I've just got back from a week all inclusive at this hotel and am struggling to find too many faults! I had quite an early flight so my room wasn't ready when I arrived but I was able to get changed in the toilets and leave my bags in the luggage room. I was very pleasantly surprised with the room - it had clearly been decorated recently as it looked very modern and was very clean throughout. Staying all inclusive, I had a junior suite which came with a separate living area as well as a fridge, a kettle and even a coffee machine. I think there was a freezer compartment but I couldn't get it open. All the self catering rooms are across the road (or through the tunnel). I'm vegetarian and wouldn't say there is a massive choice for us but there is certainly enough to get by, that said most of us tend to eat chips, pizza, bread rolls, rice and pasta anyway! The pizza at every lunch and dinner was definitely a welcome bonus, although I did notice once they put the Margherita pizza on the same serving plate as the meat pizza, which was disappointing as I couldn't have any that time, they should be separated. A special mention has to go to the breakfast, which I thought was fantastic with hash browns, muffins, donuts and that nice currant cake! There is a decent selection of drinks including the usual cocktails and San Miguel beer although I didn't feel the measures were particularly strong. It's an interesting system they have with the sunbeds - they are unlocked at around 10am. They do say you can't reserve sunbeds with your towel so I suppose they are only enforcing this rule. There isn't a great deal of space around the pool so I'd recommend getting there early to get your spot. However, I believe both pools are heated which is great to see. I wouldn't bother bringing your own towels as you can get one there for a 10 euro deposit payable to reception when you arrive - just make sure no rowdy French teenagers try to take it! Despite there not being much room there were always enough sunbeds for how busy it was at the time. The entertainment during both the day and night is fairly basic from what I saw but there did seem to be a kids club and there is a small park and a splash zone for children but it's not turned on all day. Sadly late check-out wasn't available on my last day but I was able to use the shower behind reception. Those with mobility issues (or who are unfit) may not like walking back up the hill from the *****. That said, the way I walked to the marina did include some quite steep parts! Fortunately, it's only a 5 minute walk to the SuperDino to get some crisps for the evening and you do pass some restaurants on the way. I would recommend not getting a transfer and instead getting the 161 bus to and from the airport - it's only 1.40 euro and runs every 30 mins during the week and every hour in the evening and on Saturdays - on Sundays or public holidas you may find the times don't work out as it only runs every two hours. Buon ristorante aperto solo a pranzo in bassa stagione e bella piscina con sauna, purtroppo non sono riuscita ad usufruire la vasca idromassaggio, nonostante molto vicino al caos di Puerto del Carmen è un posto estremamente silenzioso con un letto molto comodo, se mi muniti di auto consiglio di cenare a 'la ermita' a tre km circa ma ne vale veramente la pena, check-in anticipato molto gradito alle ore 11, da ritornare sicuramente!!

We have just got back from a one week stay here with my husband, 13 year old son and parents. The location is good, out of the main ***** but only a 5-10 minute walk. There is a supermarket for basics across the road or a bigger one further down the hill. The apartments are fairly compact, the third person sleeps on the sofa which was also fine. They are basic but have in what you need. The beds/bedding etc are very clean but the floor area not and they are very tired around the floor tiling, dirty skirting boards and are in need of some TLC. Even after the cleaners have been the flooring is not very clean. There is no air con but not really needed as leaving the balcony door open or bed room window allows for some breeze to circulate. The pool area looks nice, the out side bar is good value but no chance you can get a sun bed u less u put your towel on at 630 to 7am despite it being stated in reception the pool does not open u til 930 and beds cannot be reserved. This needs policing as when we were going to the beach 10ish all the bed gone but hardly anyone on them!! The bar staff are lovely and friendly, the reception staff are too but we didn’t need to use reception much tbh. All in all we enjoyed our stay in the resort and the holiday was lovely but so would say the apartments are average at best.
