Great location within walking distance to shops and cafes. Clean, friendly budget accommodation. Nice lounge area for eating prepared meals. Suitable base for skiing Perisher, Smiggins or Thredbo. Diversity of rooms means the lodge is suitable for solo and family groups. Some rooms have shared bathrooms. Everything is very clean.

Location: It's about as good as you get in Jindabyne. You're right across the street from the Nuggets Crossing Shopping Centre (with Woolworths and a variety of restaurants). The lake is pretty much right across the highway. Room: We had a split-level loft with a queen bed on the ground floor and a full bed and bunk bed on the loft level. More than enough for my family of 4. Our room was on the ground floor which was extremely helpful (I probably would not have been as happy if we were on the upper floor). Room had a full-kitchen with microwave, electric griddle, mini-fridge, slow cooker, hot pot, and dishware/cutlery. There was also complimentary coffee, milk, hot chocolate and biscuits. Be mindful that the room is also stocked with snacks and a mini-bar in the fridge. These are not free. The room was a bit dated, but that wasn't an issue at all. It was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed - that's all that mattered. Amenities: there is an on-site restaurant/bar, but we didn't get to try it. There is a nice lobby area with a fireplace. Be sure to ask the reception for a 20% discount card to The Base Ski Rental about a half kilometer down the road if you plan on hiring any gear. Parking is free and plentiful. Overall, it was a great stay. It was a bit pricey, but considering we booked last minute during winter season, it was a great value relative to the other options in Jindabyne. And the room definitely had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Also, the woman at the reception was extremely nice and helpful.

We have been coming to Jindabyne for the past 7 years same time every year. I absolutely love the place and its handy location to the mountains and shops. The only negative i would give this park is every year we are on a lake view site near the boat ramp. These sites are premium sites, why do they put caravans on the unpowered sites blocking the view of people who pay premium dollar for these sites. The unpowered sites oposite the powered sites should be be for tents or small campers. Kirily and Freddy were great managers and the new managers will have big shoes to fill and i do wish them well. Feb 2024 was our last year at this time. Amenties are spotless and the park is kept extremely neat and tidy.

We’ve been coming to the region for years, and the LJ used to be our go-to place for accommodation, meals or drinks - both winter and summer. But no more. I posti nelle cabine e fuori sul ponte sono necessari per essere sostituiti, o almeno un buon pulito; come sono tavoli/setti nel bistro. E non è buono avere una zona di fumo designata quando i patroni fumano ovunque vogliano – il personale deve attivamente applicare le regole che il licenziatario deve rispettare. Il ponte non è una zona di fumo designata! Siamo tornati a Jindabyne e al LJ per 5 notti nel dicembre 2023. Anche se i menu forniti al bar e al bistro sono aperti fino alle 9:00, quando abbiamo cercato di ordinare a 8.05pm, ci sono stati detto che la cucina era chiusa alle 8:00. E no, non abbiamo visto nessun altro segnale dettagliato questo. Il nostro partito di cinque non è stato l'unico deluso da questa incoerenza. So che attualmente ci sono molte riparazioni al LJ, ma non saremo di nuovo nel frattempo.

Il motel è situato proprio fuori città, ma abbastanza vicino per camminare in città. La stanza era ben attrezzata e confortevole. La stanza è ampiamente parcheggio disponibile e alcune camere hanno vista sul lago. Non abbiamo visto nessun personale perché hanno un check-in senza contatto.

A cozy, comfortable and well situated hotel. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, the location is perfect being on the lake front with places to eat and shops walking distance. Definitely recommend a stay here and I look forward to coming back.

We stayed for 8 nights, and less than impressed is the nicest way to put it. The only positive things I can say is the beds were comfortable and the outlook onto the lake was nice. Certainly not worth $350 per night!! The breakfast would be good if it was actually hot, even getting there upon opening at 6:30am the bacon was cold, eggs were generally only half cooked and sausages often reheated from the previous day. New manager made guests feel like an inconvenience for just being there, he is not a people person at all, the upside of this was the entertainment of what he might do next in the breakfast room, from running into guests without apology, throwing his hands in the air and swearing because he had to clear the tables after guests had finished their breakfasts, standing around with his hands down his pants, then briefly disappearing to the kitchen and returning with clean plates and we just hoped he’d washed his hands but not sure he’d actually been gone long enough to have had time. We were not provided with fresh linen and even when we asked for clean towels, we were not given a full set only bath towels. They did come into the room each day weather we liked it or not as there was no sign we could hang on the door, (although towards the end of our trip I did notice that some rooms had these so it must be pot luck) from what I could tell they changed the bins most days and sometimes restocked the room with toilet paper, tea bags etc but we frequently had to go and ask for these things much to the dismay of staff. In summary, the place has potential, but overall it was very disappointing and overpriced.
