Era molto buona qualità prezzo

Sono stato eccitato per le recensioni degli altri, ma non ha rispettato le nostre aspettative, purtroppo. La proprietà sembra grande, è stata aggiornata, e è ben mantenuta. Avevamo una suite di terrazza al terzo piano con un tubo caldo. Tuttavia, ci sono stati diversi problemi. Camera: la pressione dell’acqua è bassa e quasi si riscalda. Ho chiesto al dipartimento di fronte di guardare la pressione dell’acqua e non c’era nulla fatto o seguito. La costruzione della porta accanto, che era molto rumoroso dalle 8:45 (anche il sabato), ha eliminato anche qualsiasi privacy sulla terrazza. Non c'è isolamento sonoro, quindi abbiamo sentito ogni persona e conversazione che si verifica fuori dalla stanza nella hall. Non ci sono serviti asciugamani. Devi chiedere un tavolo di ferro/acciaio. Non parlano inglese, quindi ho dovuto andare al seminterrato con il tipo di manutenzione per trovare uno, che abbiamo tenuto nella stanza. Personale: lentamente, inattivamente, ha difficoltà a chiudere i controlli.Abbiamo aspettato almeno dieci minuti ogni volta che volevamo chiudere un conto. Devi alzarti e trovarli per ordinare, ecc. Non sorvegliano la sala da pranzo o il bar al tetto abbastanza per controllare.Proprietà: ben posizionata per camminare a molti ristoranti, ecc. La palestra è orribile. È la dimensione di un bagno e contiene una bicicletta con un fan-operato da una batteria, che non era carica, un treno rotto, una palla di medicina, e peso libero. Bar di tetto & piscina: Alcuni film notturni sono proiettate su una grande panchina di seta. La piscina non ha nulla di ombra. Ci sono poche sedie da soggiorno con non più di due ombrelli. Preparetevi a bruciare. Non hanno politiche coerenti per le feste, chiusura e rumore. Una festa è stata autorizzata fino alle 2:00 e abbiamo dovuto sopportare ogni conversazione che si svolgeva dopo le 2:30. Non mi fermerò di nuovo.

Successivamente ad un errore commesso alla ricezione, ho beneficiato di un sovraclassamento, che mi ha permesso di scoprire le piani premium dell’hotel. Le camere non si distinguono molto da quelle delle altre piani. Ma il servizio del tetto superiore è molto più personalizzato, la vista è meravigliosa. Ho molto amato l’esperienza.

La vista dalla finestra della camera, letteralmente affacciata sull'oceano, vale quasi da solo il costo neppure esorbitante di una notte in questo gradevole hotel sul Malecon di Santo Domingo. L'albergo è molto classico, con una bella piscina sulla terrazza sempre affacciata sul mare, camere abbastanza ampie, funzionali e tranquille, una palestra ed un paio di ristoranti con ampie vetrate sul mare, uno a la carte l'altro a buffet adibito anche per una colazione di buon livello. Devo dire che una breve e doverosa sosta nella bella capitale coloniale trova un'ottima soluzione in questo Catalonia in particolare in termini di rapporto qualità prezzo, davvero eccellente. E poi la vista, specie dalle camere site ai piani più alti è impagabile.

The Intercontinental in Santo Domingo provided not only the best location for business, pleasure and shopping, but the customer service is simply exceptional. I stayed for over 10 days on business and personal matters. Enjoyed the gym and the pool overlooking the city, the flawless rooms …and the best sushi bar in the city. The desserts at the restaurant are memorable. Special thanks to the employees at the desk who helped me and went out of the way when I lost my laptop charger (so profesional) and to the helpful limo driver Sr. Norberto. I have stayed at the Intercontinental in São Paulo and San Pedro Sula and they are also excellent. The experience in Santo Domingo was the best. Highly recommended!

Ottimo servizio Personale super disponibile Camere spaziose con letto matrimoniale, super pulite. Al check in forniscono ai clienti un kit anti COVID (Mascherina + Disinfettante mani). Menù contactless sia per la colazione che per il ristorante. Check out tra le 12:00 e le 13:00 è comodo ma questo significa che rifanno le stanze alle 15:00 e se volete riposare a quell’ora diventa un po’ scomodo. Wi-Fi che copre senza problemi ogni angolo della struttura. Disponibili postazioni internet con pc e stampanti. Nei pressi della struttura c’è un autonoleggio, un parrucchiere, un negozio d’abbigliamento da Donna e l’immancabile casinò. Situato nella zona del lungomare risulta un po’ distante dal centro. Occhio ai prezzi del ristorante (più caro rispetto a quelli che potete trovare girando per Santo Domingo) anche se la qualità del cibo è molto buona.

Stayed here as part of a medical service trip to the DR so we had 6 rooms for one night each at the beginning and end of the trip. We were welcomed with a warmth that is typical for the DR but there were a couple of problems on initial check in. Note that, like many hotels, not all rooms have two double beds and this was an issue for us, since our volunteers share rooms. This took some time and resulted in four of us being walked to another, nearby Hodelpa. Note that, even if you reserve a specific type of room, it pays to double check availability if this is important. There is a small, well managed parking lot at the hotel but the emphasis is on small. If you arrive by car, as we did, they will take your keys so they can move cars in and out of the tight space. There is a pay to park parking lot a couple of blocks away should the hotel spaces be full. The cost for this is nominal. Reception is airy and comfortable, with places for people to sit whilst other members check in. Once checked in, the rooms are accessed via a stairwell or a tiny elevator that reminds me of those one finds in Parisian hotels of a certain age. No room for more than 3 people, fewer with luggage. Also, the stairs seem to finish on the third floor despite there being rooms on the 4th! When you reach the top of the stairs on the third floor, you need to turn right, and double back on your self to find the stairs that lead to the 4th. Trust me, this is not intuitive! The rooms are functional but clean and comfortable. The bed in which I slept allowed for a great night's sleep and all was quiet which is a boon in SD which can be someone noisy especially in the evenings. I am not sure all rooms would be similarly quiet, but the street on which the hotel sits is relatively peaceful despite its proximity to the colonial center. Breakfast is provided and was excellent indeed. Plenty of choice and well staffed. There is a small patio area outside which is the pick of the available places to eat breakfast I reckon. Good choice of hot and cold foods were offered. Upon check out we were charged for eating a packet of ”Cheese-Its” from the room, which we had not consumed. One of the most annoying things in a hotel is having to argue you had NOT done something, especially taking things from the minibar, which I almost never do due to the high price of said items. I hate it when hotels make these phantom charges and, frankly, it happens about 30-40% of the time in hotels and necessitates an argument where one has to prove oneself innocent. Tiresome, even if it is only a few dollars each time. However, I would stay here again, it is a great base for the colonial center and very good value too.

Servizio personalizzato, eccellente sempre con il miglior interesse del cliente. Poiché gli ascensori sono piccoli, i dipendenti uscirebbero dall'ascensore e camminavano in alto o in basso per seguire le regole Covid.. Il buffet per colazione aveva una grande varietà che ha cambiato leggermente da giorno a giorno. Il menu del pranzo è variato e il cibo è fresco e ben preparato. I locali sono puliti la stanza che avevo avuto era spaziosa. Piscina sul tetto non c'è niente da scrivere a casa, ma è disponibile. Personalmente ho trovato che piscina/bar area un po' graziosa e il drink di bassa qualità e costoso. La zona di ginnastica è fuori dall'edificio e non il migliore. Ho vissuto in un altro hotel di nome grande, torno al W&P per certo. Era davvero buono valore.
