Devo subito dire che non ero alloggiato li ma ho usufruito di alcuni servizi dell'Hotel. Colazione :ogni mattino andavo li a fare colazione perche' era l'unico posto dove trovavo latte e qualche brioches,se vogliamo definirle tali. C'era la marmellata ma non avevano nemmeno il pane tostato. Parliamo di un hotel che si definisce a 5 stelle. WI-FI: si possono collegare solo i clienti,in precedenza non era cosi,tutti si potevano collegare pur pagando molto. RISTORANTE PIZZANOVA : Ci sono andato con una amica e le sua figlie adolescenti. A parte la pizza scadente e il costo elevato non c'erano ne' bibite ne' succhi di frutta ...solo acqua e birra. E ricordiamolo ancora,parliamo di un hotel che si definisce a 5 stelle. PISCINA : ingresso 3000 pesos cubani pero' con pranzo incluso. A pranzo una bottiglietta di acqua piccolissima (naturale,non avevano la gasata),una minestra immangiabile e un pesciolino. La temperatura dell'acqua era incredibilmente alta,le scalette incandescenti,si rischiava seriamente l'ustione. La sensazione prevalente era di incuranza. In definitiva do 3 stelle per il servizio comunque sempre attento e la presenza del latte,difficilissimo da trovare a Santiago,anche negli hotel,pero' da un 5 stelle si pretendono perlomeno i servizi essenziali e che un ristorante come il Pizzanova abbia le vivande fondamentali.

Grazie, il personale del ristorante (Colazione) al 5° piano: il cuoco Emilio, i barista Kevin, Milagros, Carlos, Aleksander e Yariza - per il vostro servizio rapido, attento e amichevole.Il personale front desk è il viso dell'hotel e delle squadre di I ricevitori Dailin e Emilio sono sempre pronti a assistere e il loro servizio è stato eccezionale! The Hotel La Gran Piedra, is located in the mountain range of Gran Piedra in the Sierra Maestra. It is located at a distance of 26 km from the city of Santiago de Cuba. Its environment conserves an abundant flora and fauna of significant endemism. Its height exceeds 1234 meters above sea level, being very attractive the huge rock that crowns the peak of the highest mountain of the mountain range and whose estimated weight is close to 75000 Tons. This feature places it in the third position of the largest solid rocks in the world within the list of Record Gines. The Hotel also has the privilege of being within the territory declared a World Biosphere Reserve and surrounded by ruins of coffee plantations founded by French settlers, declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. You can access unique sites a few meters from the hotel, including the "La Isabelica" Museum, the only one of its kind in the entire Caribbean basin, the attractive Botanical Garden "Ave del paraíso" among others.
