We booked the “Walk, wine and stay” package in a medium size room. We arrived early and was quickly checked into our room as it was ready by the friendly lady on reception. We stayed in the servants quarters 27 which was spacious and comfortable. The building is 200 years old and obviously restored to keep its charm. The kitchenette had everything we needed to have basic meals with a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Our tour around the estate was with Bruno, who has worked at the estate for a long time. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting stories as we wandered the historic buildings and checked out some convict artifacts. Our walk ended with a wine tasting and cheeseboard. The tasting was not rushed and the cheeseboard was very generous and delicious!!! After the tasting we selected our bottle of wine to take back to our room to enjoy at our leisure. Of course we also purchased plenty to take home. Sadly the on site restaurant is not operating through the week (post Covid) so we had to venture out for dinner. Lots of options within a short drive. We decided upon Chinese but it is take away only (post Covid) so we grabbed some drinks and dessert before heading back to our accommodation. The estate is 200 years old and full of history…. it is so much more than a winery. The old buildings give the accommodation lots of charm and character, although (clearly from other reviews) some people may just consider it old and rundown…. the history and original buildings are magnificent, internally the rooms are completely refurbished with comfortable amenities. Our room had 2 two seater lounges, dining table and 4 chairs, tv, basic kitchenette, outdoor table/chairs, queen bed with bathroom that had a good sized shower with plenty of hot water. The highlight of our stay was the tour, it made our stay!! Learning about the convict settlement and history definitely added to the atmosphere and charm of Coolangatta Estate. All in all a really lovely stay and we would definitely stay again.

Nice place easy check in, rooms very clean Ni e comfortable bed, modern TV and coffee, tea and microwave , staff friendly. Nice places to eat next door best fish and chips ever, great little pub up the road with good food and a short drive to most places of interest

This Resort is great, attached as it is to Worrigee Links Golf Coursenand Sports Club. Room spacious and clean, bed comfy, amenities very good. Only thing I found interesting, they have a large sliding door which opens onto the Golf Course, but no sliding wire door to keep creepy crawlies out, so door stays shut! Easy walk to the Sports Club for a drink and a top meal. Staff in both places very good, but clearing away of empty plates after meal very poor. Breakfast in the room at Springs was excellent, arrived hot and eggs done perfectly. Would go back here again.

Bedino fresco con camere molto belle e personale utile. Buona letto e bagno, anche se la porta alla bagno era un po' di disturbo (questione di design). Bello colazione continentale con caffè barrister (a un costo aggiuntivo). Parcheggio e accesso facile. Andiamo di nuovo lì e lo consigliamo ai nostri amici.

Passiamo una notte qui come fermata mentre guidavamo la strada costiera verso Melbourne. Quando ci siamo saluti in macchina, ci siamo saluti dal proprietario e ci hanno mostrato dove parcheggiare nel posto designato. La stanza fuori era bella. Molto pulito e confortevole con vibe spiaggia. Negozi a piedi e un bel ristorante che serve delizioso pranzo e sera. Un'etichetta speciale era una bottiglia di fizz, cioccolato e candela per celebrare la luna di miele. Grazie mille per la gentile ospite.

L'ora dell'entrata era fino alle 18:00. A le 17:20 ci chiamarono per chiedere quando arrivammo e gli rispondemmo che eravamo in mezz'ora. Abbiamo dovuto prendere le chiavi seguendo le istruzioni che grazie al nostro figlio che viaggiava con noi ha gestito. In camera, nonostante fosse per tre, ci avevano lasciato solo due asciugamani, un sapone e un gel . C'era un'immagine adesiva sul pavimento della stanza che ti aveva colpito il calzino...

This is a nice Motel. A little effort has been made to offer a comfortable and appealing room so on arrival everything looks great. ( I did notice that the once lovely potted Ficus trees had been severely deprived of water and now resembled dry sticks in pots. ) that saddened me ! Everything in the room works well and is functional. They ask top dollar for this room $ 135 , discounted from $145 as I asked if they could meet my budget of $120 , not to be , ok , I was tired . Bed was comfy , tv and heating worked , decor good , quiet location friendly reception . Thing I noticed was that there were some areas attention had not been paid to in cleaning details . Such as someone else’s hairs on the shower wall, the base of the taps needed a good scrub with Gumption and a toothbrush , the plastic sink plug needed a soak in bleach and scrub. One decor pillow had a sticky mark/ substance on it easily removed with a sponge . The bathroom floor looked like it had been wiped with a dirty mop or rag as there were smear marks over it. I felt a bit sad that the housekeeping was not being checked or monitored by management properly because this is a nice motel . I did mention this to the gentleman on reception in the morning and he was graciously receptive to my comments . So I only hope for the benefit of the business this will be taken on board . It is not a big deal to get the cleaning right , of course you need to employ the right staff to get this very important part of it right. Especially for $145 a night would you not agree?
