The hotel has everything we expected and more. Excellent location to visit the wonderful Rias Bajas area, walking distance from restaurants, easy access , free parking available at all times. Excellent spotless room, with balcony, some view of the Ria de Vigo and very comfortable bathroom. We reserved a superior room with view. The staff helpful and friendly, they gave us their WhatsApp number and were in contact for anything we needed. An easy walk to the ferry that runs punctually back and forth to Vigo with no need to drive (or a 4 minute drive to the ferry). One little detail, for fair review, is the mattress which was a bit soft for our taste, but the bed made up for it with very ample space for us so we slept very well. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very helpful. A buffet with all sorts of tasty things and you can order any type of eggs cooked on the spot. On the day we travelled to Vigo we went out early to get the first ferry and they had our breakfast ready in the coffee room downstairs with fresh Juice and Coffee. Other guests very very quiet and it was very pleasant to be in the breakfast room. I think older reviews are form before the pandemic and it seems the hotel and the breakfast service reopened with new energy and care. I seldom give a 10 in a review, but this place deserves it well.

Ci ha sorpreso gratificatamente. Scegliamo letto king size e era molto comodo, sia il letto che le mutandine. Camera di dimensioni corrette con un piccolo balcone. La posizione è perfetta, perché ha la spiaggia davanti e è facile parcheggiare. Colazione completa e variabile. Ci è un ristorante nel proprio hotel. Devi modernizzare il bagno (spazzatura ancora di roccia). Molto buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci è soggiorno per giochi per bambini.

Il sito è bellissimo circondato da un bosco di eucalipti e rubli. Ideale se si va con un animale domestico. La pace è bella e molto antica. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo avuto un problema con la doccia che era rotta, era stato un giorno molto caldo, e non potevamo fare una doccia. Inizialmente ci è stato detto che non potevano fare nulla fino a lunedì (perché era sabato) e noi li abbiamo chiesto una soluzione, ovviamente. Le abbiamo presentato la situazione e i dipendenti, letteralmente, ”sono scomparsi” per risolverla. Maria ha rimosso Roma con Santiago (non meglio detto) per trovare un fontanero. Jessi ci ha proposto di cambiare la stanza vedendo che non poteva essere risolto. Montse è venuto a vedere come ci siamo trovati diverse volte e il ragazzo (perdonatemi, ma non so il suo nome) ci ha curato gentilmente. Sei il migliore del Pazzo. E quanto fosse bello svegliarsi al mattino e sentire il saluto di Maria di ”Buongiorno, come siete andati a letto?”. E il tratto verso la nostra cane era IMMOBILI. Chic@s, siete ”IL MIGLIORO DEL PAZO”.

In desperate need of some TLC. Studio apartment,no kettle asked and got one straight away. No toaster but not a problem as we decided to take breakfast in the hotel. Bathroom vent full of thick dust and fluff and had to insist that they clean it. Scandinavia type furniture which didn't really work with the pink marble floors. Bed was comfy. Reception helpful and pleasant. Would have had the New year gala dinner in the associated restaurant but at the asking price of 250 euros per person no way. Tremendous promotion of Vigo for Christmas and the illuminations from the Mayor of Vigo but absolutely not geared for tourism. 1st of January and everything closed. Definitely not recommend in winter.

This waterfront hotel is in an interesting old building, with view rooms looking out to the Bay and surroundings, nice lobby for a relaxed breakfast. My room had the great view, and the finishings are nice, but the flooring seemed to be of a cheap material that had bubbled/warped already and I notice it hadn't even been cut and laid properly along the wall (a gap) when installed. My friend didn't enjoy the enclosed feeling of the interior room she booked. We were sent to a really bad nearby restaurant by the staff but not their fault as the choices were limited with a late arrival, in fact the staff here are the best aspect. The parking situation needs to be explained more clearly. There are ”limited discounts” available for a certain number of guest to park elsewhere, and if you arrive later, left to your own devices, the parking garage directly across the street is a steep 30 Euros for overnight. The entrance driveway is nicely blended into the front parklet for esthetics, but this means it's not clear it can be driven on or marked at all, you will likely miss it and need to circle another four blocks to approach again, and then discover locals feel free to block it when you might want to drive up and unload. Still enjoyed the visit despite the minor irritants.

Hotel comodo, nel centro pedonale di VIGO, vicino al porto ed alla zona di passeggio, camere ampie, ma molto datate negli arredamenti e necessitanti di una decisa ristrutturazione … Bagno nel medesimo stile, pulito, ma molto poco funzionale , ascensori pochi e molto stretti , scomodi quando arrivano i gruppi come il nostro …. La colazione invece si svolge su una bellissima terrazza panoramica sui tetti e sul porto di VIGO, con le navi in partenza romanticamente …. Va bene per una notte di passaggio, ma sicuramente si può trovare di meglio ….

Struttura semplice ma molto accogliente. Tutto molto pulito, bagno spazioso e letto comodo. Personale cortese. Buona colazione. In ottima posizione vicino a Piazza Compostela. Non c'è parcheggio ma hanno una convenzione con un pareggio coperto poco distante a 12€ al giorno.

We started our summer holiday in Vigo and had 4 nights in Maroa hotel. We booked a room with balcony, even though we could see it was a quite small one. Check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed help to find a place to buy water for my contact lenses, and they showed me a few places where I might be able to find it, and they were right. The room itself was huge and so was the bathroom. The tv was a bit old and small, and the amount of programmes was very limited, so don't expect to spend time watching TV at night. The balcony was rather small as expected, but could fit a chair out there, where I could sit and read a book. Could have used another chair and maybe a little table, so both of us could have sat outside. Breakfast was good although not the same variety as in a large hotel. However, we got a brilliant service and eggs the way we wanted them each morning. Also the view from the rooftop is amazing at all hours of the day. A strange thing that I've never experienced before, was that the cleaning lady didn't take the tip I had laid on the bed. That was just put on my desk when she cleaned the room. Can recommend this for location, staff, views and breakfast.
