I was booked in for 8 nights but left 4 days early as I couldn't handle the smell any longer and the mould in the heater/air con was too much. The bedding was stained, the towels smelt like they were folded up and not washed. The dust in the room and the curtains were hanging off and it was like daylight all night. And that's just a little bit of what I found. I was told that management might give me a refund for early check out but doubt that. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Amazing staff. Clean and well maintained.

I have travelled extensively around Australia and this motel has to be one of the best I have stayed in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals in the restaurant are excellent. The rooms are very comfortable. The motel is within easy walking distance to the original shopping centre which has many restaurants and take-away food outlets. It also is only about 800m from the RSL. If you are visiting Morwell for work or just an overnight stay, I recommend you stay at the Cedar Lodge.

Friendly staff and centrally located. Free breakfast for that price definitely the deal breaker. No hesitation to recommend it to anybody stopping over at Morwell or even nearby towns.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel molte volte prima e, mentre le camere non erano fantastiche, hanno ancora soddisfatto le nostre esigenze. Tuttavia, l'ultima volta che abbiamo visitato, la storia è cambiata per il peggio. Ci fu detto che le camere erano state rinnovate e abbiamo visto le pareti dipinte nel bagno, ma il pittore deve essere stato in fretta, come il pittore è stato gonfiato sul tavolo e sul pavimento nel bagno. All’angolo dove avevano tè e caffè, non c’era luce, il punto di potenza era sull’altra parte della stanza, che era molto pericoloso, e c’erano solo poche sacche per tè e poche tasche per tè, molto meno di quanto non fosse stato l’ultima volta.

We stayed at this property in late December 2022 after our annual holiday booking was cancelled due to the Murray River floods. Traralgon was not a usual or expected destination for our group, however, we stayed in the town to access Lake Narracan (which wasn't impacted by floods) for waterskiing. Our group of two families had adjoining Family Suites opening out onto a large grassy area, which was perfect so our group could interact and kids could safely play. The rooms were very high quality with wonderful bedding, two smart-enabled TVs in each suite, two large, modern and clean bathrooms in each suite and a fabulous kitchenette in each room with a small cooktop, microwave, toaster, bar fridge and crockery and basic cookware. The free laundry was a real plus and we washed and dried towels each day after returning from the lake. The service was exceptional. Other members of our family stayed at the BIG4 (which is almost next door) and we stayed at the Century Inn as the BIG4 was fully booked. We feel we got a much better deal! We plan to stay here again to access Lake Narracan. The only things that I would suggest to the Century Inn owner/operator is a quick fix would be outdoor settings for the rooms would be brilliant, and to check the outside lights work outside the rooms (as ours didn't). A larger investment, but if the Century Inn had a swimming pool or some other recreation facilities it would leave the other accommodation options for dead and open it up to more tourist bookings - but I understand that the key market for the hotel is corporate/medical accessing the hospital next door.
