Abbiamo soggiornato solo per 1 notte, ma siamo impressionati dalla stanza. Studio tipo con letto molto confortevole e camera pulita. Il costo vale la pena per l'eccellente posizione. Ci sono solo due cose: il primo è che la porta nel doccia non si chiudeva correttamente, quindi l'acqua fuggiva causando il pavimento bagnato. Il secondo era la scatola di tessuto non era nemmeno mezzo piena. :( cose minori, ma può essere migliorata :)

Myself and my partner had an appt and decided to stay here as the photos online looked okay and it was close to where we needed to go. The first problem started when we couldn’t even see the hotel from the road, the grass was overgrown, bushes covering the signage and no lights whatsoever. We were told to check the room before we paid which was fine, we checked and it definitely wasn’t too bad nor the best but we decided for one night it should be okay. After going out of dinner and coming back we properly inspected the room and we noticed all the hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the shower, mould on the bathroom roof, the room smelt, really outdated, furniture was falling apart, the whole room was just disgraceful really. $150 was a rip off for what they were offering. After noticing the hair in the bathroom, I thought to check the bed and to my surprise there was HAIR again under the sheets and that was enough for us to speak to the guy at reception, get a full REFUND and get the hell out of there. He wasn’t going to give us a refund and when we told him to have a look at what we found he said “it doesn’t matter, I’ll just put the doona back on” implying that he didn’t care and wouldn’t clean the bed free of hair and would just put the sheets back on to cover it. Absolutely disgusting. How they are still in business is beyond me. Will NEVER recommend here and will make sure everyone knows not to waste their money.

Clean motel room with microwave, plates, bowls, cutlery and wine glasses. Coffee, tea and biscuits. Bed was comfortable and soap, shampoo etc provided. McDonalds just a short walk away and also a restaurant. Woolworths also nearby.

Ho classificato la posizione come eccellente solo perché l'hotel è nella zona dove dovevo lavorare. Ciò significa che le camere sono molto confortevoli. Poiché questo è un motel piuttosto, può essere un po' rumoroso a volte. Il ristorante Bistro è eccellente e i fine settimana può essere molto occupato. Rimango di nuovo e consiglio questo hotel a chiunque debba essere in quella zona.

L'hotel è situato vicino a un centro commerciale e tutto è vicino. Ho soggiornato in un appartamento di studio e la lavatrice era disponibile al 6° piano, gratuitamente. Buona permanenza a Epping.

I loved the Ivanhoe Punthill Apartments. The staff were friendly & always helpful - were able to give great tips and advice and any question I had regarding my stay they answered and helped with promptly. I loved it so much for my short 1 week stay, I rebooked my next 4 week stay. For a longer stay they put me on the floor with other longer stays so guests had minimal transfer of people on one floor. The apartment building itself was extremely safe in regards to locked floors and building access being locked when reception was not covered. There was reception from 7am to 8pm - so I felt extremely safe. They are also pet friendly, I had my cat stay & my dog - which the staff were awesome with and loved petting or doing an extra clean if I requested it (no extra cost!) The location is brilliant- so close to Heidelberg train station (legitimately 10 mins walk) and had plenty of shops nearby. To get into the city via an uber is 15-20 mins! The rooms and facilities were clean, simple to use & accessible. Internet access was also amazing.I loved the Ivanhoe Punthill Apartments. You have the perks of a clean (and cleaned daily) room with working kitchen (stove plus oven plus large fridge), staffed reception, and location for Melbourne. Was a lovely place to stay. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Melbourne. Clean , staff were lovely , security parking . Easy access to local coffee shops. Highly Recommended

Wow, how sad. I had previously stayed at this motel, and it was exceptional value for money. How things change. I'm in Melbourne due to my daughter being in the Austin Hospital. I am currently on crutches following knee surgery. On arrival, I found a park (no disabled parking), I checked in as i was aware you could not check in past 7pm, was given a key and directions that my room was down the hall, l put my stuff in the room, and went straight to the hospital, arriving back at 8pm. Arrived to find no towels or facewashers in my room, just 2 bath mats. There were no instructions on how anything worked. There is no reception to get towels. Just a bed, shower, microwave, dunny, and kettle. Next morning, I had to leave early at 8am. Again, there is no reception. Left a note advising that there were no towels, facewashers, etc, in the room and requesting the password for the WiFi. Got back again at 8pm to the ROOM TOTALLY UNTOUCHED, NOT CLEANED, NO TOWELS, NO BED MADE NOTHING! And NO RECEPTION to have anything changed. Again, I have to use a bathmat after a shower. This morning, I go to check out at 8am NO RECEPTION! At 8.15, reception opens, l advise the young lady of my experience to which she apologised. All in all, if you are after a bed (hard as a rock), a shower with no towels, noisy air-conditioning, a toilet, kettle, microwave, instant coffee and tea, cup, and teaspoon, are used to lots of road noise, like to be woken in the middle of the night by other guests talking in the corridor, not in need of a disabled park, can handle stairs, have no instructions on how to use anything, have hidden light switches, have very unkempt outside areas, then the Bell Motel is for you. This is just really sad. Be aware. Ps. On the morning of check out, whilst waiting for the 8am reception to arrive at 8.15, I noticed a QR code on the back of the key. When scanned, this opens a compendium that does have the WiFi password. It also states that the room will be cleaned and replenished daily. It also has a range of terms and conditions that the booking website did not have. I really hope that this place can return to what it was last time I visited, reception that was available during the advertised hours, information on how to get things out of hours (such as towels), the basic breaky which was excellent, comfortable beds, rooms cleaned as expected and...towels. My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay. Thank you to all the team at the Novotel Melbourne Preston! We’ll be back!
