It is with considerable disappointment that I pen this review. Our experience at SANT JORDI, a purported 5-star property, fell drastically short of our expectations and has left us questioning the credibility of its rating. Upon our late-night arrival, we were eager to unwind and revel in the luxury amenities, especially the bathtub, which was a pivotal factor in our selection of this hotel. However, the excitement quickly morphed into disillusionment when we encountered a large, unsightly brown stain on the side of the bath, resembling feces. This egregious lapse in cleanliness prompted immediate communication with the reception, an interaction we hadn’t anticipated. Our subsequent meticulous inspection of the room uncovered more shortcomings: black mold inhabited the shower area, posing a severe health and safety risk. Furthermore, the water tap, when operated, emitted a noise so intrusive that it had the potential to disrupt the slumber of other guests within proximity. These occurrences were not only inconvenient but also reprehensible, considering the supposed standing of the hotel. Our concerns, articulated at check-out, were met with assurances of a full refund for the inconveniences suffered. Despite this promise, the refund is yet to materialize, adding to our grievances. Our stay at SANT JORDI was marred by unacceptable cleanliness standards, glaring maintenance oversights, and unfulfilled promises, all incongruent with the hotel's purported stature. We left feeling deceived and distressed, far from the rejuvenating experience we sought. It's imperative for prospective guests to approach with caution and for the management to institute immediate rectifications, lest the hotel’s reputation suffers irreversible damage. Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆

My main reason for writing this review is to raise my concern for the bed bug situation. I visited this hotel with a party of 6 people and 2 of us were left with bed bug bites (each staying in separate rooms). The food is pretty much your bog standard all inclusive buffet food and I didnt see any problems with it other than if you were someone coming hoping for fry up food in the mornings, bacon looked and tasted strange, mushrooms were okay, no sausages, hashbrowns, tomato’s etc. Rooms were okay other than uncomfortable beds and clear lack of thorough cleaning. Wiped a cotton pad over the wall in bathroom as it looked dirty and sure enough it was turned black. dusty in areas too. Beds are good if you are someone who enjoys a hard bed with one strangely shaped pillow per bed and bedsheet i would call paper thin if i was being generous. Stayed for 7 days, one of the days cleaning staff didn’t even bother to make one of the beds and another day they put the pillow case on inside out. Walls are extremely thin I can hear the person next door talking and coughing all night as well as doors opening and closing. Wifi clearly needs upgrading as it often drops in and out. It is a shame because i truly believe this hotel has a lot of potential but am very confused as to how it’s able to call itself 4 stars.

Ho pernottato un paio di notti in questo hotel e mi sono trovato bene. Posizione strategica vicino alla spiaggia! Buona e ampia la colazione internazionale. Peccato che non ho potuto provare i servizi che offrono( piscina sul tetto e zona relax) causa lavoro! Niente da dire un buon hotel

Estupenda estancia en apartamento Casablanca en Calella, suite totalmente equipada con enseres y mobiliario moderno, baño espectacular y cama muy cómoda, la limpieza también digna de mencionar. La atención del Sr. Jaume espectacular, buena ubicación para visitar la costa del Maresme, 100% recomendable

Ottima struttura e personale molto gentile e professionale. Comodo per la visita di Barcellona, nonostante non sia vicinissimo. Una nota di merito al maitre Jordi, persona molto cordiale e professionale

Un hotel dove si può perdere sempre che si appresta preparato, confortevole e attento per migliaia di opzioni di soggiorno. Facile da parcheggiare, buona qualità-prezzo e in una zona tranquilla per la sua posizione

these apartments were lovely and clean. small balcony but big enough for a table and 2 chairs. these need to be requested and are chargeable at €10 per night. clean bedding and towels every couple of days. the reception staff were friendly and spoke very good English. nothing was any trouble for them. Central location ideal for the shops ,restaurants ,bowling and golf and a short walk to the beach. land train stops around the corner and you can get on and off wherever you wish. the bar staff where incredible in looking after us,bringing food and drinks to the pool side. the pool was clean and was well maintained. my only criticism was the bathroom. the shower curtain didn't reach the end of the rail and flooded the bathroom on first use. the shower periodically fell down when in use. a bin would have been useful, also larger towels, but that is my personal preference. always plenty of hot water. a lovely quiet stay would definitely return.

An excellent hotel with excellent service, I would recommend it to everyone. The room was spacious, clean and had an incredible view of the city and sea... absolutely comfortable and easily accessible, with markets nearby and several restaurants. I thank the staff for their excellent service.
