip sharks. Snorkelling direct off the resort can be challenging at low tide. You need to use the channel and share it with dive and transport boats. Coral is mildly bleached in places, and i suspect that has been going on for some time now. The long hike to the summit can be very slippery, and frankly, the view at the top isnt that great. Sunset down by the restaurant is a far nicer photogenic moment. We stayed for 3 nights and our bule had issues with water supply, as well as the realisation that there really isnt hot water for showers anywhere in the resort. The bules have fans for aircon which works just well enough, but at the height of summer would be a little tough. They were having fresh water issues for the island and we needed a toilet fixed almost as soon as checking in. It took a while, but got sorted. You need to pay for a daily food package, which while filling, isnt really of high quality. We can only recall one dish atone lunch that we could say we enjoyed. The remaining meals where just OK. And here is the rub for an island resort such as this. You are paying upwards of FJ$400-600 per night for private accommodation for two. The daily food bill is FJ$159 per person. Transfers to and from the Port are FJ$370 per person. The shark dive is FJ$339 and the snorkelling tour is $99. We brought some liquor to make a daily cocktail but even so, incidentals can add up as well. So ultimately, if an island experience is going to cost you A$750 to $800 per night, then you should expect warm showers, working toilets, and better meals. Overall, you cannot fault the staff and their ever-lovely attitude and good nature. And Michael, Oz and the team at the Dive Shop are first class. But if Fiji has to be assessed as a tropical island location for snorkelers and divers, then it falls short versus other options in the South Pacific and SE Asia.
