No microwave or toaster so if you need to heat anything at night you have to leave your room. Staff were lovely but bed wasn't great. Switched to singe bed and that was fine. Overall it was fine and I'd probably go again if I had to, but I'd ask for a room downstairs at the back to get away from what appeared to be permanent residents smoking outside my room, although they were friendly and polite people, I'm a non smoker so it was gross.

Booked an apartment to give us flexibility during our stay in Adelaide. Meant we could catch up on our laundry and not worry about our rooms being serviced every day. The apartment had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, of which one was en-suite. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels provided. Hot water whenever we needed it. Had we wanted to cook there was a selection of pans for use on the hob and oven. We mostly used the kettle and toaster. The place was airy, clean and the furnishings met our needs. From the apartment we had a good view over north Adelaide, though there was an electricity pole only a few feet from the balcony which I found slightly off putting. Make sure to book parking as spaces are limited. On the days we didn’t have allocated parking we were able to park close by on the street without incident. The team managing the building were always very pleasant and helpful and, given our late arrival time, left clear instructions on how to access the apartment. Good access to central Adelaide. Would happily stay there again.

We stayed in the luxurious 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment for 5 nights. It is new, gorgeous and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Just a couple of minor challenges. Check in has to be done at Meridien Hotel - fortunately quite an easy process. Perhaps the most challenging part was opening the garage door with Mobile Key - one has to disembark from the car to use the smartphone app. Luckily the lane is usually quiet, otherwise it can be stressful. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. A home away from home like experience.

Lovely boutique hotel in a central CBD location. We walked to Adelaide oval for Gather Round, to restaurants for dinners, close to airport. Awesome customer service from Toni at the front desk. The food smelt delicious from the restaurant next door to reception - will have to try next trip

Well reviewed hotel, which we found disappointing. Firstly, on arrival (we arrived around 11am), at check-in we were told that our room wasn't ready so the receptionist after reminding us that check-in was at 3pm, stored away our luggage and promised to text us when the room was ready, we went for a walk, after having lunch, about 2.5 hours later, we went back and the room still wasn't ready, after an hours waiting in the reception area and watching guests checking in without any problem my wife (again) asked when our room was ready, her reply was that the room had been ready for some time and she thought that we were relaxing, so she didn't want to disturb us ( no text either) - really! Our stay was bed with breakfast, breakfast menu we thought was prescriptive, we had a choice of tea/coffee or orange juice couldn't have both as it was extra, throughout the breakfasts, chef found it impossible to fry an egg without charring it. The pool which is shown in the picture is small, get your fitness bunny in and that's it, then again we found it filthy, looking on the side wall there was a 2” (50mm) black, thick tide mark all around the inside of the pool and 'bits' on the floor so it seems cleanliness isn't top of the list, which comes to our room, nice sized and comfortable, but why the cleaner couldn't clean our room when he was either next door or the room facing was puzzling even though we put our tag on our door. A thing we found with regard to the reviews of this hotel I found that quite a few of these were people from Adelaide who not only gave this hotel 5 stars, but only ever did one review - hmm? The hotel is situated about a 10/15 minute walk from the centre of town and appeared to be a popular place to stay amongst the business fraternity

Love the hotel very much. Very good for business. Just music in the lobby is too noisy and it is not easy to find a quiet table for conference

Excellent Staff and location, very clean and spacious room. The only thing I would suggest is an improved room food storage refrigeration unit and the addition of a microwave. However this would not be an issue if you intend to dine out. Other than that I highly recommend the Majestic Roof Garden Hotel for your stay in Adelaide.

Great location in the city , very convenient when doing any day trip or city getaway. Must say though carparks are small .............. ............................................... .........................................
