If you like going for a walk from your hotel, then forget about this one!!! On top of a very steep hill with steep road going down and when you get down you are on a very narrow busy road with mostly no pavements and nothing nice to look at. When you want to get back up to the hotel, it's very hard work. Just don't bother. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the town centre, on weekdays, very limited on Saturdays and none on Sundays or holidays. On a good day, the last shuttle is about 5.45 back to the hotel. Then you are stuck unless you want to use taxis to and from the town. Puerto del la Cruz centre is about 3 miles down hill to the harbour. You will see it all in a couple hours!!! This area is very cloudy and about 10 degrees cooler than the other side of the island, like Los Christianos and Los Americas which are much more busier, sunnier, warmer and much more to do and see. I really recommend Puerto de La Cruz for just a day trip and no more!!! Because of the mountain range surrounding this area, all the clouds get traped over this area, which means it's much cooler, more cloudy, but more green. If you are looking for sun in Tenerife, then stay in the south of the island. The hotel itself is very dated, you have a small cooker and a sink in a corner with a few kitchen cabinets in dark wood!!! This is not shown in the room pictures!!!! The cooker is not connected, so if you want to use it, you have to hire utensils, pots and plates from the hotel and then they will turn it on!!! There is absolutely nothing in the kitchen, not even a spoon. There is no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel told us, hire a kettle for €4 a day, or upgrade your room to one with tea/coffee making facility for €48 a day!!! Reminds me of Ryan Air, the hotel is cheap, but everything is extra down to netflix!!! On the positive side, the rooms are quite large with a bedroom off the living area. Balcony is a good size too. The hotel is Affiliated to Melia, so don't expect customer service either!!! I won't be back!!!

Un piacevolissimo soggiorno in uno splendido hotel ! Tutto molto bello, dalle camere sempre in ordine alla colazione eccezionale, per tutti i gusti e con un servizio che si distingue per la gentilezza e la cortesia del personale, attento ad ogni richiesta o esigenza. i locali dell'hotel hanno un fascino e una accuratezza di altri tempi, vissuti con molta discrezione e riservatezza. La SPA è fantastica, con un gusto e uno stile 'orientale' molto confortevole. Ottimi anche i servizi di cura e relax per la persona. Una segnalazione particolare per la PR Carla Conde e le le assistenti alla reception Patricia e Laura. Tutte molto eleganti, cortesi e disponibili.

Bellissimo hotel dotato di ogni confort. Le camere sono ampie, molto pulite, dotate di TV, climatizzazione, frigobar e cassaforte. Colazione, pranzo e cena a buffet con una scelta a dir poco impressionante ed un’ottima qualità. Il personale è tutto molto disponibile, cortese ed educato. Non si può pretendere di meglio.

Fortunately I only read the reviews after I had booked. Was a little concerned in view of some of the bad reviews, but in fact the Pez Azul is brilliant, especially in view of the price. The staff without exception are extremely friendly and helpful. I hadn't realized I'd booked a ”low cost” single accommodation, but in fact my accommodation was very spacious with twin beds joined together. I was on the groundfloor and my terrace was surrounded by a garden with tropical plants (and I had view of the Teide). I experienced none of the problems mentioned in some of the negative reviews. The location is super, both for transport: the bus from the airport stops almost outside the Pez Azul . It's a pleasant walk down into town (a bit of a climb on the way back, but if you have walking difficulties, the taxis in Tenerife are very cheap). You can walk to the beautiful Taoro Park (via Calle Belgica it's shorter) and don't miss the ”Jardin de las Orchideas” of Agatha Christie fame , which is a 5 minutes walk from the Pez Azul (Sitio Litre). Closes at 2 pm. What I appreciated most is that, unlike so many places in Spain and especially Tenerife, the Pez Azul doesn't play loud music . If, like me, you want peace and quiet, I would suggest ground-floor, away from the swimming pool. The weather in Puerto is nice all year round: although I went in October, I was able to have a swim in the outdoor pool (the weather was brilliant!) Re. the cockroaches mentioned by some: this is part and parcel of a tropical climate BUT here's the trick: keep the bath and bidet outlet plugged and put a few bayleaves in a small dish: bay is supposed to repel the critters. (The accommodation was clean and I didn't meet any insects!) As someone who previously lived in Puerto de la Cruz for several years and also stayed in hotels most of the year during my tour leader's career, I can honestly say that the Pez Azul is a great choice and gives more than good value for money.

Hotel super comodo. Gente gentile. Wi-Fi va fantastico, importante per me perché devo lavorare. Ho avuto una camera individuale. Pulizia semplice e il letto molto comodo. Non è un hotel di 1 stella. Sono stato in hotel a 3 stelle molto peggio.

The Chineryo Apartments complex is only 13 mi from Tenerife Norte Airport. The Loro Parque Zoo/Theme Park is just over 1.2 mi away.

Truly Anazing Hotel loved every minute of our time there . The rooms are very spacious and have a huge king size bed which is very comfortable and you get to hear the sounds of the Ocean to sooth you to sleep . The reception staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is to die for so much choice to suit everyone and the restaurant staff are so pleasant . Couldn’t have wished for more .
