Loc Super convenient location on the corner of Jephson St and Sherwood Rd, with the popular Toowong Village Shopping Centre, a 10 minute walk away. The Toowong railway station can be accessed directly from the shopping centre. There are plenty of buses trundling up and down Sherwood Rd heading in various directions to the city or to the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre further south. The nearest ferry terminal is Regatta, less than a km away, but at the time of writing it is still under repair following last year's floods. Room We found the room to be clean, comfortable and spacious, with a large king bed, two bedside tables, each with a drawer and a lamp, a TV on the wall, and a handy desk for working at. On the balcony, was a small table and two chairs. There were plenty of power points to charge appliances and the downlights were strong enough for easy reading. The stylish touch lamp on the desk and standing lamp in the corner were useful for extra illumination. There was a hanging rail with about eight hangers. There were two sets of two drawers, one underneath the hanging rail and the safe, with one larger set underneath the TV. They were reasonably sized, but being virtually on the floor, they were super inconvenient to access. I can’t understand why the designers didn’t think of this, because it’s extra difficult to get down so low, especially if you’re a bit older, or with knee problems. Also in the room was a safe but that too required bending down. On top of the safe and below the hanging rail was a shelf to store one suitcase. The tea and coffee making facilities were also very difficult to access as they were rammed into a little shelf snuck between the drawers and the desk-top. The room though was quiet, being at the back of the property and therefore not facing directly onto either Jephson Street or Sherwood Rd, both busy roads. One could hear some noise from within the hotel as people walked up and down the corridor, but it was a minor inconvenience and most fellow guests seemed friendly and well behaved. There wasn’t much of a view, and the room just looked out onto the sprawling next door apartment complex, and to the right between the trees we could see Jephson Street, and the traffic going up and down, but the sound didn’t carry into the bedroom if the balcony door was kept closed. Bathroom The bathroom was not an en-suite, being situated in the passageway, between the front door and the bed. That was just as well, as it had a sliding door, which is never great for privacy, although it could be locked. But the bathroom was modern and stylish, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. A transparent glass wall separated the bathroom from the bedroom, which shocked me when I first saw it. I immediately phoned the reception to tell them that we needed another room due to the lack of bathroom privacy. I cannot fault this accomodation! From the friendly welcome and service to the above and beyond service I received after leaving an expensive phone charger/cord behind. The manager ‘Jack’ went out of his way to ‘find’ and ‘organise’ a pick-up for me that I am so grateful for. To find that the wonderful cleaners had taken it to the office was so honest that I would like to say ‘thank you’. The very clean and large Family Studio we had was perfect. Plenty of free parking and a no-fuss check- out. We didn’t have any trouble with noise from either the road or other apartments. Free wi-fi. We weren’t far from the City centre or Southbank. Easy to Uber. Will definitely be coming back. A+

Very helpful, clean and friendly. The only concern I had was the fire escape plan. We were on the ground floor and the outdoor area was surrounded by aluminium lattice work which was welded shut. The only way out was back through the one way hallway to the exit doors. If there was a fire you would have to climb 2m over the lattice to get out. When I asked about it they said it's a brick building so you don't have to really worry about fire....😬

We were not aware of the late check in procedures but thankfully the staff (Dana) reached out and sorted it out for us, otherwise we might have been locked out! The hotel,building and room looks clean and new. Although it's located right above Taringa train station, we did not hear any sounds from the trains at all during our stay. Covered parking is available for a fee or there is usually street parking. If you are checking in, there is a loading zone next to the hotel. As the hotel is on a steep slope, might be worthwhile parking as near you can to unload. Although there is no housekeeping services for short stays, the front desk are helpful with any requests always. Overall, a great affordable find for a new-ish hotel and minutes away from the CBD, UQ and westfield indooroopilly.

Abbiamo prenotato questo alloggio, guardando il fiume molto vicino all'ospedale Wesley. Ho parlato con Kerrin direttamente al momento della prenotazione e poi l'ho incontrato al check-in. Era molto professionale e utile. Ho chiesto un check-out tardivo, con cui ha assistito, ma dipende dal giorno, più il parcheggio successivo, che è stato molto utile. Il bagno, la camera da letto e la sala salone erano puliti e tutto era in buone condizioni di lavoro. Ho letto una o due scarse recensioni, che erano invero inesperte nella nostra esperienza, a causa del buon valore per i soldi, ci sorprendevano piacevolmente. Per coloro che hanno fatto scarse recensioni su questi appartamenti, dovrebbero considerare di pagare il prezzo per un tasso di alloggio 5 stelle altrove, perché si paga per quello che si ottiene e questi appartamenti erano sicuramente buoni e puliti. Torneremo se avremo bisogno di visitare nuovamente la zona.

Questa è la prima volta che sono andato in una camera/svita e persone FaceTime prima di sballare. Il nostro soggiorno è andato meglio e meglio, dalla comodità della posizione dell'hotel, il benvenuto all'arrivo, all'esperienza di camminare nella nostra suite e vedere le splendide viste e la struttura impressionante. La nostra risposta immediata era di andare a farci sparare per non aver prenotato notti extra, ma abbiamo già pianificato il nostro prossimo soggiorno. Perfetto per visitare il Suncorp Stadium e Caxton Street, ma i mercati Milton sono un dovere guardare insieme ai negozi di caffè e cibo artigianali circostanti. La comodità della stazione Milton porta la posizione ad un altro livello. Molto consigliato!

Ottimo luogo. Unità un po 'antica e stanca, ma pulita. Non ci sono occhiali nell'unità. Non uno!! Molti buoni ristoranti vicino. Letti confortevoli.

The after hours check-in is terrible. I had to phone to get a code to get into the reception area. Then my reservation coded didn't work and had to call again. Then I realise that I need a physical ID to scan to complete the check in, which I didn't have. Luckily the person I was on the phone with could help move the check in forward, which was another 3-4 steps. When I got to my room there were marks on the walls, the couch is heavily stained, as were some places on the carpet. The cleaning job was average. The only good things about this place are the location and the bed was comfortable.
