The rooms are quite nice and the food is excellent. Maybe a duvet wouldn't go amiss but overall we were very happy with the service and had our best meal in a week in Spain. The breakfast is generous and varied and was a mix of hot and cold dishes. Dinner was sublime - the scallop and fruit salad was excellent, while the sage and butter and ricotta and spinach ravioli was very tasty. The pork steak was mouth watering. I definitely will eat here and visit again.

My wife and I stayed at La Bobadilla for 6 nights (4th to 9th Sep) and treated my son and his new wife to join us for a honeymoon vacation (4th to 8th Sep). During this period the hotel grounds including the entire pool area and outdoor eating spaces were plagued by wasps. As a result, what was meant to be a relaxing week was turned into a nightmare particularly for my son and his wife. On one occasion they even had to call members of staff to have a hornet removed from their room. After that they kept the doors to their patio closed for the rest of the stay. On a number of occasions, we were made aware by members of staff that the area around the hotel was suffering the same increase of wasp infestation and despite professional services to remove them from the hotel grounds they were not being very successful. Apparently, and more disconcerting, we were informed that this is an annual problem and that this year was particularly bad since there had been little rain in the area. After we left, I wrote to the hotel and received what was clearly a template response as they even apologised for us being ‘inconvenienced by the event we held at the hotel’ during our stay when I hadn’t made comment about that. Another party obviously had! Now the good. The hotel is magnificent and the staff polite and extremely helpful and were it not for the wasps this would have been a delightful stay. However, we spent a lot of money and had we been informed prior to our stay that there was such a problem we could have made alternative arrangements. Clearly, from a commercial perspective, that is not what the hotel would have wanted but surely it would have been the right thing to have done?

Picked up hire car in Malaga and used this hotel as base for trips to Ronda, Cordoba and Granada as it was central for them all and near to main motorway network. Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely big room (121) with balcony and an excellent breakfast. Hotel is on edge of town and taxi will cost 10 Euros each way...town is beautiful too and well worth a visit. I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again if I was touring Andalucia.

Il lato più vicino di Antequera (a differenza di Parador) è che si può facilmente camminare in città. L'Antequera è molto diversa in stile, un approccio molto più moderno che funziona anche. Più piccole camere ma adeguate, nessuna installazione di tè o caffè ma c'è un piccolo minibar frigo. Le camere sono ben progettate doccia sopra il bagno, le sue baie, il bagno e il bidet. Il colazione è anche un affare molto più piccolo di Cordoba, ma anche buono, vale la pena notare che deve specificare il tempo di tempo che si attende. Parcheggio gratuito sul sito. Camminare facilmente in città. Mercato chiuso il martedì. Purtroppo nessun doccia o zona di cambiamento, quindi questo potrebbe essere problematico se avete un volo successivo. Il punto di notazione è che la piscina è molto profonda, iniziando a circa 1.5 e arrivando a oltre 2 m, quindi è sicuramente più di una piscina che di una piscina standing / relax. Il tempo dell'acqua è buono e tutta la zona è pulita senza spot. La tovagliola è stata raccolta e ritornata nella zona di accoglienza.
