Checked in late for an overnight stay, and it was brilliant. Lovely rooms, well appointed and clean, excellent location, with views of the bay. Friendly check in staff. Dinner and drinks at the hotel was great, good range, excellent venue and fantastic food. Plenty of off street parking for the Harley, but not a fan of gravel carparks. Great place to stay.

In its class this motel is spotless, clean, spacious and organized well to help you have a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the dressing room just outside the bathroom with a shelf to put your luggage on and a full length mirror. There is lots of storage space. There was another mirror in the room and a nice sitting area. we did not try the pool. The beach is just a block up the road. Also within walking distance to a café and grocery store. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

Perfect location, but the place is a little old and getting tired and run down. Also there is no onsite BBQ for families to gather round, even though they have a big grass area which is not used for anything. It needs modernising desperately. Pillows were like concrete and the beds stiff. And with everyone smoking outside their rooms all night and early morning, you are going to smell of smoke all day. On a positive note. The staff were great, doing a good job with a 70’s era accomodation, and at the time we visited. One of the big buildings and reception had burned down. I wish we was told to us before we booked

We were visiting Phillip Island for a couple of nights and stayed at the Seahorse Motel which was fairly close to the main shopping area in Cowes. Our room was clean and each room had its own car space out the front of their room. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities good. The free WiFi worked without a problem. There is a nice play area for the kids and the pool did look inviting but the weather wasn’t.

Il personale di Amaroo Park è amichevole. Le cabine erano senza spot. Letto estremamente comodo. Lino senza spot e le foglie eccezionale fresche e nuove. Tutto quello che ti serve è nella cabina e funzionale. La piscina è senza spot e ben mantenuta. Le aree sono ben mantenute e pulite. Vicino alla strada principale e a piedi di distanza dai supermercati. Avendo il bellissimo caffè vicino alla porta è un bonus. Ci sono così tante cose da fare a Phillip Island. Siamo ansiosi di tornare al parco Amaroo

Unfortunately, it was not the relaxing getaway my fiancée and I thought it would be. We're not very hard to please and are happy to stay mostly anywhere as long as there's a comfy bed and quiet. We stayed two nights in the garden villa which was the most premium and expensive room on offer, expecting a secluded and private area to ourselves, which for the most part is what we got. Visually, the garden surrounding the villa is stunning with a delightful view of greenery and nature, and there is no one else who stays in that area behind the main building. The room itself was eclectic in decor which was a welcome change to stay somewhere with unique tastes as opposed to the usual and generic designs of modern accommodation. The spa in the room was great and worked very well, it was warm and the jets were functioning fine. However, we had the horrible luck of staying on two nights where there was a family, with children, staying directly above us. The ceiling feels like it's paper thin and you can hear every footstep that people are taking above, specifically when they walk down the hallway to use the bathroom (yes you can tell their movements due to the 10 - 12 steps they take followed soon after by the sound of a toilet flushing and then another 10 - 12 steps and someone going down stairs). This would usually be semi-bearable, as the occasional sound of someone walking back and forth is still annoying, but fine. But as mentioned earlier, there were children staying up there and they insisted on running back and forth down that hallway so many times throughout the day, and especially the early morning, that it became extremely frustrating to hear. I tried to take an afternoon nap when we arrived after being so exhausted from the travel and was woken up by the sound of thumping footsteps running back and forth. As these two nights were supposed to be our little getaway from our own kids, and a chance for us to have a relaxing sleep in, we wanted to nip this problem in the bud immediately. We reported the noise to the proprietor Jenni on the first night, Jenni was very friendly and assured us that she would speak to the family about the kids' running around. We later spoke over the phone again to the other proprietor, Harley who was also very friendly (and characteristically humourous) about the situation, reassuring us that the family had been spoken to. Harley also mentioned that the family was in fact, their own family visiting from the UK (as this site also appears to be the actual residence of the two proprietors). I am unsure of the logistics of this situation, but personally, I believe that having your own family members stay at the location, but cause disruption to the paying customers, is an unfair and detrimental business decision. The next morning I was woken up at approximately 7:00am to the sound of children's feet running back and forth and thumping above me again. Not just to the bathroom but just constant back and forth through a

La stanza era grande, buona cucina, grande banco alto, vista sulla piscina dalla finestra della cucina. Grande piccola sotto la copertina per godere di un drink dopodomani. Grande spa nella stanza non costruito per 2 ma puoi farlo, non lasciare che la chiave della stanza finisca nella borsa, portala a casa con te, mandala a casa per postarla solo per presentarmi con la chiave che ha inviato perfettamente a se stesso, alcuni di loro hanno una. Il tempo era perfetto, tre giorni di sole che hanno reso la pausa ancora migliore, nonostante tutti i grandi luoghi turistici siano stati chiusi. Il Museo del Veterano del Vietnam non solo apre, ma con una banda in diretta per voi per tagliare i piedi anche mentre si comprano e hanno un muffin e un latte, grandi ragazzi musicali.

We stayed 3 nights, 2 adults and two boys aged 8 & 9, in one of the cabins. We knew we weren’t going to the Sheraton and maybe some are better than others but #5 was well below par. The cooking facilities were very poor. One small saucepan without a lid, an old, buckled, dirty aluminium frypan and an electric frypan (the underneath of which was covered in fat). We weren’t planning on cooking gourmet food but there wasn’t even a salad bowl!! There was built up dirt and grime around the hot plates and sink. The bathroom was in very poor condition. All the cabinetry is swollen from steam/water damage and in need of replacement. I had the misfortune just before we left to look under the couch for a missing shoe and oh dear! It’s a long time since a vacuum or broom has been under there!! Outside the railing around the deck is falling apart, indicative of the age and general deterioration. During our stay the pool was a disgrace. Green and murky on arrival on Friday afternoon, it was closed for the whole day on Saturday for much needed maintenance and reopened on Sunday. Whilst the green had gone it was far from crystal clear. The old, cracked plastic chairs were in keeping with the general lack of care and upkeep we experienced. Interestingly upon checkout the usual question of “did you enjoy your stay” wasn’t asked. Perhaps they’ve been trained not to for fear of the answer? I’ve lived in Victoria all my life (I’m 60 years old) and this was my first ever visit to Phillip Island. The island is lovely but next time we will stay elsewhere.
