Rooms comfortable. Signs everywhere, including the greeting at reception, notifying the risk of setting off the smoke alarm. The risk of fines and the inconvenience was strongly communicated. From close to midnight and for the next hour of our stay the fire alarm went off. First response was the owner telling us it was a false alarm. The next three alarms were 15 minutes apart and no response was provided from the owner. Not only was this totally disturbing throughout the night, the false alarms left us questioning if the alarm was faulty. No emergency services attended any of the alarms and truly, the question is, is the alarm linked to a base system. Due to the overkill of communication about setting off the smoke alarm, one would wonder if the gentleman/owner is fully aware the smoke alarm is faulty and possibly illegal. The accommodation charges you extra by the hour if you attempt to check in early and then fire alarms disrupt your overnight stay. The rooms were comfortable enough, the continuous setting off of fire alarms produced a nervous nights stay.

Needing somewhere to stay the night before we boarded the spirit of Tasmania, and not being familiar with Geelong we chose this accommodation based on reviews and the price. We were pleasantly surprised as it was just like staying in a two bedroom over 55’s unit. It had a full kitchen and a good size lounge area with two bedrooms and extremely comfortable beds. It also had a laundry with washing machine and dryer and the dining area off the kitchen. It was a great place to stay as we were three adults and we had plenty of space. Whilst the accommodation is about 8 km to the ship terminal, it was only a 10 minute drive at 7:30 in the morning but could take up to 25 minutes in peak hour traffic. Would happily stay here again.

A very nice Morel with spotless grounds and a room (4) that was large had everything u could ask for was spotless clean and like wise the bathroom Very large vanity area everything supplied As with all motels car parking tight but this room had undercover parking with better than average width . Be aware Booking .con advertises pay at property but Motel rejects this So Booking .com are not correct , the payment was taken in advance by Motel as per their policy Was not their fault but rather wrong info from Booking . Com !!!!!

Stayed at Riverglen Holiday park many times and always clean facilities and friendly staff and boy didn't we get a shock when we booked in again, this time for 9 nights on a powered site to find that TASMAN have taken over the park and what a disgrace it is. The communal park facilities were not cleaned prior to our arrival and grass was all over the floor, the showers and toilets were not cleaned, the bins not emptied, very little toilet paper and there was something growing in the hand wash that defied any sort of hygiene. In this day of Covid still being very active in the community and absolutley no cleaning practices evident we had no choice but to leave this park after suffering very unclean facilities for 4 nights. We did advise management of the conditions of the facilities and got told that they would get to it when they hired staff. Not really good enough when we are paying top price for the use of clean facilities. We have asked for a refund of the 5 remaining nights we booked and paid for siting unclean facilities and we have not yet received any money from them. They gave us a written assurance that we would receive a refund and supplied a mobile number that is not connected and after over a week still no refund and calls not being returned. Shonky all the way in my book. We strongly recommend that you go next door or somewhere else! It is with a heavy heart that I write this under the name of Riverglen, we will miss that park.

The gentleman who works there is lovely. A warm greeting and helpful. We wanted to go in the po and he asked what my daughter’s favourite music was then put it on for her.

Clean cabins with good on-site amenities including a small playground and indoor pool along with a large park and playground across the road. Like any caravan park, the sites are very closely spaced but we weren’t disturbed by any noise in the evening and kids slept well. Was well located with cafe’s etc within easy reach

Abbiamo scelto l'ammiraglio per la sua posizione e il suo costo.Abbiamo trovato il personale molto utile e accogliente. La nostra stanza era un buon standard e molto pulito. Molte capsule di latte, che non sempre è il caso. Il colazione era davvero buono. La prossima volta rimarremo, mangiamo al ristorante. Inoltre, la prossima volta ci prenotiamo direttamente con il Inn come è un modo più amichevole e sicuro - piuttosto che un'agenzia di prenotazione. Ci siamo pienamente goditi l'esperienza. Fino alla prossima volta.
