4,5/5,00 O Best Western Estacíon Central é um ótimo hotel. Ele possui quartos amplos e é bem confortável. O café da manhã é servido até às 10h e é bem farto, conta com variedades de frutas, cereais, pães, frios, ovos e linguiça. Os funcionários são bem receptivos e atenciosos. Eles disponibilizam uma marmitinha de café da manhã (sache de café, chá,fruta, sanduíche, iogurte) para que você possa levar no dia dos passeios, basta solicitar até as 21h na recepção. A região realmente não é boa mas o hotel conta com seguranças a disposição caso precise esperar algum uber ou taxi do lado de fora. Foi bem tranquilo pedir carros de aplicativo tanto durante o dia quanto durante a noite. Próximo ao hotel há uma estação da Turbus (estação alameda) e tem um metrô do outro lado da rua

Got this hotel because of proximity to bus station. Area is very dodgy as described by other reviews. There is a security guard walking around inside the restaurant and lobby which is reassuring. Food is poor but appears to be popular with other customers. The lunch special was not good and breakfast looked so so. Staff all very young and I found them not particularly friendly. They appeared overworked and not happy in their jobs. You get what you pay for.

We stayed twice at the hotel during our visit to Chile. Rooms are adequate and as expected. The people are the best and so helpful just great. Even if your Spanish is wanting you will be served well; and if a misunderstanding occurs, it will we rectified. The hotel is in an interesting neighborhood and close to the Metro. One important issue: there are no sign to indicate that you are at the hotel; apparently the neighborhood building code does not permit it. Be reassured the address is correct, you just have to cross what looks like a bicycle parking lot for ubereats or grubbhubs…An alternative is Romero 2828 during daylight.

Hotel molto accogliente. ricevimento è stato molto attento, strutture ben pulite. Camera con riscaldamento e bagno ben caldo. Acqua, succo e caffè a volontà tutto il giorno vicino alla ricevimento. Grazie specialmente a Juan per la cura.

Architecturally the building is very beautiful, the interior is very nice but our room was tiny. We booked the Araucaria double room which although nice, it was super small. Even if you have just two small cabin trolleys, you suffer opening them and keeping things in order. If you are having an overseas journey? Forget this room. Either book a suite or go elsewhere. That was our case; with two suitcases each person was a burden. Literally, we ended up jumping over the suitcases in the room (even keeping them closed), hitting on them exiting the bathroom etc. No coffee facilities in the room. No fridge. Come on! A hotel like this one, you expect these facilities and they are not considered anymore luxury to have them in a hotel room. The area the hotel is located is not the best. We didn't face any incident walking around but you feel weird and unsafe with the people frequenting around this area. I'm saying this as we stayed also elsehwere in Santiago and I can compare. The breakfast was poor. We had the absolute necessary and nothing more. It was of the poorest breakfasts we had during our three weeks holidays in Chile. No elevator, alhough they have a backdoor elevator (via the kitchen) for the luggages only. The girl at the reception was very sweet and helped us with our baggage. But again, if you stay on the 3rd floor and you have to go all these stairs up is an issue if you are having kinetic problems. It's not disable friendly.I'm just thinking elder people or people with problems. Closing I would like to note the noise you get from the nearby rooms. Not only because of the guests (as this you cannot control), but the fact that you hear everything. There are room doors really sticked next to each other. We were staying on the 3rd floor and because the floors crack while walking, the hotel tries to accommodate the people at the last floor so they don't get annoyed by the walking sound and crackings if staying on lower level rooms. We noticed this because the hotel was empty, there were 3 rooms and all of us on top floor one next to each other. Waking up in the middle of the night from noises of other guests moving in and out of their rooms is not funny. Planning our trip we booked two nights at this hotel and then, after a journey to the north Chile we would return to stay more four nights. We were wowed by the comments and photos. But, once there, leaving the hotel after the experience of the two nights and considering all the parameters mentioned above, we canceled our booking of four nights and stayed elsewhere. Overrated and I think it's all because of the building design. But in my opinion, that's all.
