Not good and not recommended. The whole property is very rundown and in urgent need of refurbishment. Complete painting, upgrading bathrooms, toilet and general presentation. Finishes are old shabby and grubby. The sunken shower in a spa is difficult to access for some and is slippery. To reach the toiletries you are required to walk across a slippery and sloped base to use. This shower aspect should be highlighted to every guest when the booking is being made. Almost impossible to enter and exit the shower safely. In fact it is very dangerous despite a handle to hold on the wall. These showers should be removed without any delay and replaced with walk in showers. Completely unacceptable. Window in bedroom faces walkway from lift and from stairs. It is noisy, hearing people walking, talking and slamming doors. The window allows light into the bedroom all night and if the blind is up, it is easy to see into the room from outside. Requires replacement window covering such as a shutter to prevent light and allow some privacy. Lift was filthy and floor covering requires replacement. For the cost of well over $400 per night in the off season, the room did not provide the room facilities that is expected for such a high tariff. Certainly not even 4 star. 3 star in our opinion. The balcony is dirty and uninviting. Not the place to sit and admire the view of the beach. Furniture requires replacement with such more in line with price expectation of the owners. It is time management sat up and took notice.

We went in on off-chance and had a choice of rooms. We chose to go for the sea view ‘Executive’ room on 1st floor to front of building with a balcony. Great bed, lovely warm room (one I worked out that AC was also a heater), tea/coffee making facility inc. milk in the fridge, heating lights in the bathroom. There was even a walk-in wardrobe area! Didn’t take a photo inside the room but did take a couple of the view. A little gem of a place in Lorne. So glad we found it.

We were a little concerned after reading other reviews which suggested that site was cramped but were very happy with our stay at the park. Clearly others have said they had problems but our pitch was easily big enough for out campervan (7m x 2m), we could have parked a car next to it. The facilities were clean and the best thing was the closeness to the town of Lorne which has a lovely beach and a good range of bars and restaurants. I have deducted 1 point only because our pitch no longer had any grass (presumably because it is so late in the season) and the site we were on was behind a supermarket (fantastic for shopping but not great for the view).

Terry and the team at the Anchorage are welcoming. The Motel is spotless clean and the rooms are brilliant too. Location is perfect for the foreshore and close to all the local shops, etc. We had a studio, bright and decorated clean, with a microwave and tea making / fridge. On site pool if you want one. Free parking. Support a local business. A fantastic one-night stay. Thank you (Liam & Jon), woof, to Ziggy!

La visione delle tende eco è stata una splendida esperienza, le tende sono su una piattaforma, quindi si trova sopra la prateria dove i cangurosi e i cockatoi vengono e si sbarcano sul veranda. La piccola stanza è così accogliente con un comodo letto matrimoniale con letti elettrici e ci sono anche letti a bundle. Ci è una piccola sala/cucina con divano, come pure microonde, caldaia, tostapane e frigorifero, ma c'è un Weber bbq fuori. Nel coperchio c'è tutto necessario, tra cui una selezione di tè più caffè e shock caldo, olio di pulitura, nonché crockery e cuttery più latte nel frigorifero. Inoltre c'è una TV, un ventilatore e un riscaldatore che ha rapidamente riscaldato la stanza. È solo un giro di cinque minuti dalla città, ma si sente come se tu fossi in mezzo a nulla e le proprietà sono ben diffuse e private e con un balcone con sedie e tavolo si sente a uno con la natura. Ci sono pochi piatti di fuoco fuori tutto pronto per un divertimento per guardare la fauna e ridurre il freddo.Un posto davvero super per passare qualche giorno a correre da una bella coppia.

The draw card here is the location. On the beach, beautiful. We made a booking for an ocean view room, when we arrived our room had been given to someone else at the error of junior staff. We ended up with a partial ocean view room. The staff handled the situation best they could and provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine which was appreciated. Despite the excellent location, the room was very worn out but clean. The bathtub enamel was coming off in patches which was a little gross to put your feet on. You can see by the beautiful landscape and design of the original hotel that, in its heyday, it would have been the height of luxury. Overall, we were disappointed by the rooms but thrilled with the location. There is a lot of potential here but the pricing doesn't reflect the standard of the rooms at this stage.

Tutto ciò che avresti voluto in un appartamento, anche sotto una spiaggia ombrello e asciugamani. Ci siamo fermati in California che aveva un grande ponte che guardava la spiaggia di Lorne. Non potevamo credere quanto questo posto fosse ben attrezzato. Camera confortevole.

Solo trascorrete 3 notti a Sunnymead - un bel hotel a Inlet di Airey. Le camere sono pulite, elegante, moderne e hanno tutto quello che ti serve per un bel soggiorno. Il letto era super comodo e tutto nella camera ha funzionato bene. I piccoli tocchi sono bellissimi, come bagni, bagni da bagno, asciugamani da spiaggia, ma anche caffè, e comprendono le tazze e il latte. Il ristorante è aperto solo per alcune notti, ma disponibile per il servizio in camera ogni notte e il cibo è stato grande. La piscina è grande e può immaginare l'estate quando il bar / pizza sono sul viaggio sarebbe molto divertente. L'hotel è vicino a tutto ciò che la città offre - passeggiata a spiaggia, negozi ecc. Non ho provato il bagno ma sarò la prossima volta. Sicuramente consiglio e sarò di ritorno.
