Antsotegi, what to say about it. Well, that it’s an absolute gem of a place to stay when visiting the Basque Country. Off the beaten track, and actually situated on the Camino de Santiago route. Beautifully located in gorgeous green scenery in the hilly countryside, it facilitates both Camino heroes and adventurous types, as well as couples looking for a romantic get away surrounded by tranquility and pure nature. What makes Antsotegi even better and what truly is an absolute selling point, is its amazing owners and staff. Super friendly and ready to help you in any way they can. From great tips as to where to go and what to do from Ashley. Great and pure friendliness and know how of local produce and products, attentive and skillful service by Jon, and honest, friendly and humorous attentiveness by Gomtzal, and the rest of the crew we haven’t mentioned. It just feels like you’re staying with best friends. Food is simple yet utterly delicious prepared with local produce, and most importantly with love. My wife and I have had an absolutely amazing time in Antsotegi, and would highly recommend this beautiful rough gem to anyone that’s looking for something different yet of superb quality. Ho soggiornato 1 notte al Bolina mentre percorrevo il Camino de Santiago. L'hotel si trova in una posizione privilegiata a solo mezzo isolato dal Camino nella città vecchia ea questo punto il check-in si effettua tramite il bar dell'hotel. Non c'è ascensore e le camere da letto sono su 3 piani sopra le scale. La mia camera era piccola e il bagno era minuscolo ma avevano tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno per 1 notte. C'era un letto grande e comodo e un supporto che funzionava per tenere la mia borsa aperta. Una piccola scrivania all'estremità del letto era aderente e richiedeva una stretta su un angolo che dia un'idea delle dimensioni della stanza. Tutto era abbastanza pulito se non immacolato. Questo è un vecchio hotel con un po' di ruggine e trasandato generale. La mia camera era molto luminosa con il sole del pomeriggio. Il wifi è pessimo, va e viene in tutte le parti dell'edificio, compresa la camera e il bar. Il bar dell'hotel è molto popolare e affollato, con personale gentile e disponibile, buoni pintxos e posti a sedere all'aperto e al coperto. La mia camera era sul retro dell'edificio e non sentiva alcun rumore dal piano di sotto, ma potevo sentire gli altri ospiti sul pianerottolo - e lo spagnolo può essere molto rumoroso. L'Hotel Bolina è un posto ragionevole in cui soggiornare per una notte se non hai aspettative stravaganti ed è meravigliosamente comodo per l'accesso al Camino.
