Un capo gestisce un hotel pulito e un ristorante al primo piano, haha.Un capo molto interessante, la stanza dell'hotel non è buona, principalmente il paesaggio e il balcone sono molto sorpresi, l'apparecchiatura della stanza non è buona, la colazione dell'hotel è buona, è troppo redditizia. C'è un negozio di pizza per pochi minuti a piedi!

The Seeblick Hohenhotel forced myself my group of 40 teenagers to sleep overnight in UNLOCKED rooms because they were so worried about not getting their keys back for an early checkout that they forced our entire group to turn in keys by 9 PM. I turned my key in and let them know my feedback and was told it was my tour directors fault for not providing some collateral beforehand and 'making new keys is expensive'. The doors do not lock without a key, not even from the inside. Hohenhotel, those details should have been worked out beforehand. That is not our tour directors fault that you panicked at the minute, and the solution to that issue is not forcing 40 foreign teenagers to sleep in unlocked hotel rooms with their persons, belongings and passports. I don't care how expensive your fancy keys are. Or maybe just invest in some keycard readers and join the rest of the 21st century so you don't have to deal with that cost anymore. Imagine sleeping at a hotel where you can't lock your own door. Absolutely unacceptable.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti.Abbiamo scelto una camera con vista ”montagna”. La camera è ben decorata, con un divano adatto al letto 3 (se necessario). La camera è così piccola che il lavabo è nella stessa stanza. Poiché la casa è una vecchia casa, le finestre sono piuttosto piccole, quindi la stanza tende a essere buia. Non c’è frigorifero e non c’è aria condizionata. Abbiamo ricevuto una piccola bottiglia d’acqua ogni giorno. La custodia della casa era a basso costo, come si può testimoniare il piccolo punto di muffa sul pavimento che abbiamo fatto il primo giorno e per tutta la nostra permanenza. La vista ”montagna” era bella, ma non tranquilla come si dà sul parcheggio e l'ingresso principale. Ci sono state tutte le notti le molestie di ”good people”! Il colazione era buona. La grande scelta di latte, carne fredda, salmone fumato, formaggio locale, yogurt e muesli. Potete avere uova (omelette, uova fritte, cotte), ma è necessario compilare un modulo per avere. Fate il lavoro del cameriere! La piscina con il piccolo spa è bello dopo un giorno di cammino. L'hotel ha bisogno di alcuni miglioramenti per essere un hotel davvero buono, ha il potenziale.

I stayed at the Engel as part of a leger Luxuria tour in June 2024. On arrival the lovely lady that owns the hotel checked us all in swiftly and I had been allowed a room with a shower as previously requested. It was a good size room and nicely decorated. I had a Juliet balcony also. There were 2 comfy twin beds and a tv. If like me you suffer with the heat take a fan as there is no fan or air conditioning at the hotel. I ended up buying a fan on our first day out. You will also need the 3 pin Swiss plug adapters as the thicker 2 pin euro plugs do not fit in the sockets. Adapters can be bought locally for around £7 and the hotel reception also loaned me one for my stay. Breakfast was not a huge choice but enough to get by on for the week - eggs, bread, some cereals, yoghurt, fruit and cheeses/meats. I found dinner a bit more hit and miss for me as I am limited on what I can eat. I cannot have meat or fish, which on two nights was the only main option so I ended up not having the main meals. Soup was offered in replacement. The bar was reasonably priced and the house beer was very nice. The outside seating was nicely placed with good views of the hills/mountains. The staff are all friendly and very attentive. The room was cleaned well daily and I had no issues in respect of cleanliness. Be aware that there is not a huge amount to do locally. I took the cable car up on a leisure day and there is a restaurant at the top with some beautiful walks back down. There is just the one small supermarket locally and no other shops that I saw. It’s a good base to see Switzerland and I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel and extend my thanks to the owner for a lovely stay.

La struttura si caratterizza per l'ottima qualità dei servizi offerti. La nostra camera (eravamo i 3 persone) era molto ampia e aveva due ambienti separati ciascuno dotato di bagno indipendente. Letti comodissimi, pulizia impeccabile estanza molto silenziosa. Spicca l'uso della domotica nei servizi dell'albergo. Piccolo neo nella colazione gluten free che, visto il livello della struttura, richiederebbe maggior varietà di scelta per il cliente e informazioni facilmente reperibili sull'eventuale presenza di glutine negli alimenti.

Beautiful location. View is simply unbelievable! If you want a luxury room this isn’t place for you but room was clean and bed was super comfortable. We hd a road room but the window also looked over the lane so we were very lucky. Ate one night in restaurant. Food was nice but not outstanding. Our shower holder was broken so I was soaked when I turned it on. After that we hd to hand shower. Not the worst thing. Funny smell in shower too although it was clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Hotel is just locking a little bar area for guests to have an evening drink as there isn’t ich about area. Used the venicular and took a boat trip around the lake. Simply stunning!! Would definitely go back 😀

Such a great reassurance of Swiss Quilty renommé that is world-wide brand.... My spouse came for business reasons in the region and we chose Nidwadnerhof by internet. Indeed, position on the lake side was truely an advantage, but what convinces us is the quality of services and management that combines high professsionalism and friendly, yet not superficial way of dealing with clients. Comfort of rooms and cleaness is impecable, excellent quality of food from breakfast choice to a romantic dinner under table lights. Choice of quality wine is... divine. Excellent wines from Switzerland but also France,Italy, Spain, Portugal.... kept in best conditions in the climatized wine-cellar. It is certainly not going to be our only stay, so we say to the owners and their collaborators: see you soon.

The Staff are so friendly and helpful. They were able to store our baggage until the room was ready. Thier outdoor cafe overlooks Lake Lucerne and they offer English menus. the staff are first rate. Then you get your room,,, Amazing. Very spacious and the view from your patio is non-stop beauty. The location is easy access to the train station, many restaurants. there are a lot of excursions on the lake available. Did I mention the view from your balcony?

This was a last minute booking for us and the price and location were really good before a day trip into Lucerne. Liked the location immediately, even in drizzling rain.We had a big balcony room overlooking the garden and lake.Very nice to arrive at after coming from Lake Maggiore and a long drive. The decor is fairly modern and it doesn't have charm as such but it was a quiet room with enough space. Buffet breakfast next morning was a bit of a highlight, especially since it was free and included! We never did get used to Swiss food prices during our trip. Easy to find and an easy drive into Lucerne next day.

Lage vom Hotel nur ein paar Schritte vom See in Brunnen entfernt. Zimmer sind einfach aber sauber eingerichtet. Kleines Körbchen mit Pflegeartikeln als kleine Aufmerksamkeit bereit gestellt. Morgenessen war ausreichend, für jeden etwas dabei. Mein Zimmer war im Nebengebäude neben dem Hauthaus. Man musste ein Treppe hinauf gehen und es war sehr eisig an diesem Tag, leider wurde kein Salz gestreut und es war teilweise sehr glatt auf der Treppe. Ansonsten nichts zu bemängelt
