Although listed as a hotel it is not a hotel per se- more like a self catering family holiday park, albeit an up market one. Our travel agent booked it for us as part of a tour around northern Spain. We had requested only 4 or 5 star hotels. The grounds are beautiful but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The staff were rude, in particular the waitress on the terrace on Saturday evening. Originally we thought it was a language barrier issue but the next day at breakfast she was just as rude - in fact the word we would use is hostile!!! She was surly and severely lacks customer service skills. The receptionist when we checked in could also do with some training in customer service. The property is in a residential area and the restaurant isn’t open in the evening. You can’t even get a soft drink after 8.00pm!! When we did ask for a drink whilst waiting for a taxi we were made to feel like we were asking for the impossible! We were given a one bedroom apartment which was like a tin box. Although it looked quirky it was like a greenhouse! It was stifling and there was no air conditioning. Really - metal room without air con????? We were so so disappointed with our visit and would struggle to recommend it. In all honesty we couldn’t wait to leave. We were so disappointed that we will be suggesting our travel agent thinks twice before booking any one else a room there!!! Not impressed!!!!

Hotel molto bello. Con una vista fantastica sul mare. Località tranquilla, ma vicino ai luoghi da visitare. Camera con molto spazio, con bagno e doccia. Decorazione molto moderna. Colazione fantastica. Non era un buffet, ma una richiesta per la lettera, ma tutto molto ben fatto e in quantità molto generosa. Funzionari molto gentili. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema nella stanza ma erano pronti a risolvere. Ringraziamo la preoccupazione che tutto fosse perfetto per noi.

La posizione è eccellente, nel centro della città vecchia, con negozi, supermercati e ristoranti nelle vicinanze, raggiungibili a piedi. La colazione è ricca, classica colazione spagnola. La camera era pulita e ordinata.

Rooms looking neglected contemporary rooms are difficult to maintain to a high standard,no free water in rooms and no tea or coffee in rooms and no bar facility in hotel anymore. We have been coming here for the past 6 years and noticed the change much better when a Sercotel. To many people on reception male receptionists look totally disinterested except for night receptionist who is fantastic.

Easy to get to from either the airport or train station, prime location on the stunning Riazor beach (if you’re able to, upgrade to a sea view room – the views are spectacular) with plenty of nearby shops/restaurants including a convenience store next L'hotel è stato ampiomente ristrutturato e si può dire – Mi piaceva soprattutto l'area di accoglienza che aveva molti posti confortevoli, come pure computer e materiale di lettura. La stanza stessa era eccellente – pulita, moderna e confortevole con tutte le strutture che avresti aspettato (catadiolo, mini frigo, sicurezza, asciugacapelli, grande TV), anche se la vista stupenda fuori la finestra era il più grande plus. La colazione era fantastica, con opzioni dolci e deliziose, e una cucina. Ho avuto un soggiorno fantastico e vorrei poter stare più a lungo – sarebbe certamente tornato, nessuna domanda.

Pensione economica e ben situata. Il processo di check-in era un po' noioso, perché non c'è nessuno di solito. Ho dovuto chiamare e aspettare (forse 15 minuti?) per qualcuno che mi dasse la chiave. Inoltre, la camera e le strutture sono molto date, ma tutto è stato per lo più pulito e funzionale. Il frigorifero/congelatore ha bisogno di una buona pulizia perché si riduce davvero male e il congelatore è pieno di ghiaccio/congelamento. Sono disponibili secchi per capelli, ma è necessario chiedere uno. Tutti i lavoratori sono molto, molto bello che ha fatto ip per queste cose scomode.

Hotel Lois is located in the city center close to the harbor and the main plaza, Praza de María Pita. The room is stark white with a modern vibe, plenty of storage space, but short on outlets. The room is furnished with a comfortable queen sized bed and a small desk. There was a safe but it was locked. The Wi-Fi connection wasn’t working at first but once we found the right person they were able to reboot it. With the windows closed the room is quiet and dark. The bathroom was good sized for a Euro bathroom, but this may not be standard as it was equipped with fixtures for the disabled. The shower had good hot water and pressure. Not much counter space but a small table next to the sink. The hotel also offers a discount at the nearby Cantones Parking garage, 12 Euros per night instead of 24. The breakfast buffet is good for a hotel of this size and quality including a selection of sliced and whole fruit, cheese and charcuterie, house-made sweets, bread and jams, boxed cereal, bread, nuts and dried fruit, packaged pastry, yogurt and fresh squeezed orange juice. Good coffee is individually made and brought to the table.

Personale molto attento e amabile in tutti i servizi. La posizione completamente centrale accanto alla Corte Inglese e stazione di autobus. Peccato non essere aperto il Sky-Bar al momento del soggiorno e la colazione fuori buffet va da 5 a 9 euro, che mi sembra un po ' costoso. Migliore assumere il buffet al momento del check in che parte per 12 euro.

Deserving a three star rating rather than its actual two stars. Well located for the beach, clean pleasant rooms, friendly staff...there is only one negative, the lack of air conditioning. In fact just changing the room blinds so that you can choose to leave the window a little open for air and make the room dark at the same time would be sufficient. The same every day, but otherwise an excellent breakfast. Don't know if the potato tortilla is home made or bought in, but in any case it's deliciously creamy and eggy, best tortilla ever tasted in a hotel breakfast
