Cute, charming property, however the service was HORRIBLE. The owner even screamed at me! We were a group of 12 people walking the Camino. The first person of my group arrived by herself, and they didn’t want to send her a taxi as it was promised on the reservation. They said that they don’t send taxis for just one passenger, and this client Sofia, had to wait two hours for her parents to join her, and then, the hotel sent the taxi. She was by herself two hours in a restaurant without knowing what to do. The booking company never informed us that in order to receive a taxi a minimum of guests was required. The waiter at the restaurant at dinner times was distracted, mixing orders, and trying to convince one of my clients that he can’t take a Martini and a glass of wine at the same time! One or the other! Who cares! If the client pays for both drinks, the waiter is nobody to be judging a client’s drinking behavior. One of the guests requested salt three times for French fries, with no results. He finally went to another table to ask other hotel guests for the salt they had in their table. And I can continue for hours describing the lack of professionalism in this place. We are all Spanish speaking, therefore no language barrier. The owner, as I said, he was very arrogant and uneducated. I was talking to him, standing by his table, while he was eating cheese and bread. He never stopped eating and/or invited me to the table, and/or standing so he can be talking to me at the same physical level (basic rules of education); I addressed the taxi situation in addition to the fact that they left my luggage into another client’s room, making this totally inappropriate for them and for me. Can you imagine if there was something missing from our suitcase? Who is responsible? Well, this man said that it was this client’s fault to “accept” these suitcases into their room. Unbelievable!! He was one of these persons “My way or the highway.” Rooms have no AC, no elevator, and no phones! I had one towel only for two guests, and when I was in the shower, I noticed it and there was no phone to call the receptionist. The shower gel dispenser was empty. The room was not clean. When I addressed these issues to the lady in the morning at checkout (I am suspicious that she was his wife) she just said “Vale” (Ok) No apologies, she was not surprised, and she mentioned that if I wanted another towel, I should have used my cellular. I replied that making an international phone call to request a towel was totally unthinkable. Last, we were “lucky” to have the owner driving us back to the Camino. He never opened us the door, or the trunk; never helped with our luggage; he was comfortable seated by the wheel all the time. And he drove us super-fast to intimidate us. Terrible! Stay away from this place.

a very nice and cozy hotel Fall in love with it at first sight. The staff was very nice too. Introduced everything we need know for our few days' trip in Santiago. Only 10 to 15 mins away from Cathedral.

This is one of the hotels that is a one night stay for Trafalgar's ”Treasures of Spain & Portugal” tour, as well as where dinner was held. The dinner was absolutely pathetic and 100% of the group was wondering ”Is this it?” Asking for more salad and bread was met with rejection and asking to turn off the AC was also met with denial. The request for a Fruit Salad for a vegan guest was an unpeeled orange, apple and some grapes. The salad was enough for maybe 6 of the 12 guests/table, the entree was some seafood soup that had 95% potatoes and a tiny fraction of a mussel and shrimp. If you were lucky, you got a few peas also. Be warned. The room itself was okay though many guests complained that the AC was erratic. However, it was clean and functional.

Bad,, Bad... Bad... Che stupido pezzo di stupido questo hotel è. I ricevitori erano grandi, ma poi le cose vanno in collina da quel punto in poi voglio usare la bagno nel lobby, ma è sotto servizio. E' cordonato per, ma nessuno lavora lì per ore. E quando funziona, è solo per una persona al momento. Non c'è urina. Mi hanno dato la stanza 115. Ho camminato e ho sentito il buco del pavimento. C'è una bolle e nemmeno. A mio parere, questa stanza non dovrebbe essere affittato a nessuno. Poi il wifi non ha funzionato. Poi il doccia capo è libero e l'acqua si spray in tutto il luogo. Le lamiere della porta si chiude e si può sentire la lamiera della porta in qualsiasi momento. L'hotel è un po' lontano dal centro. Il colazione ha ham e formaggio, quindi è abbastanza adeguato. Per quello che ho ottenuto, non può pagare a nessuno più di 30 Euro per notte a causa di quanto sopra. Il più fastidioso è il WiFi. Quando ho detto al ricevitore, ha detto che ora funziona, che è Bull S _ _ _. Non ha mai funzionato e se, quando ha funzionato, ha funzionato sporadicamente. Direi non restare lì, a meno che l'unica opzione sia dormire su un banco di parcheggio. Che modo per finire il mio Camino. Una pensione a Pedrouzo che costa molto meno, ma di una dimensione migliore in servizio.

Love this hotel as it is modern and clean but has all the things you need for a holiday. Great staff and a very good breakfast buffet. Hotel is large and clean. The rooms are fine and well priced and clean. Staff will sort you out with items you may need. Hotel has safes in each room and 24 hour porter. I like the gardens in summer. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good location for walking to city centre.
