Che posto perfetto per un vero rilassamento. Andato in viaggio di famiglia e aveva due cabine accanto l'uno all'altro. Era un grande schema. Non sapevo cosa aspettare e superava tutte le aspettative. Le foto online non lo fanno giustizia. Il tempo di lavoro è stato molto breve, ma non è stato abbastanza breve, ma non è stato facile vivere. Guardare gli uccelli hanno il loro gioco mattina è stato meraviglioso. Molte specie diverse, è stato meraviglioso. Non può essere consigliato abbastanza per coloro che godono di un ambiente più tranquillo lontano dalle folle e rabbia e ruggine. È abbastanza per mantenere i bambini divertiti. La piscina e la spa erano grandi e buoni perché non era mai confezionato con persone. Cabina con accesso disabile era perfetta, bagno era come nuovo e aveva tutto ciò che era necessario per la persona con problemi di mobilità.

What a little gem we found on Raymond Island. This accommodation & function centre is run by the Anglican Church and has a variety of accommodation options. My friend & I stayed in a comfortable motel style room with a queen bed, a single bed, bathroom and inc tea, coffee & microwave. The surrounds are very natural with wonderful birdlife, kangaroos and quite possibly koalas. We did the koala walk nearby and saw at least 15 koalas in their natural habitat. The Abbey is situated on the lake, and there were 2 very comfortable chairs all set up with a coffee table between them, perfect for drinks watching the sunset over the water. There is a large oval type grassed area and a large conference room/art studio with a commercial kitchen. There is a lovely country style chapel in the grounds with beautiful hand made stained glass windows.

I had high expectations from the price and the photos. In reality, the ”resort” is disappointing. the apartment itself was lovely and the view was nice, but the facilities are very poor. the pool, which we were really looking forward to, was murky and cloudy with cracks in the bottom. my children found it very unpleasant. it is marketed as being heated, but it was cold, I could not get in at all and the kids did not stay in long. the tennis Court and basketball ring are combined, so if people were playing tennis, the kids could not play basketball and vice versa. we hoped to use the kayaks a lot as this was a main enticement for us, but they are very expensive to use and we certainly did not get our moneys worth. it would have been great if we could have used them a lot more, but the cost is prohibitive. you cant just go for a little paddle in the morning and evening, you have to pay for 3 hours each time... and if there is no one at the reception, you cant access the vests and paddles, so you are limited to when there is someone there. it is a great shame, for the price of accommodation, and particularly with the pool being so unpleasant, the use of kayaks could have been complimentary. unfortunately we had neighbours on each night who were noisy, or smoking and drinking. the private jetties are not actually private, they are shared. the people beside us were sitting on theirs drinking and smoking and swearing which meant that we could not use ours. I had been looking forward to walking along the pictured boardwalk, but it is not very long. we decided to swim at the ”beach” at the foreshore ... it is not a very nice walk and then on arrival, it is not something that you would let your children swim in. it is not pleasant. we walked into the Main Street (the esplanade) each day, it is about a ten minute walk along the streets. there is a beach there. Raymond island is fantastic, and the bikes are terrific fun. we had hoped to hire a boat but found it difficult to organise unfortunately. Captains Cove is the most expensive place that we have ever stayed at, I wanted to splash out and stay somewhere fancy. it is not fancy. we have stayed at much better places than this, that have been a lot less money. this is not worth the amount of money that we paid. very disappointing for that price. it would not take much to improve the experience - fix up the pool, have the kayaks more accessible, have the basketball ring not on the tennis court. something to block the neighbours view onto the balcony would be nice too,

Le motel est un peu excentré par rapport au centre-ville, mais cela reste dans l'ensemble un très bon plan pour visiter la région ou aller à Lakes Entrance. Le responsable à l'accueil est très sympa et compétent. La chambre est très grande et fonctionnelle, avec une salle de bain dont la douche est vraiment très agréable à utiliser. Notre place de parking pour la voiture devant la chambre était immense ! Et le rapport qualité-prix est véritablement imbattable.

Stopped overnight travelling through with the family for a funeral on the following day. Reception staff very accommodating to our needs. Beautiful nights sleep, exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows, especially after travelling long distances. Great breakfast in the morning served by very friendly waitress who efficiently looked after us. Will highly recommend to others........well done thank-you.

What a great accidental find. Needed to break a long road journey with a last minute overnight stop - a quick look online & a call secured a room here for the night. Very welcoming & friendly owner/staff - showed me to my room & explained all the facilities available including info on local eateries as the motor inn doesn't have an onsite restaurant. The room was very well outfitted for the price & was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable & although the room faced onto the main road it was very quiet & we slept very soundly. Well priced for the room quality & facilities included. Parking was conveniently right outside our room door. Definitely on list to stay again when next in area.

I will recommend Tanjil Motel to family & friends. Motel was clean, tidy and rooms to suit many. Our family were very comforable during the stay and the motel owners were very accomodating. A variety of beverages on offer to purchase in the main office. We got breakfast in the morning too. Kids want to come back in the warmer months to have a dip in the pool and were very satisfied with the wifi and foxtel on offer.

Clean, modern and large motel room. Thick towels. Microwave Kettle Tea and coffee and biscuits Shampoo and conditioner small bottles and soaps. Bed side lamps. Couch. Comfortable bed. Swimming pool with tables and chairs. Parking outside rooms. Walking distance to the grand terminus hotel. Recommend for dinner or lunch. 8 minute walk. Walking distance to kfc and McDonalds and Dan Murphys. Definitely recommend Reasonable priced. Stocked fridge of beer, wine, water and coke. Can purchase breakfast pack $22 from reception and other drinks and snacks
