Saw on FB hotel bistro has been renovated & menu revamped soo decided to try it. Turned up with no booking on a Saturday night and it was busy. Outdoor area has nice seating and small area dedicated for children play (slide etc) and several families using it. Indoors bistro is clean, well spaced tables, warm welcome and waitress found us a table. Menu has lots of choices and price ranges. Order via QR code or at bar. I ordered via QR code which was easy to navigate & friend chose the bar option. We all had the roast dinner (seniors $17:90, non seniors $22:90), Coke Zero ($5:50), friend had different wines. Food arrived quickly, good portion and nicely presented. Meat was cooked well as were potatoes & pumpkin, other veg slightly over cooked but I prefer al a dente. Definitely will go back

Alloggio molto situato, che è flessibile su; durata del soggiorno, dimensione e tipo di camera, più cena e parcheggio. Ho scelto di rimanere nella sezione motociclista e il personale amichevole era solo troppo felice di cambiare la mia prenotazione online all'iscrizione, dal livello del terreno a un ottimo piano superiore. Le aree sono bellissime, con un'ampia sedia aperta, nonché un'area sensazionale di piscina. Ci è un caffè in loco e il parcheggio auto è molto e molto ampio. In questa parte di Brisbane Nord ci sono molti ristoranti eccellenti. E ho deciso di andare con un ritiro dal premio Pizza Plaza a Boondall, lavato con una rosa moscato di fiori. Stayed in a family room. very slight minor problem with the room, which management fixed immediately, The booking process was excellent. Initially we booked online thru an overseas booking group. We were quoted over $800 for a 2 bedroom apartment for two nights. A quick call to reception at the hotel, and the price dropped to $500. Rooms were clean, tidy, fully self contained and parking was easy. The restaurant, (which had ”not so good” Trip Advisor, reviews) was very good and reasonably priced. We were advised that there had been a change in management of the restaurant. Altogether a good stay and would not hesitate to stay there again

Check in was streamlined and we were given helpful recommendations for shopping and dining within easy walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room, and the inclusion of complimentary water in the fridge. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Pricing was quite competitive.

Un motel meraviglioso con grandi strutture. La gestione è molto accogliente e fa un grande lavoro per mantenere la proprietà ad un livello elevato.

Amorevole questo posto, il personale della reception sono sempre così bello le camere sono quelle di vicino a un 5 stelle rating l’unico motivo che non è un completo 5 stelle è la piscina è piccola e nessun giardino ecc ma le camere con spa in loro sono sorprendenti sarà certamente indietro!!!

Terrible! Do yourself a favour and do not stay here. The room I booked via their website was a ‘classic room with 1 king size bed’. For $250 per night. What I got was a room in the staff service corridor. It was excessively noisy with staff running past, noise from reception and the car park entry to the hotel. Staff arrive early in the morning to yell out loudly to each other outside your room. Housekeeping is right outside your door and this area is best described as a forgotten corner of a hotel not suitable for guests. Yet, they are using this as a guest room for $250 per night. I’d booked a 2 night stay and on the first morning I waited in reception for a long time for staff to show up. I asked to be moved to the guest area instead of the noisy staff area. The receptionist told me it was my fault because I’d selected a ground floor room with my online booking. She insinuated that I was poor and obviously not able to pay for a higher room and therefore deserved the noisy and staff corridor. I insisted on a change of room and left the hotel for the day’s activities. It took them many hours to get back to me to say it would an extra $60 to move to level one ‘but the room would be the same’, just on level one. I was out for the day so couldn’t view the area. I didn’t feel like $310 per night was viable so asked them to cancel the night and refund me. I’m still waiting for the refund. The most disappointing part of this is the attitude of the staff. They had no regard for my concerns and no ability to manage my complaint or request for a change of room. They just insisted it was my fault for selecting that room. Their website certainly does not describe it as a noisy staff corridor across from the housekeeping and reception hub. In addition, the room was musty and damp (obviously not used often). The pillows were dirty and one had someone’s else’s makeup marks on it. They had shoved an extra bed in the room, meaning there was no couch as per the online picture of the room I selected. This meant no bedside tables or access to PowerPoints. There was no privacy from the street. When you opened the curtain, the cars and people outside looked straight into seeing you in bed or getting dressed. The TV is ceiling mounted to damage your neck. The online photos showed a business desk for work which I needed. It didn’t exist either. I was prepared to overlook all of this, but the noise and staff movements outside the room was unacceptable. Avoid this hotel and their lack of care at all costs.

Aspley Motor Inn, Brisbane QLD Stayed: July 2024 Fairly good value and reasonable motel, in an OK location. Room was a bit tired; but clean, functional, with a few little kitchenette facilities & small fridge. TV was OK, aircon fairly modern & worked well. Shower & bathroom also somewhat dated; but again clean & did the trick. Bed had no handy power points along it’s bedhead wall & somewhat strange (inadequate) little modern storage shelves either side that were just big enough to be some use. Car parking right out front of each room is handy, access to driveway is easy, though the very busy road nearby had plenty of traffic noise noticeable in the room at times. Within handy cycling distance of Zillmere parkrun. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, not a bad choice of accom in that area – will consider again in future if need be.
