As non-Spanish speaking guests, we still loved this place! We had the 2 bed apartment with loads of space and cooking facilities, two huge bathrooms with showers in both. The hotel itself had a huge incremental swimming pool was so safe for my 2yr old and 5yr old, plus the baby pool. We used the kids club and Barry disco almost every day, the kids loved it there and even though my son was too small to stay the staff were happy to let us play football with him there and join in on the games! Rafa, Ger and Maria were all fantastic. We were breakfast only guests & it was a short 10-15min distance to walk to the town for dinner. The beach is also on your doorstep, and a supermarket 1min away, what was not to love. One thing to improve is an area for recycling plastic toys. I have seen this in other hotels, rather than bin them if left in the room, create a small reuse area with buckets and footballs that the next family can enjoy. Also less plastic in the fridge, as the hotel already has a water refill area which is amazing but probably under utilized by room guests as it is out in the bar area.. maybe another one needed in reception as an alternative to buying single use plastic. This would improve the positive culture of sustainability mentioned in leaflets left in the room. Overall excellent value for money.

Just back from a fantastic week at Isla Canela Golf Hotel, here follows our review. We were 3 single figure handicap and a 21 handicap golfers from Glasgow area, first time at 4* Isla Canela Hotel and Golf for 6 rounds of golf in late Sept / early October. We booked through Golfbreaks (service from Joey was once again excellent), and would most certainly return to this hotel and the golf courses. Third time to this area of Spain in the last year (previously El Rompido and Islantilla). We had great flights with Ryanair from Prestwick to Faro, all on time. Private minibus transfer from Faro Airport to Isla Canela with Bravo Tur (arranged by Golfbreaks) was just 50 mins along the motorway from Portugal into Spain. Key points were : Staff at hotel and two clubhouses were friendly and attentive at all times. Hotel far better than we had expected, rooms modern and clean, and very quiet. We were on half board, breakfast buffet spot on, it was a set 4 course dinner at night, we'd have preferred a buffet, but could not fault the quality. Restaurant Manager very helpful if you wanted something different which was a nice touch. A pint of Cruzcampo beer was 4.80 euros throughout the hotel and clubhouses. We played the Old Course (300 yards from the Hotel) 3 times and the Links Course (a 10-15 min free of charge mini bus ride away from the hotel), also 3 times. Two very different type of coures, and a pleasure to play both. Both courses in excellent condition, the greens at both were amazing. Buggies were 40 euros each but they had a discount deal of 30 euros per buggy if you booked and prepaid for 10 buggies (which savus us 100 euros), which we did on our first day. No juice buggies on either course, so take plenty of water - it was roasting ! On our last night we went in to the local town of Ayamonte - 10 euro each way in a taxi - place was buzzing - plenty of bars & restuarants all close to the harbour. We found a chinese restuarant and it was excellent. Bars were selling pints of Cruzcampo for 4.00 euros. We should have gone into town more often ! No issues or complaints at all on our golf week, it was excellent, will definately return.

Raccomando l'hotel per un giorno, due ma anche per una settimana. Pulito e tranquillo. Vicino al centro e un tranquillo. Solo non c'è delizioso caffè al mattino. Raccomando

Abbiamo soggiornato in molti Hilton in giro per il mondo ma la nostra prima volta al DoubleTree Islantilla è stata,a dir poco,stupefacente.Premesso che siamo fuori stagione, ti trovi immerso in un contesto gradevole e rilassante ,circondati tra campi da golf e belle villette. La struttura è molto bella,ben curata e dal facile accesso . Si parcheggia all'esterno ma ci sono anche spazi interni a pagamento e un garage sotterraneo . Abbiamo trovato un personale molto cordiale compresi camerieri in sala colazione e le addette alla pulizia delle camere . Gli spazi interni sono ampi,luminosi e arredati con gusto. Ci sono due belle piscine esterne stagionali e una interna riscaldata. Il punto di forza sono le camere .La nostra superior con vista piscina è campi da golf era spettacolare. Arredata con gusto,Modena e con tonalità chiare,accessoriata di tutto e di più di e con un gigantesco letto King con biancheria di qualità . Grande bagno con doccione e climatizzatore silenzioso . Housekeeping puntuale e preciso con ottima pulizia. Avendo la colazione inclusa,dalle 7,30 si accede a un buon buffet con possibilità di farsi cucinare uova in varie maniere. Buona scelta di dolce/salato e ottimi caffè e succhi vari. Considerato il ragguardevole rapporto qualità prezzo e i vantaggi dello status Hhonors Diamond member abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni veramente indimenticabili. Sicuramente torneremo per soggiornare più a lungo nella splendida area di spiagge di Islantilla /Isla Cristina

Una splendida esperienza!!! La camera super bella e confortevole. Mi è piaciuto il bagno, soprattutto il bagno. Viste la piscina dell'hotel e un trattamento eccezionale. Il menu che ci hanno offerto era delizioso e ci è piaciuto che ci fosse animazione, anche se fosse una stagione bassa. Il Spa ha la normale e ci abbiamo fatto un massaggio in un coppia fantastica. Congratulazioni alle due massaggisti! Ci hanno lasciato nuovi !!! Ripetiamo ancora !!!

Scrivi recensione L'hotel si trova al di fuori di Lepe su una strada adiacente che conduce alla spiaggia di Antilla. E' già vecchio e costruito in modo che non sia così caldo in estate. In inverno, tuttavia, è anche abbastanza freddo, così l'aria condizionata correva vigorosamente. La mia stanza era piuttosto buia, che era sulla griglia delle finestre e delle gelosie. Il bagno era grande con bagno. C'era un menu serale per 15 euro che non mi ha promesso. Il colazione ha avuto pane fresco e succo d'arancia fresco pressato, ma non ci sono cibi caldi. Per questo, caffè di fagioli dalla macchina automatica completa. Ci sono molti parcheggi.
