Abbiamo visitato qui per il nostro unico breve periodo di pausa dal lavoro, 5 giorni, con i bambini in vacanza scolastica appena prima che la scuola iniziasse e scopriamo che la piscina si chiude a 7.00 pm. Abbiamo pagato tasse di premio per prenotare questo posto in vacanza scolastica, quasi raddoppiato l'importo annunciato ora. La nostra principale carta di prenotazione era avere accesso alla piscina. Non abbiamo una piscina a casa e siamo venuti dalle condizioni di onde calde a Melbourne e ci attendeva davvero questo viaggio. Siamo stati tutti esauriti dal lavoro e dalla scuola, e questo è stato il nostro unico tempo di andare insieme come famiglia e volevamo solo rilassarci dalla piscina. Abbiamo posto un grande accento sull'esistenza di una piscina e 7.00pm era troppo presto per chiudere una piscina. La maggior parte della pubblicità di questo posto si trova intorno alla piscina e questa è la base per la prenotazione di questo posto. Se avessimo saputo che la piscina si chiudeva a 7.00pm non avrei passato un penny qui e preferirei andare altrove. Molto deluso !!!

According to the reception person we dealt with, the owner was away and he was filling in, so we have to cut him some slack as dealing with customers was not his strong point. We booked a ground floor room as we always do as we cannot use stairs. Our booking was confirmed through *********** and we also received written confirmation for the room (N0. 4) from the owner via email. However on arrival the receptionist tried to give us an upstairs room which we refused. He claimed no such arrangements for a downstairs room had been made despite us having written proof. He claimed our room (No. 4) had not been cleaned as he was not expecting guests. After much ado we were given a ground floor room which was apparently an upgrade on what we had booked. The room was quite large and well equipped with a large couch and dining setting. It also had a good split system air conditioner. The motel is very well situated in the middle of town within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and the pub. The motel is badly let down with bad parking arrangements. You are supposed to park on an empty lot at the rear of the motel which has no lighting and consists of a grassed area with a muddy gravel track. If you park here you have to drag your luggage some distance uphill via the muddy track to your room. You are forced to park illegally on the street .

Il cottage era spazioso - due camere da letto, una cucina/familia, nonché un bagno con un bagno separato. All'esterno di ogni unità c'erano tavoli, sedie e BBQ. Le ricevimenti TV erano terribili, ma il WIFI era perfetto. L'ospite, Alex era il più utile possibile, e offreva accesso 24/7. Donna era amichevole e utile. Abbiamo viaggiato con due veicoli classici e abbiamo avvertito che l'accesso non era il migliore. Che sottovalutazione - una volta che abbiamo lasciato il bitume e entrato nella proprietà la strada era assolutamente terribile - la strada era incompleta, russa e aveva grandi buchi lungo il cammino verso il nostro alloggio. La mia auto è bassa al pavimento e, sebbene io sia un pilota molto esperto, non potevo evitare i buchi monstruosi e fare un giusto danno al mio veicolo. A causa della strada non ho potuto raccomandare Kalimna Woods Cottages, che è triste perché i cottage sono bellissimi - puliti e confortevoli.

We went there as part of Wyndham Time Share. An excellent experience, we would happily return. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well-serviced. Staff were friendly and efficient. Limited parking under cover may be an issue but there is ample parking. Restaurant and bistro were limited in scope but value for money. This is a great place to chill out, away from the crowds.

Lovely service, very clean, very comfortable, minimal noise, nice sized rooms, very good overall. Nice seating on balcony. Toaster, microwave, kettle & crockery provided. Small pool area also. Great location. On site parking (though does get full) Very happy to stay.
