I'm sure many potential holiday makers have driven past Norwood House Receptions and either not noticed it, or considered it a reception venue only. That is their loss. Behind the reception area is a motel block respendant with collonade along the front making an impressive first impression. Don't get me wrong, some maintenance work needs to be done but the bones of the facility are all good, and the new owners know what needs to be done. Inside however the room was excellent, with a king bed and a king single, the most comfortable since my favoured Sheraton Hotel beds. The room was spotless and the price affordable. Special mention must go to the manager, Laurie, who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. Important after day surgery at a nearby private hospital. Opt for one of his home cooked breakfasts for a special treat. We randomly chose to stay here due to its convenient location, close to all that Mornington offers. Our random choice turned out to be first prize in the lucky dip. We look forward to returning in coming months and to see the new owners plans develop into fruition.

Ho condiviso una stanza qui con mio fratello quando abbiamo partecipato a un matrimonio sulla penisola. Il motel era abbastanza facile da trovare. L'ho guardato sulla mappa prima di andare lì. Ho guardato a sinistra, andando verso est, poco dopo Maccas, e il grande segno era facile da vedere dalla strada. Check-in era facile. La stanza era spaziosa e, se non fresca, era in un buon nick. C'era una grande tavola con sedie, una grande TV montata sopra sul muro, una microonde sul banco vicino al bacino e, nel tavolo sotto c'era un tostapane, un caldaia, alcuni tazze e utensili, ecc. Nel frigorifero c’erano quattro pezzi di pelliccia e bicchieri di martini, due letti doppi, il letto che dormivo era comodo, e uno specchio lungo a pieno carico sulla porta del piccolo guardaroba, e il bagno era anche spazioso. La piscina sembrava un muro mantenuto, ma non l'ho usato. Neanche mio fratello.

Le camere sono $200+ per notte per una stanza di motel molto di base sotto un pub .... In Frankston ... È possibile ottenere camere decente nel CBD di Melbourne per questo prezzo. Le camere sono state ristrutturate negli ultimi anni, che è bello, ma il bagno non è pulito e sta diventando sgualdrina. La vista dalla finestra è sopra il parcheggio e un fiume mudo - nessuna privacy se si vuole lasciare le cieche aperte per lasciare la luce naturale. Il rumore che entra nelle stanze è terribile - può sentire tutto che sta succedendo nel corridoio e tutto quello che sta succedendo nel parco automobilistico. Più grave è il rumore costante che si sta scagliando dalle sedie sul tetto del pub sopra (anche se sembra che questo si fermi per la maggior parte fino alle 10:00), mancando alcuni dei piccoli dettagli, come un asciugamano e una bevanda per una camera da letto/due persone. Le letti sono fermi ma confortevoli. Inoltre, la posizione è fantastica se dovete essere a Frankston - a piedi a spiaggia, carico di pub, opzioni alimentari e negozi lungo la strada. Il parcheggio gratuito è abbondante (ma non sicuro), il minibar gratuito è un bel touch e il servizio in camera da pub al piano di sopra è utile. Probabilmente non penserebbe di restare qui di nuovo a meno che i prezzi non siano ridotti. Ok per una visita di una notte, se puoi affrontare il rumore.

La posizione era perfetta, nel cuore di Frankston. La stanza era una buona dimensione e pulita all'arrivo. Ho avuto un soggiorno molto confortevole. Il personale di servizio era carino, ha organizzato il parcheggio e ha offerto buone direzioni ai luoghi che ho chiesto a Frankston.

We loved every minute of our last minute sta. Only one night which I booked a few hours before arriving. We really enjoyed the facilities on offer. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They upgraded our room and also gave us a late check out. The pool was wonderful - absolutely the perfect temperature for winter. The room service dinner was a real treat too. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We will be back for sure.

Very disappointed in the overall condition of the apartment. We tend to stay in apartments so we can cook our meals. The dishes were not washed - 2 of the four burners were not working. So many issues not worth raising and simply why I didn’t raise them was that these issues are clearly easy issues to notice/fix if they had a good maintenance person. But it’s neglected and with so many issues I could only imagine the person they would have sent to us. So we just sucked it up. The paper thin walls in the bedroom to the next apartment was unbelievable though. Almost like an after thought wall/door. No insulation at all. No fan in a bathroom dryer falling off wall!! Etc etc etc

Large room- but missing somewhere to sit and eat. For such a large room strange that there is no table and chairs as there is more than enough room. Breakfast is included- in a COVID safe way. Cereal is in small single use pack-the only issue is bread just in a bag. In the current climate I’m not sure if people are happy to rely on some else hygiene standards. Maybe a single muffin sealed in a single use. The locations is on a main road, which I was aware of-but may put some off. Windows are of good quality and stop the noise. The motel is above a bistro and hotel so no need to walk far for dinner. The bistro has a wide range and offer a senior special $20 for 3 courses. The meals are huge and of good quality.

Very comfortable stay. Convenient location with the hotel and Dan Murphy’s right next door. Had lunch at the pub and the meal was fantastic value for money. There is also a fish n chip shop and a few other shops very close by. Would definitely recommend.
