My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Shizuka Ryokan. The experience was exactly what we had expected, from check in to check out. Some of my friends and relatives thought we were actually in Japan! The room was spacious and beautifully presented. The tatami was just the right thickness, while the bath was simply relaxing. The breakfasts were so filling we skipped lunch on 2 of the days we were there, and the dinner was absolutely delicious. All the staff were very attentive. I could see that they enjoy what they do and love interacting with guests. I look forward to staying at Shizuka Ryokan again in the future.

Un hotel termale in stile leggermente classico, ma sfortunatamente c'è un costo aggiuntivo per fare il bagno nella piscina minerale pubblica annessa all'hotel. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, ma l'arredamento è troppo classico e un po' datato. La colazione è abbastanza buona e l'ambiente è di prim'ordine. L'hotel dispone di un bellissimo giardinetto con il profumo di uccelli e fiori. Dopo un pasto, gli ospiti possono passeggiare in giardino e pensare alla vita.

We were a group of 16 ladies from Perth.I cannot thank Gill enough for providing us with an awesome stay .The rooms are spacious,spotlessly clean very comfortable beds ,microwave cutlery,crockery, tea and coffee,warm heaters and electric blankets and plenty of towels.are provided. We were able to use the conference room each day for exercises and meditation and massages all with the help of Gill setting it up for us. The price of our stay was excellent value .I have stayed here before and will return. The bathhouse is a very short stroll through the bush.Restaurants and the General store in Hepburn all within walking distance from the the motor inn .

Anche il giorno prima, sono andato in sala da ristorante per vedere il menu. Egli è venuto da nessuna parte, ha messo la porta in un modo brutto e ha detto che il ristorante era fuori dai confini. La mia risposta: chiudete la porta o mettetevi un segno... Il colazione era peggio: mi ha detto che non mi permetterebbe di sedermi in nessuna tavola perchè mi spostavo due volte. Ho avuto una famiglia molto alta dietro di me: anche in modo abominabile, aggressivo. Il pranzo è in modo eccessivo per i piccoli servizi. Il colazione era terribile. Il cibo era servito freddo e si è abbattuto davanti a me. Sinceramente non potevo credere alle maniere. Sono un senior, quindi mi sono sollevato dove il personale rispettava il cliente pagatore. Viaggio anche a lungo, quindi non sono abituato a questo tipo di rudezza. La mancanza di servizio e di modi è del tutto inaccettabile nell'industria dell'ospitalità. La stanza era davvero fredda e il riscaldamento della parete ha fatto scoppiare aria calda, è stato così. Ho comprato un cappello extra per tenerlo caldo. Il personale non era né utile né amichevole in alcun modo. Sì, la situazione attuale è difficile, lo so e lo capisco. Tuttavia, ciò non dà scusa a un uomo di età superiore che chiede una tavola tranquilla per i modi di cui ha bisogno. Forse è più adatto alle famiglie con bambini, non alle persone tranquille che desiderano una pausa in bellissimo Hepburn Springs. L'atmosfera era in generale fredda e sterile:

I loved this place I will definitely be back it was gorgeous such a beautiful room with an amazing fireplace next to the bed and a massive spa. I went here with my daughter and we both loved everything and the balcony has an amazing view and the location was perfect as you could walk straight over to the trail walks that I love doing then your able to drive 5 minutes to Daylesford to eat out for dinner then back to the room for an amazing spa to relax by the warm fireplace

This was the best decision on our 10-days trip and the best accommodation out of 4! This intimate hotel oozes charm from the moment you step inside. The décor is beautifully curated, with thoughtful touches that create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It's clear the owners take immense pride in their establishment, and their passion shines through in every detail. One of the highlights of my stay was the sleep quality. We badly needed a good night's rest after days of driving and some dismal bedding in the earlier accommodations! Their incredibly comfortable bedding and peaceful surroundings ensured a restful night's sleep. Waking up refreshed, we were greeted by a breakfast that surpassed most local restaurant standards. It was evident that the food was homemade, bursting with flavor and prepared with love. The personalized service truly elevated our overall stay experience. The owners went above and beyond to cater to our needs, offering recommendations and arranging thoughtful amenities. Their genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests. An added bonus was the stunning mineral spring reserve located just opposite the hotel. We enjoyed a rejuvenating hike through the reserve, taking in the natural beauty and just soaking in the cool weather! Overall, The Dudley Boutique provided an exceptional escape. It's the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and personalized service. We can't wait to return and experience their magic again!

Pleasant stay overall very happy with the accommodation and if I was to return I would stay here again. The room is extremely clean, very well designed with everything you need. Easy and smooth check in/check out. They also give you a heap of complimentary snacks and amenities. Thank you very much
