Das Residenz Limburgerhof ist ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel. Sicherlich als Kurzurlaubs- und Seminarhotel konzipiert, kann man hier wie wir, angenehme Tage verbringen. Ein freundlicher Empfang, mit Sektbegrüßung, eröffnet den Kurzurlaub. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Matrazen für unsere Bedürfnisse sehr gut. Zimmer und Bad sind zwar nicht groß, aber es ist alles vorhanden was man zuhause auch hat. Besonders erwähnenswert ist das überdurchschnittliche Frühstück, was keine Wünsche offenläßt. Es sei denn man erwartet Kaviar oder Hummer. Die akurate, übersichtliche und hygienisch einwandfreie Anordnung der Speisen fiel positiv auf. Insbesondere sind leicht verderbliche Waren in einem ”Kühltrog”gelagert, der in der Anrichte eingebaut ist. Für uns ein erwähnenswertes hygienekriterium.

Oggi la prima volta in questo luogo fantastico è stato colazione e già per la prossima volta tutta la famiglia è stata invitata. Una vasta selezione, alta qualità e tutto super fresco. L'hotel è piuttosto invisibile dall'esterno ma all'interno super moderno, curato e pulito. Alternative latte, così come glutine-free su ordinazione sono anche disponibili. Siamo molto felici di aver trovato questo posto. Il signor Ebnet è stato molto precoce e gentile.

We travelled to Ludwigshafen for business and looked for hotels near to the work premises, unfortunately the 'Excelsior Hotel' was first in the list. At only 90 euros a night (including breakfast) it is no doubt a 'budget' option, but it isn't budget in the respect of a Travelodge or Premier Inn, instead it's a lost hotel in a pretty unpleasant area which has been left to decay. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station, graffiti-covered walls surround the hotel, and the first impression of the hotel visually is not a positive one, it's hard to even find the way in, amongst scaffolding and concrete jungle. At night, it's a fairly unsafe-feeling area, with people 'hangin around' looking suspicious. The one positive aspect upon booking was the 'Skybar', however digging deeper into reviews, it's clear that it's been closed long before the 'pandemic', infact 4 years ago, and upon arrival we were informed that it's still closed with no future planned. There is no restaurant onsite, nor bar besides a mini-fridge sat on the reception desk with a few bottles of beer available. Upon check-in, I was also asked for my 'date of birth' and home address, which often feels irrelevant, I refused to give such details. Once in the room, via the lift which takes about 5 minutes to arrive and to move, there's no air conditioning which during 32c weather was painful, but fortunately there was a fan. The room size isn't bad at all and the bed was comfortable, but the presentation of the room, as a new guest, wasn't considerate. A pile of electrical extension and cables was next to my bed, not tucked away out of sight. The internet connection was virtually useless in the afternoon/evenings after guests start to utilise it, I resorted to using mobile data instead. There are balconies, but they're just concrete and far from cosy, although the view over the city isn't at all bad. There is no furniture and in addition from a security aspect someone could easily go from their balcony to yours, therefore always be sure to lock and chain the balcony door when not in the room, or at night. At night, you can hear noise from neighbouring rooms, above, below and to the sides, I am also fairly sure that I had 3 'bed-bug' bites from my two night stay at the hotel. Breakfast was included in my 90 euro rate and the breakfast restaurant isn't bad, the service is friendly but the choice is limited, a few cold options and minimal hot options, no bacon or sausages unfortunately. It was a little off-putting to see mouse-traps being laid around the restaurant while I was sat trying to enjoy my meal. While away from the hotel, I left the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, despite this upon return later that afternoon the cleaner had been into the room and cleaned, this is not acceptable when the message is clearly made that the room should not be disturbed. Hotel carino, quando la nostra vita quotidiana può sicuramente portarci un punto in più per la piscina e la sauna.

Room temperature was just fine, parking is a slight hassle because the parking garage is situated 100m away by foot, thus, luggage handling is less convenient. Hotel staff are friendly. Breakfast choices are meager but doable.

Die Zentrale Lage und die gute Verkehrstechnische Anbindung waren für mich ausschlaggebend dieses Hotel zu wählen. Die Damen am Empfang waren sehr freundlich und der Checkin sehr unkompliziert. Das Zimmer war geräumig und hatte alles was man braucht. Auch die Sauberkeit war absolut in Ordnung. Die Rhein Galerie und Einkaufstrasse liegen nur ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Parkmöglichkeiten sind im Hoteleigenen Parkhaus oder gegenüber vorhanden (ca. 7€/ Nacht) Das Frühstücks Angebot war bescheiden aber Qualitativ in Ordnung.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti, ho chiesto una stanza tranquilla che non guardava la strada, per evitare il rumore, e mi hanno dato una che guardava un patio interno, estremamente tranquillo (le finestre sono anche sonore). La stanza aveva 4 letti. Era abbastanza pulito. Molto pochissimi giardini, se questa stanza fosse occupata da 4 persone. Il bagno aveva abbastanza asciugamani, un sapone liquido eccellente e un asciugacapelli. Nessun shampoo, nessun cappotto da doccia, solo le basi. Buona camicia di duvet. Ci era anche TV via cavo. Quando sono arrivato tardi la notte, ho controllato la macchina automatica senza problemi. Ingressi nella stanza con un codice, quindi non c'è bisogno di gestire le chiavi. La mia unica preoccupazione per l'hotel: la sicurezza. Sono arrivato alle 12 e le due porte di entrata sono state aperte. Nessuno può entrare e salire alle stanze ... Pochi dipendenti nella reception e nella sala colazione. Mi chiedevo se forse fosse un po' troppo costoso, visto che hanno pochi dipendenti e forniscono solo servizi di base, le camere non hanno caldaia elettrica né frigorifero.
