Sono 3 anni che soggiorniamo al Parador perché ha una posizione a dir poco spettacolare, stanze spaziose e molto pulite, letti comodi e piscina all’aperto che è il top. Questo è il primo anno che avevamo la colazione inclusa e arrivati in sala, vediamo in lontananza la macchinetta del caffè perciò ci dirigiamo la’ con le tazze in mano. Dall’altro lato della sala (enorme e piena di gente) la responsabile ci grida di ritornare al tavolo perché sono loro che ci portano il caffè….imbarazzati al massimo, c’è ne torniamo al tavolo dove arriva dopo poco una giovane carinissima che ci porta il caffè e chiede se vogliamo ordinare delle uova. Ci accorgiamo che in tavola c’è solo zucchero e dolcificante per questo vado al buffet e su un tavolo prendo sale, pepe e una bottiglietta mono dose di olio….sto ancora guardandomi intorno e arriva la capo-sala (stessa che ci aveva urlato) e mi strappa la bottiglietta di olio dalle mani perché “c’è né già un’altra sul tavolo”!!!! Era vero ma non l’avevo notata ma questo non giustifica l’urlare, sgridare, aggredire un cliente….manco è un comportamento accettabile in una trattoria di 5* categoria ma capo-sala al Parador? La Signora all’entrata e tutti i ragazzi giovani in sala sono gentilissimi ma la fulminata davvero dovrebbe darsi una regolata

L'hotel è molto accogliente con un bel giardino. La stanza era pulita, confortevole e spaziosa. È situato sulla strada Il camino così comodo per coloro che fanno quel viaggio. Al fianco dell'hotel c'è un lavandino: molto comodo anche! Il ricevimento è stato bello: l'ospite ci ha riempito le piastrelle e ci ha anche donato nuovi avvocati dal suo giardino. Ho dimenticato il ricaricamento del mio cellulare e ho notato che esso è scomparso solo pochi giorni dopo che sono uscito dall'hotel. Alvaro dall'hotel ha risposto immediatamente alla mia domanda che confermava che il cavo era lasciato nelle loro locali e mi ha promesso di mandarlo indietro. Quando è andato all’ufficio postale più vicino, non accettavano il posta, perché sarebbe stato classificato come un “piccolo pacchetto” Egli è andato al centro della città di Baiona per fare il consegna e non voleva nemmeno che io pagasse per questo. È di gran lunga la cosa più dolce che mi hanno fatto in una lunga lista di hotel che ho visitato. Reception eccezionale, Bruno ci ha ricevuto con una eccellente spiegazione della zona da visitare, sia in mezzi di trasporto che collegavano alla festa dell'Arribada a Baiona, Stampando gli orari di barca e autobus per accertarsi**** dell'evento, a 5 chilometri poteva fare a piedi passeggiando al bordo del mare.La pulizia eccellente e la vista sulle stelle, lo consiglio, peraltro, un riscaldamento degno di ricordare. If you’re doing the Camino Portuguese da Costa and want to get a little further than downtown Baiona, definitely consider waking on to this charming little hotel. The hotel is just a block off the main highway, and the Camino route. The facilities are very modern and comfortable, and the place was super clean. The owner / host, originally from England, has a dry sense of humor, and made me feel immediately welcomed. He was super helpful in recommending services and restaurants in the area. My stay was topped off by a great buffet breakfast before I laced up my shoes to get back on the Camino. I can definitely recommend this place to any and all travelers.

I really enjoyed this place, it was beyond my expectations. The location is really beautiful, nested between the mountain and the coastline in a gorgeous setting. The establishment doesn´t have the swanky atmosphere of others but a rather casual and relaxed vibe. The facitilies are clean and well kept. My room had a nice balcony facing the sea and the views were fantastic. Simple decor and good beds. My reservation included access to the spa. Although it´s not brand new, its rather big, and there are lots of jets and so on. Jets are strong and the water temperature was really ok. The only downside is that your stay is limited, in order to allow other clients come and use the facility. One of the strong points here is food, not only the breakfast -even the orange juice- was very good, the restaurant service was fantastic, which is an important factor if you plan to go on a half-board regime, as the hotel is located by the road: there are some towns around, but you need to go there by car. Food was abundant, well cooked and presented and soft-flavoured. There´s also a beautiful terrace, ideal to enjoy the sunset views as you have a drink with your friends. Nice and efficient staff.

This hotel is well located for walking to shops or the beach. The rooms are very small, but clean. We reserved an ocean view and got an ”ocean is in that direction” view. When I asked about it at the front desk, the clerk shrugged and said ”All the rooms on the 3rd floor are full”. We were on the 1st Floor. Ocean views are probably possible on the 2nd floor, as well, but not the first. We did have a small patio area where we could sit outside and catch the ocean breezes. Parking is provided in a private and gated lot. Spaces are small and it's a bit tricky to get in and out, but provided and secure. We stayed there for a wedding at the nearby (and fgorgeous) Pazo de Cea. It was a quick taxi ride there and a nice 15-ish minute walk back, so very convenient. Hotel was very basic, but clean and comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel is open for breakfast, at your own cost. Great avocado toast and coffee.
