This is a modest semi-rural hotel, with well-designed and very well maintained and stylish rooms. (The next night we stayed in a Crowne Plaza hotel in another town and, frankly, it was not as good). The prices are very reasonable. We stayed in a terrace room, which is south-facing, with a pocket-handkerchief sized open outdoor-setting (not private, and with an outlook onto the carpark). The Queen standard rooms are north-facing, I believe. Our room (and probably all the rooms) was quiet and very clean. There is a faint floral smell of air-freshener. I liked that there was no expensively stocked bar fridge or snacking tray in the room: bottled water is complimentary (unlike Crowne Plaza). This Abode is pet-friendly, which I usually avoid as I'm allergic to animals but, that said, there was no doggy smell. There was no hairdryer that I could discover (apply to reception?), but there were ironing facilities in the room. I wouldn't bother with a breakfast package as all you have to do is walk across the way to Two Before Ten cafe, where your voucher would take you anyway. For now, the only place you can get dinner is at the pub, the Country Inn. (This might change as Murrumbateman is mushrooming). The Farmers Market is every second Saturday morning. Be aware that payment will come out automatically on the day you leave: that is to say that there is no opportunity to use another mode of payment (unless you consult with the receptionist when checking in?).

I rang up and got a cheaper price than on the website, which is great. I had my small family stay one night and it was lovely. The beds were comfy and the room was very clean. The bathroom seemed to be recently renovated so it was nice and modern and clean. Easy check in and out and friendly reception 😊

Arrived without a booking and received friendly service. The room we were assigned was well appointed, spacious and very clean. It was well priced and checkout was an easy process. I have no hesitation in recommending Thunderbird as a place to stay.

La casa di cinque coppie aveva 3 notti a metà settimana a The Globe Inn e era perfetta per il nostro gruppo. La posizione era conveniente e resa facile per un passo intorno alla città per guardare i vecchi edifici. Ognuna delle camere era confortevole, ben progettata e aveva un bagno in suite. La colazione era compresa e molto buona.C’era una zona salotto alla fine della camera principale, confortevole e con un posto fiammeggiante che sarebbe bello in inverno. Il grande bonus per il nostro gruppo era il enorme balcone sotto copertura in alto - un sacco di sedie casuali e una tavola con sedie se volessi mangiare a pranzo che avresti portato Julia era un ottimo ospite - luminoso, bubble e niente era troppo difficile . Il marito Charlie era anche molto amichevole, anche se era un uomo occupato e non lo vedevamo molto. Ci sono stati molti aiuti-tu-tea e caffè n la stanza principale e Julia aveva sempre qualche biscotti/piccoli biscotti fatti a casa. Anche un sacco di forniture di acqua in bottiglia.Posso consigliare molto The Globe Inn, soprattutto per una fuga di gruppo.

Siamo arrivati a Yass con fortuna dopo un giorno intero sulla strada, abbiamo scelto di pagare un po'di più per la camera della Regina e siamo felici di averlo fatto. Il letto della Regina è confortevole, ci sono due divano letto , caldaia , microonde , vetri freddi in frigorifero , piastrelle, cutter ( Incase) e il meglio è quanto è pulito . Per coloro che non possono negoziare le scale è perfetto . La proprietaria - Sonia , è così bello , amichevole e utile . Era così informativa e benvenuta sul telefono e quando abbiamo controllato . È il tuo motel standard - non aspettate più, ma non abbiamo più lamentele. E 'comfortabile e molto pulito. Non siamo sorpresi di tornare le persone. Se facciamo questo viaggio stradale di nuovo, anche noi saremo di nuovo. A

On arrival the receptionist was not very friendly. Basic motel with two bedrooms, enough for 5, and there were only 2 of us. One single bed could be moved to give space. Shower was difficult to access as was in the deep bath, with full surround & door. However was a quiet arrear, with nice walk into the town. Bed was very comfy The addition of a Microwave, cutlery & crockery was good. Parking good

We had an unexpected stop in Yass, and the staff here could not have been better. They accomodated our family in a 3 bedroom unit, which was tidy, comfortable and had everything we needed at such short notice. We even got a visit from a very friendly local cat. The staff were all very helpful in helping us with our car situation, and it was very appreciated. It was a good experience in uncertain circumstances. Would definitely recommend if you need somewhere to stay in Yass. Walking distance to shops and main street.
